[Siren The Lynn Hagen ManLove Erotic Alternative Paranormal Romance, M/M, shape-shifters, HEA] When Demarco discovers that Kade Remus is his mate, it is not a happy moment. He has fought his entire life against his omega status, a status that his brother has tried to shove down Demarco's throat. Demarco is sick of trying to live his life the way everyone expects him to. He feels conflicted and doesn't know which way to turn. Kade agrees to give Demarco the space and time the wolf-shifter needs, but when trouble finds the little omega, Kade puts his foot down. Unfortunately, that only pushes Demarco away. Kade decides that time alone with his mate is what they both need. He takes Demarco to a cabin in an attempt to convince Demarco that being an omega doesn't mean the wolf has to give up who he is. But trouble follows them, and both their lives are in danger when a Hunter tracks them down. ** A Siren Erotic Romance
Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.
You can find her on any given day curled up with her laptop and a cup of hot java, letting the next set of characters tell their story.
This was book 3 in "The Remus Brothers" series. Kade has found his mate turns out its Demarco the omega brother of Wyatt's mate Brone. Turns out Demarco doesn't want a mate so he thinks his brother has filled his head on how an omega should act and think and Demarco doesn't want to give up is independence he wants to spread his wings Kade doesn't want Demarco to give up anything and has agreed to take it slow and date. When Demarco and his roommate Blow go out to a bar they meet up with Blows friends one of them Ryan is getting too close to him and starts hitting on him and when he corners him before Demarco can tell him that he is seeing someone Kade shows up and he is not happy because he thought that Demarco wanted to date others. After they have sex Ryan shows up again after they have sex and Kade claims Demarco Kade beats him up for saying that they could share Demarco turns out Ryan has been hired to kidnap Demarco for Fingers the hyena-shifter so he can be kept as a pet. This book had a lot of action in it Demarco is attacked by a rogue vampire when Kade tells him he didn't want him to go to work he seeks off to the mall with Evan and they hide around the mall. When Demarco returns to his house he is attacked by Ryan who shoots him in the leg with a silver bullet. Turns out Ryan has an uncle who is a hunter and wants all shifters dead. This was a really good book and the sex sense were hot Kade takes Demarco on a vacations to his families cabin where to hyena and the hunter show up and Kade kills the hunter and the hyena doesn't want to start a war with the brothers so he leaves. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
aburrido, plano y repetitivo.
Not convinced that Demarco and Kade's relationship was solid. They needed to spend time together handling the stress of managing daily life with protecting Demarco. They also never set boundaries with Brone. The plot incorporated Maverick and characters from previous series.
Kade is my favorite character of all brothers. He's so patient and respect Demarco's wishes to not treat him like fragile omega. Too bad Demarco is so stubborn and stupid to listen to Kade and somehow makes him end up in bad and dangerous circumstances.
Initially I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy the third book in the Remus Brothers series when I first began reading it. But it took off at a certain point. I like stories involving Omegas fighting for the right to be treated like equals to other paranormals. Not just a mate, someone soft, quiet, and obedient. Well this was that story even though at first it was boring as well as repetitive.
After his Alpha Wolf brother, Brone spent his lifetime telling Demarco how an Omega was supposed to be, the younger Wolf was confused and angry. Why couldn't he just be himself? Not some stereotype. Not some cookie cut out of how an Omega was expected to act.
The constant hammering of old fashioned Wolf pack ideology leave Demarco a defiant mess. Always trying to prove his older brother wrong. Even after he met his big Bear shifter mate, Demarco keeps him at arms length, expecting Kade to clip his wings, just like his brother, Brone had so often preached.
Then the action began and never let up. The reader can't anticipate where the next threat or dangerous situation is going to be. While all this is going on Demarco has to determine if he can trust his mate or will he continued to push him away for the sake of pride and independence.
Of course all these behaviors are driving Remus brother, Kade's natural protective instincts crazy. How can he get his recalcitrant mate to understand and accept the beauty of being an Omega without during one of the scary crises that arise.
If I hadn't realized it in the second book, WYATT; I'd definitely would have by this book, that this series was part of the Brac Pack universe. Old and new enemies arise and are battled. I planned to read something else next, now I'm very curious to see what happens in the fourth book featuring the Remus Brother, HOUND.
This not so bad. Demarco really makes Kade work and show his integrity. I didn't feel quite right with the whole blame Dee's attitude all on Brone, however. Some of the things from Dee's perception makes Brone a total duche bag sounding wolf.
Fingers involvement at the end was a little bit of confusion. His reasoning was just....weird.. for what he decided to do.
But all in all Kade came out smelling like a stand up guy with an omega mate..
This is the story of the third Remus brother finding his mate but the hunters are back as well as rogue vampires, Maverick makes an appearance in this book too
I enjoyed the first two books of the Remus Brothers series and this third book was very entertaining as well. DeMarco is a wolf shifter (omega) who is fighting to keep his independence, basically through most of the story. I loved Kade and the patience he had for DeMarco. Naturally there are hunters in the territory, and honestly, I hate hunters in my paranormal romances. I'd much rather read about enemy demons or vampires or anyone except hunters. There's enough of those in real life. Ugh. However, the story was wonderfully executed and kept me pulled into the plot. They were totally hot together and I also liked Evan. He had a fun and quirky personality (reminded me of Cecil from the Brac Pack) :D This was, in my opinion, a very delightful and captivating read. I'm on to the fourth book in the series. :)
