A number of historical details were off. Joshua tends to repeat himself quite a bit and the timing and spacing of entries doesn’t always make sense.

I didn't like this book as much as the first two. It spends a lot of time retelling the highlights from them. With one huge exception, I didn't think there was as much action in this one.

For the sets of my America books, I am just going to treat all three as one book and review the last one. Although some elements while historically accurate might be a bit cruel for a young child to read, I liked the main character and found him very authentic. I think this would be a good set for my son to read.
