I knew she was destined to be mine the first time I laid eyes on her. Cliché I know, but it was the truth. Numerous obstacles kept us apart, but I vowed to find a way around them, finally claiming her once and for all.
Consequences be damned.
Stone Crosswell, VP of the Knights Corruption MC, was known for his notoriously hot temper. While it served him well when dealing with their sworn enemy, the Savage Reapers, it damaged him in the eyes of the one woman who would redefine his very existence.
His attraction toward her was fierce, his innate need to possess her consuming his every thought.
But would his way of life eventually destroy her?
Adelaide Reins was doing well for herself. Acquiring a coveted nursing position at the prestigious St. Joseph’s Hospital, she thought her life was going exactly as planned. Until the fateful day she was summoned to her uncle’s club, instantly drawn to the one man who would complicate her carefully orchestrated world.
When a cruel twist of fate rears its ugly head, will Stone and Adelaide’s worlds be ripped apart? Or will they overcome insurmountable odds, defying fate and finding their happily ever after?
I'm an indie author who grew up with a love of reading and a very active imagination, never putting pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard until 2013.
I typically write romantic suspense, as I love stories with some twists and turns. I also love my HEA, although the road to get there is quite the journey.
I looked at 'Marek' several times but some of the reviews put me off so I decided to skip it, I looked at 'Stone' and all the reviews were really good so I decided to give it a try. Now I'm not sure if it's because I didn't read the previous book but I didn't like this anywhere near as much as most other reviewers. I really liked Stone, temper and all but Addy just annoyed me constantly, I tried really hard to like her, I mean I felt so sorry for her at times but I still couldn't bring myself to like her. I mean she won't have a relationship with the man she loves because her uncle won't like it, she's a grown supposedly intelligent woman so I didn't buy it at all. And it's a personal pet hate of mine when characters withhold information, just tell them. I think if you like the characters and this series then you'll probably love this book, it's an emotional read as this couple battle so much.
I didn't hate the book but I didn't love it. It was okay. It was one of those stories that started out very strong but totally fizzled out halfway through the book. The characters were written well, but the story itself was dragged out way too much to the point that I was skipping pages to look for some action.
This book was much better than its predecessor. Stone/Lincoln and Addie had really good chemistry and I liked the way their relationship unfolded. Always love a good forbidden romance.
cancer + pregnancy + Headstrong heroine + Hero possessive and jealous + faithful during separation + without cheating + without ow involved + love without limits + I liked the couple + still hunting Club's enemies + better than the first book
The story continues, this time with Adelaide and Stone as the frontrunners. We still see quite a bit of Sully and Marek though, as some of the plotlines from book one are carried over. The drama is still ongoing, so we have yet to see what will happen with the cartel and the Savage Reapers. While I loved Stone and Adelaide's story, I kept waiting for the drama to come to a head, and it never did. I thrive on drama, so I was a bit disappointed. However, I LOVED Stone, and his support of Adelaide and everything she was going through made me love him even more. Their actually love story and relationship wrapped up beautifully in this book. I'm really looking forward to Jagger's book which is up next, and I'm hoping there is a Tripp book in the near future.
This was a quick and easy mc club read. If Cancer is a trigger for you be warned. Although it is a HEA.
Stone falls for the nurse one of his club brothers brings in to help care for a brother that was shot and dropped at their gate in the first book. Although, another brother makes it clear that his niece is off limits things just continue to happen between Stone and the hot nurse Adelaide. Stone is the VP of the club and is know for not only his temper but for not feeling pain. When Stone finally has an accident they both give in to their lust and he claims her. Soon after she finds out she is pregnant. Her uncle doesn't accept that the VP crossed the line and actually shoots Stone! Let the fun begin! You'll have to read to find out what happens to our newest couple in the Knights Corruption MC.
I wanted to like this one but Stones OTT alpha/possessiveness just got old by the end of the book. I’ve added Jaggers book to my to read list…I liked his character in book 1.

Ok... let me start by saying that the cover of this book his hot as heck!!!!! I must have flipped back to the cover 20 times while reading it just to remind myself of his hotness
I really loved Adelaide in book one and even more as we really got to know her in book two. Of course, who wouldn't love Stone??? Smoking hot, sweet and all alpha male! Their heart-wrenching story of finding there way to love and then fighting for life really moved me. I struggled a bit with the ending because it felt a bit anti-climatic for me.
