Rate this book
When Sebastian is chosen as the High Priest's apprentice at the Temple of Ora, everyone's shocked, for he's a bit of a rebel and delights in causing mayhem. Sebastian discovers that as apprentice, he can have anything he wants: cream cakes, training sessions with Golden United, even zip-wires and donkeys to liven up Temple ceremonies.

But then there are the strange explosions, falling objects, whispered threats. Sebastian realizes that the Temple, with its all-seeing golden statue, holds many secrets. Can he ignore it all? Or should Sebastian and his pet rat Gerald try to out-fox the most powerful mob in the city?

I have finished reading it, and I rate it 4/5. The middle to the end was very interesting but the beginning was dull. It was long but worth it. I recommend this book, but maybe not all of you will like it.

I really enjoyed there isn't much to highlight about it. It was just a book where every page you turned you always had something to think about would reccomend

I got this from Jill at the Bologna Book Fair as well, but this definitely wasn't as good as the previous one she gave me, unfortunately. The book is a curious imitation of Peter Pan, but nowhere near as good. The story read like a novel written by a housewife with nothing better to do - it's not that it's really bad, it was just poor quality. The plot was silly, the novel boring, the universe unbelievable and weird. I cannot understand that OUP agreed to publish this! Or that the author has had three books published already. I didn't enjoy it, and I wouldn't recommend it.

I got this in a bookfair in my school hoping that it would be great. I was disappointed when i finished it because I really didn't enjoy it. I found it very boring and I didn't want to finish it but did anyway. Before I got it I read the blurb it sounded very good but it was nothing near to that.It wan't the worst book I ever read but it sounded good, which it wasn't, so that really let me down. I rate this book 1/5 and i sadly do not recommend it.
