He obtained his B.Tech (Electronics and Instrumentation Engg.) from National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar and M.Tech (Microelectronics) from University Centre for Inst. & Microelectronics (UCIM), Punjab University, Chandigarh. He taught the B.Tech students at Sant Baba Bhag Singh Institute of Engg. & Tech., which is affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar for two years. He is also pursuing his Ph.D. He is the member of professional bodies i.e., Indian Microelectronics Society, Chandigarh and VLSI Society of India, Bangalore.