BXTCHES Gotta Warn: I need to make sure that you BXTCHES hear me loud and clear, STONE IS NOT A STAND ALONE NOVEL! While I'm always an advocate of reading any series in the order in which they were written, I'm even more so for those series that involve MC's, BUT, for this particular series, I cannot emphasize this enough. This series starts with Marek (book #1), and that book focuses on Marek and Sully, but the MC storyline in that book carries through to this book and I promise there is no way you can skip over Marek and still have an understanding of the MC part of the storyline. Will you still enjoy Stone? Yes, you most likely will, but where is the fun in reading a MC book if you can't follow the crime and grit of the story? And since I have finished Stone and have moved into Jagger, I can say with certainty that the grit continues into book #3.
Stone will be brought to us through the POV's of both Stone and Addy.
Because I try to be a kind BXTCH (when I can) and because I also realize that some of you will start with Stone, skipping right over Marek, regardless of any advice I throw your way. . .I'll try to catch you up. In book #1, Marek (President), Stone (VP), and the Knights Corruption MC raided the Savage Reapers MC and took Sully, who happens to be the presidents daughter. Now, in most MC's that would be it. . .the Knights Corruption would be dead where they stood, but in this case, Sully being kidnapped was life changing. She had been raped many times by her father, then when her dad hands her over to another club member, she was also abused many times by his hands. Even though Sully has been beaten, raped, and torn down emotionally, all at the hands of her own club, her story still gets worse. When her dad makes a deal with the cartel, Sully is the gift. So, the kidnapping isn't so much a kidnapping as it was a new chance at life. So, when the Knights Corruption MC begins to work a bit with that cartel, you realize eventually Marek is going to find out that a member of that cartel raped his wife (yes, she does become his wife and if that spoils anything for you. . .too bad, you should've read the first book) and when his book ends and Marek is still in the dark. . .you gotta know it's coming in book #2.
Now, we already know Addy. She's not only the niece of a Knights member (Trigger), but when a nomad member was shot, it was Addy that the club called for help. You could feel the sexual tension between Addy and Stone almost immediately and we are not the only ones that sensed the sparks between the two.
When you join Addy and Stone (past the prologue), they are in the middle of a "relationship". I say "relationship", because everything Addy and Stone is, is on the down low. Addy is the niece of Trigger, which means that Stone is breaking some rules. Not to mention, her hesitancy in becoming involved with the club, even though Stone is doing his best to assure her that the club is leaning a bit more towards the legal life. For Addy, there is still to much that could happen with her being openly involved with the MC.
Now a little background on Addy. She works as a nurse, hence her helping out the club when violence calls. . .speaking of violence, that is another one of the reasons she is so hesitant to make things official with Stone. She lost her mom five years previous to ovarian cancer, so it's just her and her dad. I should probably point out that Trigger is her maternal uncle and the relationship between him and Addy's father is non-existent.
Let's talk about the relationship between Addy and Stone, because that is what is going to make up a shit ton of this book. The chemistry between the two of them is pretty explosive and Addy is pretty good about recognizing that, but she still isn't in a place where she is ready to become his old lady (have I mentioned that enough yet?), which doesn't sit well with Stone. Which coincidentally, he doesn't have to worry about that much longer because his temper is going to do him in.
Moving away from Stone and Addy real quick, because we still have MC problems to discuss. The guys still haven't really felt the ramifications of the Sully kidnapping, so they're still watching their backs. Now, the tension gets kicked way up when Yanez (the one who raped Sully) comes into the clubhouse while Sully is also there, so you can imagine how that scene unfolds. This is where the MC storyline is going to take us during Stone and as much as you're going to want (really bad) for some closure to this particular storyline, it's not gonna happen just yet. . .so, you'll need to stay tuned.
Even though his temper gets Stone in trouble, we all know that in the end Addy and Stone will find their way together, but the journey to get to heart of what they bring. . .is gonna be a bumpy, crazy, twirly (is that a word?), feisty, loving ride. . .so, it's really best if you just sit back and enjoy.
One of the aspects I love about the heart of any MC series is the cast and S. Nelson brings it with the Knights Corruption. Those that we fell in love with during book #1, come back and visit us in book #2. We get to stay connected to Marek and Sully, while still getting to know club members like Jagger and Tripp. The way in which she has written these books and the dialogue between these characters, just flows in the smoothest of ways and leaves you salivating for more.
Let's get to the good stuff. You can't write a MC book and feature a badass Alpha biker and not expect him to work his shit and Stone does just that. But hey, let's give some lovin' to the BXTCH, right? Addy knows her moves and can mattress dance with the best of em'. All in all, if you're looking for some dirty talking, hot and sweaty fucking. . .you will not be disappointed.
