Obedient is the second book that follows website Plunge.xxx, which we were introduced to with Plunge. Bryce Decker was briefly mentioned in book one, as the neighbor who took over for Adam when he found Samantha. But these are little standalone books, so although they are all connected, they don’t yet appear to have to be read in order. Bryce is a constant screw up, in that way that makes you want to be the girl that changes everything for him. He’s never really taken life seriously, partaking in the party lifestyle and paying the bills having sex on camera – he isn’t looking for anything when Charlotte catches his eye.
Charlotte is our straight-laced heroine who after has a heated, flirty exchange with Bryce while sitting in a courtroom decides to take a chance and have him teach her exactly how to please a man. Knowing that her last relationship left her feeling less than worthy she figures that a man like Bryce is just what she needs in order to open up her own sexuality. She just never expected that giving in to his demands would turn from lust into love.
This was a short, steamy read. I don’t mind the insta-love theme – stories such as this really need to come together with speed, so that whole thing doesn’t bother me at all as a reader. There weren’t really things about this that I didn’t like but I didn’t fall in love with it. When I look back at my feelings about book one, I have to say that I did see a lot of positive growth with book two – so that tipped the scales for me on the rating on this one.

Obedient centers around Bryce Decker and Charlotte Matthews! The day they meet there is an instant connection. After getting dumped Charlotte wants to get out and about on the dating scene but her ex boyfriend left her feeling self conscious of her ability to please a man.
She couldn't have met Bryce at a better time.
Bryce and Charlotte come to an agreement that Bryce will teach her the ways to please a man! They grow closer with each 'Lesson' but what happens when Charlotte finds out Bryce has been keeping a secret from her! you'll just have to read to find out!!!
This is a first time read for me by author Heather Stone. I loved obedient the only issue i had...it was to short!!! It left me wanting and needing more.
Heather Stone really knows how to scorch the pages! I love sexy time scenes in books. Sometimes Authors get carried away and there is to much sexy time but Heather Stone added just the right amount and i bet that was hard to do because lets face it Obedient is based on sex...sex...and um....SEX!
I loved Charlotte's character! she was shy one minute and then the next she was acting all dominate and shocking the hell out of Bryce!
I literally read this book in two hours. I started reading at 1 am and finished it around 2:30 am. It was a short read but oh so worth it!! Loved the characters...loved the story line...I will definitely be reading more by Heather Stone in the future.

I've already said it once - but I mean it. SIGN ME UP for ALL THINGS HEATHER STONE. Obedient is a perfect fit for the already PERFECT Brighten Sisters Series. I loved the mix between the innocent teacher and dominant bad boy! The bad boy is "teaching" the lesson! The lesson is obedience & desire! Also, #SFH is a new hash tag I like to think I came up with (I'm sure I didn't) for all Heather Stone writes....because everything is absolutely so fucking hot! BUY OBEDIENT. READ OBEDIENT. Fan self!

3.25 stars. Short, sexy and smutty. Not a lot of depth to the characters or story, so I didn't feel a big connection to them, but I liked it anyway.

I was gifted this book for my honest opinion and here it is OMG I love it I started it tonight about 8:30 and just got done with it at 10:33 I couldn't put it down it was so good the charcters take charge from the start and keep you on the edge of your seat. Heather Stone has done it again with this book I love her writing style . I gave this book five stars if you haven't read it you are missing out on a great book.

Whenever you read a Heather Stone novella you can be sure of two things, she quick to get to the story and it’s SMOKING HOT!!! Ms Stone has a gift of packing a great story into a small package and I just love it!! There is no need to invest hours and hours, I can read in just under an hour and get a great love story! Oh and let’s not forget it’s a HOT love story!! Sizzling, smoking, hot!! Go check this one out, definitely a solid 4 star read.
Bryce is always into trouble for something and now back in court awaiting his case to be called. Next to him he notices an uptight, prim and proper girl that catches his eye. He can tell she is nervous and figures this is her first time in court so he strikes up conversation with her. He wanted to get a rouse out of her and he was spot on with his assumption of her.
Charlotte has never got a ticket or citation in her life. Her first speeding ticket lands her in court and she is nothing but a bundle of nerves. She’s a simple girl who doesn’t party, doesn’t drink, and after having her heart broken has sworn off men. She’s a school teacher and that is what her focus is. But when the sexy stranger in court starts talking to her and provoking her, it does something to her she has never experienced before. Just one interaction has her blushing and getting turned on. She is bewildered by this and after her case is called, she gets caught in her own dirty thoughts.
Bryce propositions Charlotte to help bring out her inner vixen. He’s a dirty talker and oh man I just loved it!! He gets her to open up to new experiences and try something she would have ever done in her normal life. There is some serious hotness going on with these scenes! But something they never talk about is Bryce’s life. When Charlotte is confronted with his reality how will she react? She finally found someone that makes her feel sexy and now she feels like her world is crumbling down. Can she look past it or be their undoing? You need to read Obedient to find out!! Within the first two chapters, Ms. Stone had me enthralled in her web of innocence, corruption, and heavenly sin. I'm not always a fan of the insta-love/lust aspect of some stories, but I loved this one. The beginning was scorching, when Charlotte and Bryce first meet. I actually loved it all, though I did feel that it started feeling a little too rushed as the book neared the end. I would love to see Ms. Stone write a full length novel someday. I can see she has the talent, the ability, and certainly the imagination. I think more development of the story, the characters, and the conflict would have made this book even better. A definite scorcher that I will read again!

