Dolphin Friendly #1

Dolphin Friendly

Rate this book
When Cape Cod innkeeper Maddy Jamison takes in a group of marine biologists called Dolphin Friendly, she has no idea that they - and particularly their handsome leader Brody Davenport - will turn her life upside down. Ever since the deaths of her marine scientist parents, Maddy has hated the ocean that took them away from her, just as she has resented the profession that they loved more than their children. So how could she guess that she'd enjoy sharing her house with a self-destructive catfish named Dusty, a pair of interns obsessed with Latin names, and a bickering couple? And how could she predict that she'd fall for their leader, a man who loves the sea as much as she hates it?

But as she and Brody grow closer, the question remains: Will they be able to find a compromise between land and sea, or will their love sink beneath the weight of their differences?

Jessica S. Andersen is an American writer of mystery and medical romances. She obtained a PhD in Genetics, but when she finally settles on a single career, she will have been many things: a doctor of molecular genetics, a patent agent, a freelance editor, a professional horse trainer and riding coach, a fiance and the proud owner of a pair of corgis. But if you ask her who she is, Jessica will say, "I'm a writer. The rest is all background research."

Jessica lives in a smal farm in eastern Conneticut with her own personal hero, Brian, as well as the corgis, two cats and a handful of young horses, who she claims are investments but never seem to get sold.

A very enjoyable little book i devoured it in a few hours and i really got into the plot and how it was going to end, though it was predictable i did wonder how Brody was going to get what he wanted. Its a shame this book isnt more known about.
