Another quick and sexy addition to the Red Stone Security series, in the form of Tegan O’Kelly and Aaron Fitzpatrick’s story. Katie mixed it up with this couple in that Aaron is a single father, and Dillon was a welcome addition to the story.

The action kicks off pretty quickly in Dangerous Protector, and just as Tegan thought she was finally safe enough to settle down in Miami after being on the run for two years, all her hopes come to nothing the day her car explodes.

She’d woken up something inside him and he wasn’t going to run from it.

Aaron sees the explosion as it happens, and having the fear of losing Tegan put front and center, finally pushes him to acknowledge that the woman from the coffee shop who he has tried to keep at arm’s length, means more to him than he originally wanted to admit to. Their chemistry burns hot and the connection between them grows quickly, especially as she ends up moving into his house for her protection, and the pressure of the circumstances that put her there in the first place means the feelings developing between them blossom very quickly.

Katie, seems to grab her readers with her stories straight from the first chapter, I think that is why all of her books are so easy to read. Dangerous Protector was pretty much read in one sitting, due to the fact it was relatively short, but once you are on the ride of one of her stories, it’s always pretty hard to get off again until to have reached the conclusion.

"You’re the best thing to happen to us."

Hmmm.... same plot. Same story. I feel like reading the same book over and over again. I got bored to be honest.

Dangerous Protector is the second book I read in this series. It is short romance story. What really pitty is the lack of originality.
Not going to pick up another book in this series.

The writing is OK. The rest is just.... meh

Another great Red Stone book. Tegan's situation is different from any of the other ones in this series which I like. Aaron was a great guy and an amazing dad. He was, of course, as hot as all the previous boys in Stone Security. Great epilogue.

Tegan and Aaron + Dillion and Kali = adorableness!
After living on the run and trying to escape her past, Tegan has finally settled down in a town full of friends and one particular hottie, single dad, Aaron. When her past comes back with a vengeance, Tegan and Aaron find themselves in close quarters with no chance of denying their mutual attraction any longer. With Christmas just around the corner and a killer on the loose, these two might just be lucky enough to ring in the new year together.
What I liked:
Another feel good Christmas-y read. I loved Tegan and Aaron. I loved how sweet Dillion and Kali were, I really liked the positive characters that made up an extended list of family and friends that helped flesh out these characters. The smexy times were pretty hot and the insta-love was lightening fast but I was okay with that. Even the cheesy killers/villains of the story worked out in the end, Lol!

Katie Reus writes the best Alpha Hero's! This story of Tegan and Aaron is a shorter story that focuses on Aaron taking complete control to protect Tegan from a Mob boss after her for false reasons.

Tegan has been running for two years only stopping when she hears the mob boss has been killed. Aaron a single dad who works at Red Stone security has been visiting the coffee shop Tegan works at and witnesses her car being blown up. Up to that point Aaron was grudgingly trying to stay away from Tegan. His first marriage left him bitter and he doesn't want a relationship but Tegan is the first woman to get under his skin in five years. Once he witnesses her almost death, he realizes what a fool he's been.

You can't help but fall for Aaron. He's the strong, silent type that grunts for answers. The way he protects Tegan will make any woman fall hard for him. Throw in his 5 year old son and you just want to swoon! I loved it! Katie Reus is an Alpha genius!

Dangerous Protector is book fourteen in the Red Stone Security Series and can be read as a stand-alone.
Just when Tegan believed she was finally safe after running from a gangster for the last two years, someone bombed her car and almost killed her.
Aaron is a single father and former marine who works for Red Stone Security now. He regularly visits the bake shop where Tegan works and witnesses how she almost gets blown up.
Tegan and Aaron have been attracted to each other for a while but Aaron had always tried to stay away from Tegan. His first wife walked out on him and his little son and Aaron is reluctant to start a new relationship.
Since her attacker had also broken into Tegan’s apartment and she has nowhere else to go Aaron takes her to his place and convinces her to stay with him. Soon sparks fly and neither Aaron nor Tegan can ignore their feelings for each other any longer.
Tegan was a strong and smart heroine and Aaron a sweet and protective hero and a great single dad to his cute five-year old son Dillon. And Kali was adorable – oh I loved that dog!
Another suspenseful and steamy novel by Katie Reus! I thoroughly enjoyed Tegan and Aaron’s story just like every other book I’ve read in this series so far. Highly recommended!

Although I have a few Katie Reuss books in my TBR pile, I had never read one before I snagged an arc of Dangerous Protector. I think I’m going to have to find time to read the other ones I have now. With a hot, protective hero, a cute as a button little boy named Dillon, and an adorable dog, this book hit all my sweet book buttons, plus it came with a healthy dose of sexiness to cut all that sugar with.

Tegan’s brother fell in with people he shouldn’t have and disappeared along with some high dollar merchandise belonging to a mobster. The mobster, Enzo, thinks Tegan has his stuff, so she has been on the run from him for over 2 years until he was supposedly killed. Thinking she was safe, she found a new home and started living again. Her car blowing up was the wake-up call that she wasn’t safe at all. I loved Tegan. She was smart and unbelievably strong, keeping it together under some pretty horrid circumstances. She was also super nice, more worried about others than herself as her story progressed.

Aaron, the hero, gave me a Captain America vibe. He was former military with the bearing to go with it, a good guy persona, plus he’d suffered a heartbreak because of his now deceased ex. Raising his son on his own, he was the perfect example of a great hero, and his sexy good looks were just the icing on that superhero cake. Although attracted to Tegan, he kept his distance because of his past but her car blowing up in front of him changed that. From that point on he was all in, wanting to protect her and solve the mystery of who wanted her dead.

