I wanted to visit Arizona and see the Grand Canyon for as long as I can remember, but now - naa… not anymore. Sometimes reading about something is enough for us literary travelers, different for everyone, of course - you either must see it with your own eyes, or you feel you’ve seen enough).
Ngl Rio Colorado is so beautiful, tempting to make you want to actually see it.

Didn’t know Tucson was the Astronomy capital of the world.
Does anybody else find the name Wyatt Earp hilarious?!
Came across a mention of Navajo radio’s unbreakable code during WWII - found that particularly interesting and had to Google it up.

Nice read and a good feel of the dry, desertic, western part of the US. If you plan to visit Arizona, this book is only an ice-breaker and not a guide.