Jagger is up next and I'm super excited about his story. The deeper I get into this series, the harder it is to put it down. . .it will give you the gamut. . .it's filled with drama, grit, humor, sex, love. . .just a whole spectrum of emotion. So, I suppose what this BXTCH is trying to say is, if you're looking for a worthy MC series, one that sucks you in and gives you a tiny escape from your crazy days, then dive in, S.Nelson has done the job.
*3.75* **Borrowed from the Kindle Lending Program of Amazon
I would've given this a higher rating because in all honesty, I loved the premise of the story. I also loved both characters, especially Stone. Some readers found him irritating with his OTT J/P madness but that just made him more loveable in my eyes. I know a lot of readers who dig their heroes just like that that also borderlines being psycho-hot! The heroine, some may find her annoying but in real life, I find myself relating to her character. I act like her sometimes! I also like that even if Stone has been controlling and suffocating most of the time, she gives him hell, too.
My only issue in the story is the lack of a bigger/major conflict. Every book in the series ends with a HFN with each couples but the main plot and conflict carries on in the series. I loved how the love story of Addy and Stone was showcased as it develops but it took too much space in the book, making this book conflict-less and *almost* fell flat. Don't get me wrong, reading this book, I've been entertained enough that I almost am shocked when I saw that I've already reached the Epilogue. But that's what bothered me (a little). I was waiting for that one big moment that will shake me and rock my world kind of conflict but sadly, it wasn't in the cards for this book.
However, do not let that tiny issue hinder you from reading this book. The author's style is like serial but with a full-length novel pages. Story flows from book 1 up to the next unlike in other books where book 1 has different conflict than book 2 and so on. This writing style, by the way, is fine with me. The story is well-written. Not trashy and definitely not full of fillers. And entertaining; it matters.
I've started Marek and now finished Stone. I can't wait to start Jagger's story because who doesn't like an underground fighter slash biker to love?
After meeting Stone and Adelaide in Marek the first book of this series, I couldn't wait to jump into their story. I will say these books do need to be read in order to follow the on goings of this club.
Stone is the Knights of Corruption MC's, VP he's broody and often bad tempered at times. The club is still in the process of going legit, it’s a difficult route to take but Marek is determined with the backing of his brothers to make things right.
Adelaide is a nurse and one of the club brothers niece, she's called in to help when one of them needs patching up. Stone has had his eye on the sassy nurse for a while, but her uncle has told all the brothers that Addy is off limits!! But Addy is drawn to Stone just as much as he is to her. Good job Stone doesn't care about her uncles threat because nothing and no one is going to stop him from making her his!
Their emotions and love are tested to their limits in this great rollercoaster ride of an MC series. Bring on book three!
DNF @ 20% 🙈 —I've been wanting to read Stone and Adelaide's story for so long, unfortunately I couldn't get into it as much as I was hoping too. I do plan on giving it another try at a later date, but right now I'm going to have to give it a pass.

Addy's 1st dr visit and how Marek and Sully deal with Sully recognizing Yanez. Also, the abrupt ending , and that full packed epilogue. I also had trouble with all the pain Adelaide was subjected to. I won't spoil the story but she really suffered physically and mentally. Yes she is a strong woman, but my goodness, that was a lot to deal with. Stone was wonderful, but there we times I wanted to see her more vulnerable and really break down, and not be so sure that things would work out. I wanted her to actually need Stone. She showed that side to her father, but not him.
So as I do with most series that I don't read back to back, I re-read Marek first in order to refresh my memory. I hoped that he wouldn't annoy me as much as he did the first time, and even though it was slightly lessened, his traits that drove me to drink were still there. So I was pleasantly surprised while reading Stone to see that a big bad biker man could be somewhat tamed. Well, maybe tamed isn't exactly the right word. He was able to see how he was being slightly irrational and make adjustment accordingly. Granted it wasn't done to the point I would have liked, but it only ended up causing me to love the man more.
If you think you've read a story like this before, you would be wrong. I would have never been able to guess the catalyst between Stone and Addy and it was one heck of a doozy. Even though his jealousy and possessiveness were off the charts crazy at times, it only ended up cementing their relationship the further along the story got. Despite her misgivings, it was those traits, among others, that made her fall helplessly for him in the first place. I loved that they had history, yet she was the one who fought taking it further. I got her reasons, and I hated that she couldn't see for a while that her actions only intensified his. I loved how strong Addy was and how she never backed down. She wasn't afraid to stand her ground when she knew she was in the right and also knew when to back down and concede. They were the perfect match.
