I was so over the moon to get to read an ARC of this book, to say the least!

Tyler Higgins is none too happy to find out Emma Michaels will be his boss on a dream internship with a marketing company he’s been dreaming of wowing. He was supposed to intern with a man, not a woman. But as time goes on, will this hell-on-heels lady set his mind a blazing with desire? Or will both of them meet their match?

Oh my gosh! I’m in love with this book! Never has office sexual tension and misguided assumptions been so sweet! I absolutely thought I’d dislike Tyler, but I warmed up to him a lot. Emma comes off as a cold fish initially, but fear not, this lady has her quirks and I could really relate to her. Both were steaming with sexiness and the tension was sizzling! I wondered how these two conflicting personalities would get together, but the romance and infatuation came on naturally and I enjoyed their heated conversations and antics.

Hot, yummy summer read to keep you fanning yourself and wanting more! Definitely a fun romance to add to your ‘must get this when it comes out’ list.

Wow! Emily has done it again! She totally grabbed my attention with this one, I couldn't put this one down if I tried, I just needed to know what was happening next. The humor in this story was epic! I love reading Emily Walkers books there always seems to be one smart ass sarcastic person involved that I just love, in His Boss Lady it was Tyler. Not only was her one of the main characters but he was the HOT love interest with no filter. And of course Emma is a stubborn, set in her ways workaholic. That doesn't mean she doesn't have needs and inst fierce & Sexy. However, these two are so power hungry they cant decide whether to love each other or kill one another. This book was phenomenal, I would def recommend this book to everyone. I loved it! If you need a book to just sit back and enjoy to have a good laugh with this is definitely one to pick up.

Emily Walker has out done herself again! His Boss Lady is totally different than what Emily normally writes. This is one BOOK that once you pick it up it's going to be hard to put down. If you want a book to make you laugh and put a smile on your face this is the one.

a simple read

The story itself was ok, however it could have had more details and more depth to the characters. You can tell the author tried to give the characters depth, but just fell through from being a truly captivating story. Some parts are rushed and could have been explained more. Otherwise an easy read.

Emma is a serious work horse on the fast track to success. Tyler is her new intern. When they first meet, there are immediate sparks and tension. Tyler is chauvinistic and arrogant, so I immediately disliked him. I also didn't like the way that he sabotages, undercuts and questions her work. I couldn't see that happening in a real workplace. There is a lot of inappropriate conversation going on in this office, I would think someone would be getting fired or sued for sexual harassment. This story reads to me like a movie. I could totally imagine this quirky rom com on the big screen. The funniest line is: “You there, come over here and get whipped by my wife.” That made me laugh out loud. 4 stars.

His Boss Lady by Emily Walker was a fast paced and good read book. You have Emma who is all about showing you that a woman can do things just as well if not better than men. Tyler is a alpha male who knows what he is doing and there is nothing that he can learn from a female at least that is what he thinks. I loved seeing the lessons that these two learned from one another and how they finally let their walls down to see what is in front of them. This book was pretty funny in how they would try and one up the other you have got to read and see all that they did this book made me laugh at quite a few points. 5 star read

I loved this book. Emily has a way with writing characters and putting them in situations that are authentic and in some cases hilarious. The banter between Emily and Tyler is both funny and painful, it is a joy to watch unfold. Great book!
