FTC DISCLAIMER: I RECEIVED AN E-ARC FROM THE AUTHOR. I VOLUNTARILY OFFER MY HONEST REVIEW OF THE BOOK, THOUGH IT IS NOT EXPECTED OF ME! RECEIPT OF THIS BOOK IN THIS MANNER DOES NOT AFFECT MY OPINION OF THE BOOK OR THE CONTENT OF MY REVIEW!

As with other books in this series, this book builds off the previous novel in the series, but can also stand own its own enough that a reader won't be lost if they start with this story. That being said, the twist at the end will be more meaningful if you've at least read book 1 of the series.

I liked the small bits of humor sprinkled throughout this story. Sherry seemed a little clueless, and it wasn't helped by Kyle's lack of communication. The suspense angle was glaringly evident, even in the first chapters, so it really wasn't that suspenseful. What keeps me coming back to this series, despite my 3 star ratings of it, is the family. You can tell family is very important to the author and the story line, and checking in with the old characters increases the book's appeal for me. I'm eager to see where the twist takes us!

This was an entertaining romance. Sherry finds studying bugs more interesting than trying to date. Kyle works with his cousin on a ranch and wants to be a foreman someday. Sherry joins her friends at a bar one night and Kyle is at the same bar. He rescues her from someone who is hitting on her, and they slowly start to get to know each other. The story line and the relationship between these two seemed realistic to me. This book can be read as a standalone story, though it is #4 in the Montana Trails Series. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books in this series as well as others in this series.

I received a free book in exchange for an honest review. This is the third book and it will make you laugh, scream and worry. You meet Sherri and Kyle. Kyle saves Sherri from a rapist and that starts the story. It continues from there. You get to meet more characters and the best one is Tommy the tarantula, yuck, he would make me scream. A bug lady and a cowboy what an odd mix. I think these two are my favourites too bad Kyle did not get Guy (the rapist). I recommend this series to all who love western romances.

This is a gripping story that has tragedy and heartbreak, but also sweetness and love. Kyle is loyal, brave, charming and sweet. Sherri is independent, confident and serious. The storyline is dramatic and suspenseful. I love that these books family oriented, even though they're all sad in some way.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.

I have never read a story like this one. It was interesting, unique and just flat out entertaining. It does end on a cliffhanger…which has me going crazy at the moment. There is nonstop drama and will have you reading straight through…couldn’t even stop to eat dinner! A MUST READ!! WOW!

I love this series. Unless real life rears its ugly head in nasty ways, I hate putting these books down. Well.. even when it does I still hate it actually; This series deals with couples and the real-life challenges that any of us could face on any given day. It's watching how they grow and deal and find each other amongst it all that's awesome.

Looking forward to book 4!!

An excellent addition to this series. I have been enjoying Bonnie R Paulson’s writing style throughout this interesting series. The characters in this family are a lovely mix of fun, seriousness and emotional chaos and they make for some interesting interactions. I particularly love the reactions when people meet Tommy for the first time.

A good book for television.

Bonnie R. Paulson, you are a great author.. I liked the setting. Kyle and Sherrie are the best characters. The well written plot about them was very good. I am losing track in this series but I think Cyan and Jereth have a wedding in this book. On to the next book!

No Ending Again

This book had no ending, forcing me to go to the next one at once. The two main characters are fleshed out and loveable. More prior characters are included. Loved the storyline but again, I'm left hanging and wondering what happened! Such a disappointment. Otherwise I would have given five stars on two or more of the series.

Unbridled Trails

Another great book in this series by Bonnie Paulson. I have loved reading her books for so long that I can hardly wait till the next one is out. This series on the Trails has been another exceptional one and very hard to put away each night without finishing a story. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill

A great read

I love how this author covers tough issues in life and how they affect people's lives. She does so with subtlety, human predators, the real life of American ranchers and farmers, all within a clean, compelling romance. The characters so real you can't help but root for them and want to help! I love this series. It shouldn't be missed.

This story was very emotional and interesting

The cancer is back and seems like the family is falling apart. The characters are very good. The wild fire feels like you are there. The tarantula is plain creepy and then the thing escapes his cage. I almost stopped reading but the book really holds your attention.

Unbridled Trails by Bonnie R Paulson, is not the first story I have read by this author. I have read her Psycho Collection and loved it, so I thought…with writing like that…I would give one of her western romances a try. Also my name happens to be Sherry.

Sherry is a bug girl, an entomologist, and she does prefer her bugs to people. She has a pet tarantula and I had a chuckle when Kyle and Tommy (the tarantula) met.