When they finally stopped fighting each other and got their stuff together, I loved how in sync they were. I loved that beyond his gruff exterior, Stone was comfortable enough to be vulnerable around her. I love that they were a safe place for the other to land and just how attuned they were to what the other was feeling. They had the comfort level of a couple that had been together many years versus hardly no time at all.
The violence level isn't what it was in the first book but it's just as heartbreaking in subject matter. As the main and sub storylines from the first book are continued to an extent in this one, I highly recommend you read it first. Stone has a unique condition in which he physically cannot feel pain. I came to the conclusion that because of this, his emotional pain was heightened. He felt anger, fear, jealousy, love, and many other emotions in an amplified manner compared to what most others would. I fell in love with him that much harder because of it. Sometimes you have to look beyond what it presented to you to get to the heart of who someone truly is. I couldn't get enough of this man and can't wait to read more as he shows up in future books. Can't wait for the next installment!

So we met Stone in Marek and I couldn't wait to have him on my kindle. I wasn't disappointed, this man delivered and then some. Stone ticks all the right boxes for your typical alpha male and Adelaide was his equal. their relationship was on another level . The one saying that springs to mind whilst reading this story was "Behind every strong many, there is a stronger woman behind him". Expect to sucked in!!!
Stone is Club VP and he will do anything for his brothers, he isn't afraid of stepping up and fighting rivals and His condition of feeling no pain helps him to do that. But there was one thing Stone couldn't do...As much as his brother trigger has warned them all...He couldn't stay away from Adelaide. She was the light in the dark and he knew he had to have her.
For the past year Addy and Stone have been sneaking around, Stone wants to yell it from the roof tops but Addy isn't so sure. She knows what will happen and the fall out could be massive. With Addy's so reluctant Stone's anger and possessiveness go through the roof. The man has always had these issues but when it comes to Addy he has no off switch.
Addy's can only take so much and with tempers breaking she makes the choice to end things, she didn't want to but she sees no other choice. Addy has always been strong and she knows the life the MC lives but her uncle and father have sheltered here as much as possible. Addy finds herself getting some life changing news and she knows that this would break their hearts. With her needing to speak to someone she finds herself turning to Stone, its not that she didn't love him she just couldn't deal with his behaviour.
With things changing between this couple and secrets being shared its not long before Stone makes an announcement but Addy has a bigger one and this is where the explosion goes off!!!
Wow! What a way to start book 2. This is a continuation of a series. In book two, our Main Characters are Stone and Adelaide and this is their story. In book 1, we got to see them interact and how possessive Stone was about her. Now, in book 2, he is super obsessive scary possessive over her and that is because he is in love with her and they were seeing each other. For over a year, Stone and Addy were seeing each other... but no one knew. They kept their relationship a secret and because of that, Stone grew more and more frustrated, and his anger grew at her unwillingness to go public about their relationship until things came to a head with them. Addy herself was angry and frustrated that Stone didn’t trust her judgment and that he couldn’t keep his temper checked. Then when her Unlce Trigger, his MC brother found out they were seeing each other , she knew things were virtually over for them. The tipping point came when Stone let his temper get out of control so Addy had to make a truly heartbreaking decision that causes pain on both sides. She ends up suffering greatly as does Stone and she does her best in keeping away from Stone but in a moment, there is a life and death issue and the only person she can reach out to is Stone. Addy didn’t know who else could protect her and at the same time, her heart and soul were calling out for him. This book has a lot of twists and turns , a lot of mysteries and a lot of action. On top of that, you have the heat, the passion, the kink with Stone and Addy. I loved the true alpha that is Stone ; the feistiness that is Addy. They make a fantastic combo for the mix adds to this story and makes it fantastic. I cannot wait for book 3 and who I believe is the next male up for his own story-- Jagger.
My rating: 4.5 stars **** **I was given an ARC by the author in exchange for an honest review***
In book one: Marek, we got to see Stone's possessiveness of Addy, but no explanation for it. Well now we do.
For over a year, Stone and Addy were seeing each other... but no one knew. Stone's anger and frustration grew at her unwillingness to make what they had public. Addy's frustration grew at Stone's inability to control his temper and his pushing her to be officially his when she could see no future for them, especially once her Uncle Trigger (Stone's MC brother) found out.
When Stone can't control his temper one night.. again, Addy makes a decision that causes both of them heartbreak. She struggles with her decision, and is determined to keep her distance from him, but when some life and death discoveries are made, the only person she can turn to is Stone.
