I am not usually surprised with a book by Elle Boon. But, she surprised me with Slater and LeeLee’s story. In a good way.

Slater is pure male, pure wolf and totally hot. He will do whatever it takes to protect his mate, even if she doesn’t know that they are mates. In fact, he’s not really sure what she knows or if she’ll accept him. It will take the Fey to bring her to human form and for him to finally see the woman he loves in something other than her wolf. He’ll sacrifice himself and do whatever it takes to help LeeLee face her past and look forward to their future.

LeeLee knows that Slater is her mate … even if she can’t tell him that. Stuck in her wolf form, she’s at a loss when it comes to Slater. She can’t have him this way and she has no idea how to shift to human. She’s stuck … until he calls upon his pack and finds a way to save her. When she wakes and sees herself for the first time in a very long time, her past starts coming back and she’s reminded of why she kept herself as the wolf. In order to move forward with Slater, she has to face her past and come to terms with finally being loved and wanted by someone.

As for Greta … well, Bless Her Heart. She got what was coming to her and that’s all I’ll say on the matter. The battle may have been fierce but hell has another soul to claim.

I love reading quick, fun paranormal romances. I’m totally into hot shifter guys that are true to their women and know how to love them. But, what I love most is how Elle brings all her character’s, no matter the series, together. She truly brought the Fey front and center in Slater’s Enchanting Mate and brought the Iron Wolves, the Mystic Wolves and the Smokejumpers in as well. Would have loved to see Keanu set that bitch on fire for LeeLee but, he was a little busy. Anyway, Elle knows how to write a story from start to finish. She doesn’t keep you hanging and she thoroughly entertains you. She writes wonderful stories that will always have you going back for more.

Elle Boon has done it again! She's created a story that engages the reader from beginning to end. Slater's Enchantimg Mate starts out at a pulse-pounding pace and doesn't let us until all the mysteries are revealed. The she-wolf of this story is damaged. Not physically, but mentally. After witnessing the horrific devastation of her pack and family, her six year old self shifts into a wolf for the very first time in an effort to save her life. Sadly for LeeLee, 20 years later she's still stuck in her wolf form, having no clue how to change to her human self. That is until Slater enters the picture *cue sighing and swooning*. I adored slater. Yes, he was dominant but he was so gentle with LeeLee that it was heartbreakingly sweet. He wanted to save her, heal her, and love her thoroughly. And let me tell you this: he did all three at an expert level!

I also appreciate how Boon connects her series. There was references to characters in her Smokejumpers series. Although you don't have to read it to understand what's happening in this story, you should because it's another series you will love. Another thing that Boon is exceptionally skilled at is providing teasers about other characters. One that I'm particularly eager to read more about is the powerful fae, Jenna. I just know her story will be explosive.

If you enjoy paranormal romance, Elle Boon is definitely an author to keep on your radar!

LeeLee has been in her wolf form for the last 20 years because she witnessed a horrible event when she was six years old. She did not have a great childhood, her nanny abused her and her parents ignored her. After the tragedy, she ran. Slater has had feelings for LeeLee since he first met her. He tried repeatedly to help her turn back to her human form. With the help of the Fae, LeeLee becomes human again. Slater and LeeLee return to her place of birth to try to solve the events of her past. Along the way, LeeLee finds out her origins and her abilities, the result of the attack on her pack and love.
I enjoyed this book, especially the last few chapters. LeeLee finds the strength to go on even after finding out about her parents and her nanny. She also opens herself up to love with Slater and her duality - shifter and human. I recommend this book.

Learning To Make Babies!

Man none of these Iron Wolves MC books are not no good, they are all awesome! Such a diversity of paranormal Ms. Boon uses, I love that about her series, she doesn't concentrate on one, she throws them all in there, even ones we don't know about and I love that.

LeeLee was so mentally abused as a child that she withdrew into her wolf at a very young age and never shifted back, until Slater and Jenna found her that is. Jenna recognizes something in the mysterious Leelee, she is more than just a werewolf and she needs to discover it for herself. Now that she is human though she only wants the sweet scent and body of her mate surrounding her. The rest can wait for later, after all she's been in her wolf form all her life.