Sherry first met Kyle when Guy, a bully predator of the lowest order, tries to drug Sherry at the bar. Kyle swoops in and saves the day. That is when the troubles start for both of them. They are attracted and try to deny it. Their communication skills are a bit lacking but they slowly come around. I loved when Kyle cooked her Rocky Mountain Oysters. LOL How could he be a hero and be so naive and gullible at the same time?

If you have to choose between a big weevil and a small weevel, then choose the lesser of two weevils.

Humor was sprinkled throughout Unbridled Trails, yet a danger lurked in the background, nagging at me, never letting me forget that Guy was still out there…somewhere and wanted a piece of her.

I was surprised at the ending and that is always a good thing for me.

Unbridled Trails is a fast paced, quick and easy read of love, survival, family and romance. Perfect for the summer season while you are lazing around the pool or on the beach.

As always with Bonnie's books in this series it feels like we are returning home. I have LOVED this series so far and always eagerly anticipate the next book in the series. This one is Kyle's story and begins just before the wedding of Jareth and Cyan from the previous book, Forbidden Trails.

Kyle is struggling with where his life is taking him and also the personal struggle with what happened to his sister at the hands of a very nasty character Guy. It's Kyle's determination to make Guy pay that leads him straight to Sherry a people shy entomologist who struggles with the sudden attention of Kyle and Guy and it isn't until her life is put at serious risk that she realises just who she should give a chance to.

It's always difficult to review Bonnie's books without giving too much away....they're family and so it's a continuation of that story and with old characters returning and new ones being introduced I can only hope this series continues for a long time coming! You probably, in my opinion need to read the previous two in order to follow all the character dynamics but, if you want to just read this one then I can't see it being too off-putting....just maybe a bit head scratching to begin with!

I once again loved this story and can't wait for book four....Bonnie sure knows how to hook a reader in and keep them wanting more! A great author and another great book!

This is the third installment in the Montana Trails series and it really should not be read as a stand-alone novel. It actually is more like a serial. This one starts just before Cyan and Jareth’s wedding (Cyan and Jareth met in the last book). Kyle has been following Guy for weeks trying to prevent him from drugging and raping women as he did to his sister. Fortunately, Kyle catches him before he can do anything more than drug Sherri’s drink. However, that only makes Guy that much more determined. But it does allow Sherri to meet and get to know Kyle.
Sherri is much more comfortable dealing with bugs instead of people. Especially men. So when she starts getting attention from more than one man she is conflicted. But when Guy comes back she knows just how much Kyle means to her, now she just needs to survive.
This was a great addition to the series and I can’t wait to see how things work out for Nate, Emma, and the rest of the gang as they try to survive the latest hurdles in their lives.

ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.

Sherri meets Kyle the morning after he rescues her from the man that tried to "roofie" her at her friend's bachelorette party. Kyle had been watching Guy and saw him put something in Sherri's drink. Because she was so tired, she only drank a small portion before falling asleep. Kyle kept her from Guy and took her to her home.

Book 3 in the Clearwater County, The Montana Trails series, can be read as a standalone but is more enjoyable if you have been reading the entire series because the friends and relatives appear in most of the series. This story is very dramatic when Guy stalks Sherri and causes irreparable harm to the people in the area. Sherri has always been independent and wants to keep to herself. You'll have to read to see if Sherri needs saving and if Kyle can find her before it is too late. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and can't wait to see what happens next to the Darby family and their friends in Montana!

This is the 3rd book in the Montana Trails series. As with the other books, this is a quick read because you just can’t put it down.

Sherry is not exactly a loner. She has friends, two best friends actually. Sherry just is not into dating. She assumes all men will just end up hurting you so to avoid that pain she avoids men. She spends time with her bugs instead. That was all well and good until she meets Kyle.

Kyle isn’t looking to settle down. He meets Sherry when he protects her from being a victim just like his sister. However he soon finds himself falling head over heals for her.

I enjoyed reading the story about Kyle and Sherry. I couldn’t put the book down wanting to see what happens next. You never know when you’ll find love, you just have to be open to the idea.

I received this book for free in exchange for a fair and honest review. All opinions in this review are 100% my own.

A great addition to the Montana Trails series. The author has a unique way of drawing you into the story and holding you to the very end. The characters have great connections and their interactions are remarkable. Sherri is scared of commitment, Kyle is out for revenge, together they find love thru tragedy! Can't wait for more in this series.

Another great book from this author! This is part of a great series and should be read in order but you can read this as a stand alone, just wouldn't recommend it as this series has been great! This is a hard to put down, fast paced read. The plot and characters are to die for! Love it!
