What an exciting concept: A first CHAPTER book for toddlers. Featuring 10 stories, my favorite title being, "A Very Good Smell."
That story solves a mystery. With a most satisfying ending, too!
I'm impressed at Anne Rockwell's skill here, because she makes it seem like the easiest thing it the world to write beautifully plotted, toddler-simple, tales with a brisk start and a smooth narration, culminating in a totally satisfying ending.
FIVE STARS, plus my admiration.
