This was a short quick read that I wanted more of. Cleo Samuel's is a college student who is struggling to pay her bills and take care of her father. Julius Knights is a hot sexy billionaire who offers her a million dollars for 30 days of hot sexy times. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
I tried, but I'm just so burnt out from stories about autocratic BDSM billionaire bad boys and the mousy virgins who love 'em. Honestly, I couldn't even get past the first chapter.
First, the hero comments on how he was named Julius after the ruler (who always conquers, yadda yadda) and how his new soon-to-be conquest is named after Cleopatra -- kinda cheesy, but let's move on.
Then he's ruminating about how in his dance/sex club you hear all kinds of naughty sounds: "Sounds of whipping, slapping, cocking--" Woah, woah, let me stop you right there. Cocking? What kind of sound does a cock make, and do I even really want to know?
Finally, he spells out the reason why he's going after our virginal ingenue -- revenge because her father screwed our hero over in some way, a man by the name of Sam Samuels (because I guess that was the best name for a potential villain that the author was able to come up with).
Anyway, I see there's positive reviews and the book has a high-ish overall rating, so maybe I'll give it some time and try to come back to it later, but for right now I just can't seem to get my head into it.
Nope! She's an inexperienced virgin. So, half of this book made absolutely no sense. As previously stated, she's an inexperienced virgin. She's never had or given oral. How in the world did ANY of this book make any sense. I'd give it less stars if possible.
I enjoyed the story, but it seemed a little short. I understand the cliffhanger concept of a story. I felt a little disappointed and wished for a few more chapters with the same great details.
I felt this tease was well written. However the brevity of the offering is troubling. I prefer a straightforward book, that doesn’t require multiple purchases to unfold the layers of the story. I don’t have the interest to be strung from plot line to plot line~