Slater never imagined that he would fall so hard for a she wolf and not a human werewolf, no the wolf version. Something about the red wolf just keeps pulling him towards her and he just can't stay away from her. But when Slater takes one look at the beauty that emerges from the red wolf thanks to the Fae's, he is dumb struck! Whoever did such harm to his mate that would make her retreat like that into her wolf, will pay.

Besides, in the words of The Iron Wolves and Jenna, they have to "Learn How to Make Babies"....LoL

When love does fix it all!!

Leelee doesn't remember much of her life in her human form. She's been in her stuck her wolf form for over twenty years. Leelee is the daughter of the Alpha, almost royalty where she's from but she can't remember much of her past. The past she can remember is enough to give anyone nightmares. After a fire at her best friend's, Cammie and Keanu's, she takes off and runs away from the fire. Slater, Laikyn's cousin (yes, the same Laikyn that is mated to Kellen, the Iron Wolf Alpha) was asked to bring her back. Little did anyone know they would become mates.

Slater enlists Jenna and a few other fey to help heal Leelee. So you Jenna lovers, she's in this book. We get to know the real Slater, not just the tough guy persona. Leelee grows leaps and bounds in this book. She finds out about herself by learning about her past so she and Slater can have a brighter future.

This book has likeable characters and does cross over Mystic Wolves MC series.

Cool concept- but just too short of a book. It needed a longer time frame to unravel.

Also- I didn't get why it was part of the Iron Wolves MC. This should have been like 3.5 story - as a filler. These characters weren't even part of the original series. They came out from two other series. Not loving that either. Yeah I liked seeing kellen and Xan at the very possible end, but still- this should have been either a 3.5 book or in the mystic wolves series.

I'm not sure why this book was included in this series. It seems more characters from the Mystic series are in it, than Iron Wolves. It didn't seem to further the Iron Wolves storyline at all. An even greater amount of inconsistency were found throughout. This story was at odds with itself. Things being known that would never have been known by someone stuck as a wolf for 20 years. Changes to the mate bonding process. Abilities out of nowhere. An enemy battle, with a still unknown enemy. (Who did the Mystic and Iron Wolves fight, while the lead characters handled their bad guys respectively?) I'm super disappointed.

This is the forth book in this series and they need to be read in order. This book takes a bit of side trip compared to the previous books in this series. Slater is Laikyn’s cousin and part of the Mystic Wolves. LeeLee is wounded and has been trapped in her wolf form for 20 years. Slater knows that she is his mate the moment he sees her. LeeLee knows that Slater is her mate but she can’t commit to him when she can’t shift to her human form. The fae help LeeLee change back to her human form. LeeLee witnessed something no one should ever have to witness when she was just a child. Once LeeLee is human again she begins to remember her past and wants to face it and find out what happened. Slater will do whatever he needs to protect his mate and make sure she is happy. Slater and LeeLee will need help to fight what they find when they try to figure out what happened in LeeLee’s past. This book took me a little by surprise because it wasn’t really about someone in the Iron Wolves pack but I loved it. Everyone comes together in this book to help. They are sort of becoming one big pack even if they aren’t all wolves. I get sucked in even further with each book in this series. I can’t wait to read the next one.

I loved this book, mind so far in this series there hasn't been a book that have not fell in love with the characters, just some I love more than others.

This is another awesome read, I was pulled into the story from the middle of the first chapter and stayed there until I had finished every single word that had been written, all the while I had my own little mini movie playing in my head.
Twists, turns and surprises are rife throughout this book. Some surprise s are large, some are small, some you may see coming and others you may not, I tried guessing as to what was going to happen, but gave up as I was no where close.
Emotions can be felt from all the characters concerned, I get that engrossed in the book, that I actually end up going through the emotions with the characters, some times I am actually emtionally drained by the time I have finished the book, which does leave me wondering how the author copes. But I never stops me from reaing the book agian if I have enjoyed it.
This book is slightly shorter than the 3 before it, but that does not make it any less of a book.
I highly recommend this book and this series, I am so looking forward to reading the other books by Elle Boon