Charlotte is a grade school teacher who has only had one male in her life. He was severely lacking in the sex department, but somehow got her to believe she was the one doing the lacking. After an agreement between the two of them things heated up quickly.
I could not put this book down and actually read it in one setting. It was steamy, almost orgasmic and very fast paced from the very first word. The chemistry between Bryce and Charlotte made me blush. I feel though that the plot of the story was rushed and that we missed out on a lot of detail. I would have loved to seen this as a novel instead of a novela. Heather you have some serious talent. I loved Bryce and Charlotte’s story, but would have loved to have more of them. Can’t wait to read more of your books.

Obedient is about Bryce & Charlotte. This story ties in with both Plunge and Plow, also from Heather Stone. The story opens with Bryce waiting for his turn in front of the judge in court. While he's waiting, Charlotte sits down next to him and the chemistry is evident almost immediately. Charlotte is a kindergarten teacher and is in court to deal with her first traffic ticket. Bryce starts whispering dirty things to Charlotte and though she tries to hide it, she is turned on by his words.
I have loved every one of Heather Stone's books but could not pick a favorite. Get them all! They are all quick, hot, sexy, sweet insta-love stories that will leave you smiling (and hopefully hot and bothered...wink, wink).

Insta-love is too quick for me, but I did enjoy this story. We start with bad boy Bryce Decker meeting good girl Charlotte Matthews in court having a flirtatious exchange. He's in court for possession of a controlled substance and she's in for a speeding ticket. Even though they're opposites Bryce does something to her and she begins thinking about this mysterious bad boy.
This chance encounter leads to some fun encounters...pick up Obedient and read the steamy bits :) It's a quick read, and there's enough there that I wished it was extended into a book so I could get more backstory and more details of their growing relationship.

I love Heather Stone's work. I came across Plunge awhile back and I love a quick, hot read as much as the next reader. There is a time and a place for everything so every now and a again, I want to read something direct and to the point.
Heather Stone has just about cornered the market on that. With this series, I would compare her to Alexa Riley. With a little less taboo. This was hot and fast and I loved the juxtaposition of tame but sexy school teacher and bad boy. Bryce and Charlotte's realtionship went from hot to scorching and reminded me very quickly why I love Heather Stone's work!

Obedient was an amazing insta love light bdsm novella. Super hot and a little drama. Charlotte and Bryce's story is definitely one of a kind. Bad boy meets teacher wanting teacher. I have read all of Heather Stones books and each one is amazing and they keep getting better!! This book had everything in one short read and that is what I love. I feel like I get everything I want in her books and that is amazing talent if someone can do all that in a short novella! You do not have to read the other novellas in order to read this book but I recommend you do because it makes the story that much more meaningful!

Not Much Plunge
Bryce might work for Plunge, but the website and the "work," is minimally involved in his story with Charlotte. He's sort of a bad boy, but this story is so short that neither main character gets much development. Charlotte is the quintessential schoolteacher, complete with brown hair in a bun. Not much stands out about this instalove tale, and random mid-paragraph breaks, misused words, and one missing section of a sentence (at 9%) mar the brief experience.

He's sort of a bad boy, but this story is so short that neither main character gets much development. Charlotte is the quintessential schoolteacher, complete with brown hair in a bun. Not much stands out about this instalove tale, and random mid-paragraph breaks, misused words, and one missing section of a sentence (at 9%) mar the brief experience.

Hot and steaming. Loved it. This had awesome characters great secx scenes and wonderful story. Fast read but packed. With instant love hot scenes, great chemistry and secrets. Great book highly recommend it.

If you've read Plunge xxx by Heather Stone, you met Bryce when Adam "changed" careers. Or, if you read Plow, Bryce is Brian's brother. I like the characters moving within these series. Bryce and Charlotte's story is fast paced, sexy, and a really fun read, you will enjoy them all!!
