I have been writing since I was eight. I started out with poetry. Eventually, I moved on to short fantasy stories, then eventually books. I have always loved books, whether I was reading them or writing them. Books were always a perfect escape from reality. When I was growing up, I admired authors and I imagined I would eventually be one.
The primary genre I write is fantasy romance. I love creating tough heroines and sexy vampires, werewolves, Fae, and every other supernatural creature I can come up with. I also write new adult romance when I am in the right mood. I want my readers to get the same joy from reading my stories that I do when I read some of my favorite authors.

Oh my Jelly Beans!!! I love Lillian Raynes, what a girl! When you hear her back story about why she's the best Vampire Hunter you understand, but when the truce is brought it I felt sorry for her. I kinda guess that the vampire she was fighting with in the ally was Aubrey but when it was confirmed I was chuffed! I loved when Lillian beat Damon and then give the battle up to Luca so he would become Master Hunter. What made me cringe was the attack on Lily when she went to the vampire bar to get Tanner back. What I love most is the relationship between Lily and Aubrey, how she wants to feel what she feels and how she doesn't. The end shocked me when Colin took her to the warehouse to find out her parents we're the leaders of a group and then Colin tells her about Aubrey signing the deal means signing his death warrant and how she reacts to it... Goosebumps!!!!

Book one of the Lillian Rayne series, started off at a slower pace than I'm used to for a paranormal read. However, as I read further into the story, I became hooked into the mysterious world of vampires, vampire hunters, and lycanthropes. And although, the text wasn't divided into chapters, the author was good about starting a new scene on a new page.

Lillian Rayne, is a vampire hunter; one of the best of her kind. She held the record for the most kills. Even though, Lillian allowed her target the opportunity to defend themselves instead of stabbing them in the back. An admirable quality in my book.
I take strongly to heroines, so it was easy to appreciate her character.

The book had many supporting characters, which I loved. My favorite out of all of them was Aubrey. A vampire. I'm obsessed with vampires so naturally, I was rooting for Lillian to fall for Aubrey, because I found their dynamic intriguing (you'll have to read the book to find out).

This story had twist and turns - some I didn't anticipate, and the ending shocked me. I want to read the rest of the series to find out how the story unfolds.

*** I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I was not persuaded by the author or anyone involved with this book.***

Let me start off by saying wow!!! Loved it !!! This is my first introduction into the wonderful world of Ella Price, and believe me it will not be my last!!!!! This book gives you a wonderful twist to the hunter/vampire relationships! It also leaves you guessing if a hunter could really fall for their prey. The main characters of the story are Lillian the vampire hunter and Aubrey the vampire. A truce is called where there is no longer need for hunters. Lillian is confused at the change and is unsure she will be able to work along side those she has hunted before. Then she meets Aubrey and begins to realize not all vampires are bad. They fell in love when they weren't supposed to, but its not all sugarplums and faeries they have some past prejudices to get over along the way. If you want to read a great paranormal book that has action, adventure and romance this is the book for you !!!!!!!

This is the first book that I have read by Ella Price but it won't be my last. I absolutely loved book one in The Lillian Rayne series. The main characters of the story are Lillian (a vampire hunter) and Aubrey (a vampire). They fell in love when they weren't supposed to. If you want to read a great paranormal book that has action, adventure and a moving love story then you need to read this book. I can't wait to see where the story takes me next. I just got book 2 because I'm dying to know more.

It was fast and lacked time and details that would otherwise make me connect with the characters. Lillian likes a lot of different guys in a short amount of time. I would have liked to see a stronger connection between her and the vampire Aubrey. The rebellion also didn't give me any back story. A rebellion for what? Why? I will read the next book just to see her evolve as a character.

This is a great short read. It gives you a look into this paranormal world and keeps you wanting more. Is a truce ever the right answer? Isn't there always someone or something that will get in way? I can't wait to read the next book. Will the hunter ever let her walls down?

So, I thought this was pretty good, but he hardly qualifies as a "novel". It's got to be less than a hundred pages long. I think I read it in less than 30 minutes.

I liked it, had me intrigued throughout.

I'm looking forward to reading other books in the series. I wish I had not waited so long to read this book.

I started this with the expectation that it would be a short, quick read and nothing special. As I got into the book I was pleasantly surprised by the twists and turns. The story gradually develops and becomes more well-rounded as it unfolds. The characters start to grow and as their lives become entwined you start to question everything you thought was true. A really cleverly put together storyline and I will be looking out for book 2.