SLATER’S ENCHANTING MATE mixes the world of the Mystic Wolves and the Iron Wolves in a perfect blend intrigue. Slater O’Neil didn’t think that he would meet his mate while she was stuck in wolf form. But that is exactly how he was introduced to LeeLee. Calling on the fey, Jenna, Slater asks for help to get LeeLee to change back to human. He didn’t know of LeeLee’s past and when he does find out, he and LeeLee set off to find more about her past. However, the dangers that LeeLee remember from her past and nothing compared to the dangers that follow them in the present.

Hot damn, but this had twists and turns that I did not see coming. I was heartbroken for what LeeLee went through and was amazed at the depths of feelings that Slater has for LeeLee. Danger, intrigue, betrayal, and love sweep through the pages and keep the reader engaged from the beginning to the end of the story. Another awesome edition to the world of the Iron Wolves.

LeeLee is a wolf shifter but has been stuck in her wolf form for twenty some years. She saw her parents killed but her nanny was always mean to her and she shifted at the age of six and escaped the massacre of her pack. She has been living with another pack that took her in. Slater is a wolf shifter and comes upon LeeLee when she is attacked by real wolves. They call a fey they know to help them. They are taken to the fey realm and LeeLee is brought back to her human form. Slater knows she's his mate and wastes no time in claiming her. They go back to where her nightmare started and are in for some major surprises. 
Short. Sexy. Full of suspense and surprises. Wolves, feys, and Love at first sight.

Okay people, put on your combat boots and leather jackets, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride for Slater and LeeLee !! Winning his mate is so much harder when he finds her in wolf form and unable to change back due to a horrid childhood trauma. Slater vows to wait as long as LeeLee needs to claim her, yet as always Fate wants her way and a terror from LeeLee’s past comes front and center, giving neither of them the time they thought they would have, it’s a now or never situation, and even with the Iron Wolves help, it’s not a done deal !! 5⭐️‘s for non-stop action shifter style !!

This will be a bit of a mixed review. While I liked this story, to me it had very little to do with the Iron Wolves and much more to do with the Mystic Wolves. I don't mind cross-over books but I felt there was very little about this book that had anything to do with the Iron Wolves. I did enjoy the interaction with the Fey. I would love to read Jenna's story.

As I said, I liked Slater and LeeLee's story. I loved that LeeLee was so strong once she was able to take her "human" form. Overall, it was a good story.

Interesting read

This book is different from the rest of the series so far. It is loosely linked but has its own setting. The storyline is interesting, but I don't feel that it is as strong as the other books. If the plot had been expanded on, then I feel that it would have rated up with the others. The characters were appealing but again not as developed or had the charisma of the other characters. It was still a good read, and with every series, there are your favourite books and the others that are good as part of the series, but not as well thought of.

absolutely loved the storyline of Slaters book! When Slater meets his mate shes in wolf form unable to change back into human form. She's been stuck in her human form for a very long time but with the help of Jenna, Leelee is finale able to change back into her human form. 

Leelee has known pain after the trauma of her parents being murder Leelee decides she doesn't need a mate.

I loved this book so much, It was a great an emotional read.

Continuation of series. Love this series but this book didn't grab me as all other did. LeeLee has been stuck in wolf form for 20 years when Slater see her and recognizes her as his mate. Next bring in the Fey and bad guys with some twist thrown in with visits from Iron Wolves and Smoke Jumpers and laughs.

Slater has been intrigued by LeeLee for sometime. A beautiful wolf that doesn’t have the power to change into human form. LeeLee has some serious trauma as a child and for twenty years she’s been almost like a pet for a pack that took her in. Slater gets some help from a Frey and after much magic they are able to change her back. Now she needs to know what happened in her past.

Good read

Elle creates such amazing stories and worlds. Leelee had such a sad childhood and heartbreak. Thankfully Slater is there to help her and of course Jenna. Love her so hard
