Had a little good info but most chapters were useless and I just skipped through them. Not worth a re-read.

This book is very science forward with plants I'd never heard of before. DNF.
I was reccomended this book my the Witch of Wonderlust in her video "Non Occult Books That Had an Impact on my Practice" on Youtube - described as light history, & herbal associations and recipes - and while it was a cheap thrift on ThriftBooks, I didn't finish it and don't see myself referencing it later.

For a book written in the 90's, I was happy to see safety information on Essential Oils, safety notes, why "natural" isn't always safe, and acceptance of lots of different kinds of love and kinks.
But everything seems very surface level, there's an entire section on Pheromones' (which aren't even proven to be real, or have real effects on humans), and once it got to the actual plants and herbs, I had literally never heard of any of them or would know how to get access to them affordably.

I started skipping entire chapters, only to get halfway through, feeling unimpressed for my own personal usage, and skimmed the rest of the chapters to realize I didn't want to read the rest. The gems of this book are few and far between, and could probably be found in other sources.

I think if you're looking for a science book, you'll rate this higher.
But if you're looking for something spiritual or "witchy," or even just self-exploration about sex, I'd suggest Sacred Sex: The Magick and Path of the Divine Erotic which has a lot more impactful exercises, healing, and more.
