A must read !
Once you start this book you will begin to discover stories
that make you think ,cry, get inspired and most of all want more!

Absolutely a jewel
This author is an automatic read for me. I am blown away by her writing. I normally don't like little novellas/short stories because it just leaves me wanting more and empty. Not so with the ones in this collection. Yes, I wish they were each made into their own full length book. Especially Hollow could be a whole series of full length books. These are beyond describing, I loved reading them. I am in awe of her imagination and unique writing style. Please more!

3 stars. There were too many teaser stories for my liking. Many of these pieces can be read (for free) on Ms. McClendon's website. The stories ranged in length from flash fiction to short stories (none took me an hour to read) but the writing was fairly solid throughout. Not many HEAs if that's a requirement for you, although some of the teasers might have HEA in her other works. I really liked the longest piece, Sweetest Taboo; as a standalone, that would've gotten 4, maybe 4.25 stars.

I am always amazed at how well written Shayne's characters are! I get giddy with anticipation for the full length stories. Can't wait for more!!