OK, yes I know that sounds very blurby, lol, but I feel that was the best way to say what I wanted without spoilers. I loved Addy, I thought she was a great character and Stone was much more likeable than I found Marek in his book; the chemistry between the pair was spot on. Speaking of Marek, a couple of things that I felt didn't get resolved in his book, were addressed in this one.
I really enjoyed this and will definitely be keeping up with this series. I give Stone 5 stars.
Second in the MC series, I expected a love story with some, at times, uncomfortably violent moments, as that is what the first book in the series delivered. Nope.
Stone surprised me. The story was more about Stone and Addy's relationship. They also dealt with heartbreaking, life-altering surprises, Addy's family's refusal to accept them as a couple and Addy's commitment issues. Stone - he never wavered from what he wanted - Addy. He never stopped coming for her. His absolute devotion was amazing. Addy - she annoyed me at times but given what she was dealing with (no spoilers), I'm going to give her a pass. She was definitely strong and resolute.
The best part, they were sweet together. The spicy times - hot and combustible. Stone is definitely sexy and Addy knows how to handle him.
A good story, it was a tad over-descriptive at times. I like the story to evolve through character development, dialogue....there were a couple of times I skimmed because I felt I was being "told" the story rather than the author trusting I would understand what was happening or the character's feelings.
4 stars. Stone was definitely a good read. The issues with another club and the cartel are not fully resolved. Expect book 3! I believe it will be Jagger's story but I'm thinking I want to know more about mysterious Tripp.

So I have to say I was a little weary going into this book, after reading Marek and Sully's book. I wasn't sure what to expect with Stone. I will say I did really want to read this book though. All I can say is, it's about time with Stone and Adelaide. You could tell there was something with them in Marek and Sully's book.
I loved Stone. Even though he was a moody ar$e most of the time. He was really sweet, caring, and protective with Addy. Though at times protectiveness was a little out of control. Though you can tell how much he cares about his club.
I loved Adelaide or Addy. She was sweet and funny. And she could definitely give back as well as Stone. I really felt for her when she found out she had the same kind of cancer her mother passed from.
This book was much lighter than the first book in this series. There were a few times I kept waiting for something intense to happen and than it didn't. Now don't get me wrong I didn't mind. I loved watching the banter between Stone and Addy.
I'm giving this book 4 stars out of 5!!!!

Finally!!! I couldn't wait to see what was going on with Adelaide (Addy) and Stone from their first interaction that we witnessed in my man Marek's book. We see that they have been having a secret relationship & with Stone being fed up with not going public. Addy not knowing how her uncle was going to take it since it seems he has always told her that in no way shape or form will she mess with any of the guys in the club and vice versa. Too bad that Stone has his sights set on Addy since he first met her and the feelings are mutual. Stone is a hot head and very very protective over what he considers his which leads to a breaking point with Addy. These two have a chemistry that is undeniable and add in something so unexpected and wonderful you have a recipe for the dynamic duo. This book was riveting and will hold your attention from beginning to end and leave you begging for me, I for one am anxiously anticipating the next one.
When I first read Marek, book 1 in the Knights Corruption MC series, it was Stone that really caught my eye. Then S. Nelson released Stone's story and I had it one clicked and pre-ordered faster than you could blink. The opportunity to read Stone and Addy's story has been high on my anticipation meter, the little glimpses and hints that we saw in Marek, not only teased but also tantalised me. Stone might be big, tough and Alpha to his very core however on the inside he is such a sweetheart, Addy certainly got to see the softer side to him. I don't like giving spoilers (if you don't want a brief spoiler turn away now) I have to say even though I understood some of the reasoning behind Addy's actions, I did struggle with understanding why wait so long before allowing Stone to claim her publicly. I am team Stone on that one, in fact if it had been me, I would have been singing it from the mountain tops. Stone's condition also intrigued me, in fact its so unusual I had to google it. Keep them coming S. Nelson I just can't get enough of the boys from Knights Corruption MC.
This is the 2nd book in the Knights of Corruption series by S. Nelson. Yes it can be read as a stand alone, but best if you read Marek first.
Stone is the VP for Knights Corruption and the strong super alpha quiet male type. Adelaide "Addy" is the niece to one of the members of Knights Corruption and a nurse. Being a nurse her uncle Trigger has her help out with some of the guys who have been stabbed, even shot so that they don't have to go to the hospital. While working at the compound, Addy sees Stone and the two are drawn together. As time passes and they try to keep things secret between them as Trigger has made it clear to everyone that Addy is off-limits things happen that force them to either openly admit they are together or go their separate ways.
I loved the chemistry between these two characters and the story was wonderful, different and refreshing in the sense no one is chasing Addy.