I enjoyed getting to know some of the other characters and wanting to know their stories. They weren’t in your face, just kind of in the background so I had no problems with feeling like I was missing anything by not having read the first 13(!!) books in the series. Still, this intrigued me enough to want to backtrack and read the rest.

The resolution to the mystery ended up feeling messy to me. Some of the reasoning behind who did what and when just didn’t add up to me. The sweetness of the story had me more than willing to overlook this. Now I just have to figure out how to find the time to have a Katie Reuss read-a-thon since the ones I have are now at the top of my TBR pile.

What I Struggled With:

1. The reasons why Tegan was targeted.
2. Enzo’s sheer stupidity.

What I Loved:

1. The low angst aspects of the plot.
2. Tegan’s strength of character.
3. Dillon – he was adorable.
4. How Tegan got Kali. I smiled every time it was brought up.

I wish we had gotten to see more of their HEA but it was an enjoyable read. These Red Stone Security books all have the same formula so this wasn't anything new but I always appreciated a good, safe read. I loved that the H hadn't been with anyone in 5 years! It was refreshing from those manwhore heros. I also wish we had gotten to see more of the son.

REVIEW

Aaron always comes off as untouchable when he comes into the shop where Tegan works. She thinks he is beyond sexy but arrogant. She however does adore his son and his mom. After having your car explode in front of your work place what do you do?
Well for starters you let the man whom you thought was untouchable protect you but at what cost?
Tegan wanted to let her worries go away while staying at Aaron's but then things take a dangerous twist and she must go on the run yet again for the second time in her life.
Can Aaron keep her safe?
And just when you think she is safe well think again. This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire read.

Another smashing hit story in this fantastic series. We get just the right amount of suspense and sizzling romance.

I was gifted this book for my honest review.

This was okay, not great. It started out with a lot of promise, but the characters were not well developed, and the love scenes included the word "clit" a lot. Too much.

I like character-driven suspense. This was heavy on the plot line...but low on tension. So, not a great combination for me.

Grade: C

This was my first book by this author--I haven't read other books in the series, so maybe that makes a difference.

*2.75 FORGETTABLE STARS*

This was an utterly forgettable and equally short book.
I read this just yesterday and wanted to write my review today, only to realize I didn't recall a single thing that happened.
I recall liking it, but I definitely wasn't blown away. Because it was so short, everything felt rushed.

Another quick, fantastic & sensual read in the Red Stone Security Series with this entry being “Dangerous Protector”. The MC is Tegan O’Kelly and Aaron Fitzpatrick and their love story is emotional and action packed with enough sexual heat to rival Miami’s summers. Tegan has been running for her life for two years only stopping when she hears that the mob boss responsible has been” killed”. She starts living her life again and ends up meeting Aaron , a single father and handsome guy who works for Red Stone . One morning he is there when the shop explodes and that is when things take a surreal and dangerous turn. Aaron has pretty much up to this point treated Tegan not so nicely but when this happens , he comes to realize its time to put his claim on her and let this little miss know she is his. Aaron had let his previous relationship define other relationships and he was trying to do that with Tegan and now he wanted to fix that and also find out who was trying to kill her.

It was amazing to see the change in Aaron –like night and day. He definitely went into alpha mode to protect his woman – Poor Tegan, she didnt know what hit her. She just knew she found her place in the sun, where she felt safe and loved finally for once in a long time. Tegan was a sweet woman who had been through so much and yet was still a fighter. Then you have Aaron, who is a single father and a cop-he is a born protector and an alpha male. I adore the way he protects Tegan and his sweet little boy. He makes sure they are both safe while he hunts down the threat to his lady love. The twists and turns are fast and furious in this story which is what make this one of top favorites. You will find all of the books in this series are fantastic but this is ne of the best . I cannot wait to read the next partaking in this series by Ms. Reus.

Another great addition to the Red Stone Security series!

Aaron knows that Tegan is trouble but he can’t resist being around her. No matter their attraction, Aaron is not selfish and he would never hurt his son or Tegan by pursuing something more when it is obvious that Tegan has her own secrets. Tegan is sure that she has escaped the people that are hunting her – how could she not be when their leader is presumed dead.

When her car explodes mere feet away from her, Tegan starts questioning the information she has been given. So, as she is about to run once again, to protect the people she has come to care about, Aaron is there and unwilling to let her out of his sight until the danger has passed. Despite their scorching chemistry, could Tegan place Aaron and even worse his young son in danger?

This is the 14th book in the series and I really can’t believe how fast the series has developed. Dangerous Protector started off really great. We got to know more about our protagonists and their pasts and I also found it really sweet that the danger Tegan faces has brought them together instead of separating them.

Dangerous Protector was a fabulous addition to the series and even though I really liked Tegan and Aaron, I wish there were more scenes with Dillon, Aaron’s young son. I hope you see more of Callan, Aaron’s brother and Kimmy, Tegan’s boss.

I loved this book. It was exciting and action packed with the cherry on top being some romance.

Tegan has moved around for two years, running for her life. After the man who is after her died she finally feels safe enough to find a home, a job, and friends. There is a man, Aaron, who she likes but he is always grumpy with her. That is until they realize she is really not safe at all.

When Aaron sees her car explode and he go flying something changes for him and he cannot keep the protective side in him, nor his feelings inside any longer.

This books gets really good. They have to navigate a way to keep her safe that she feels okay with. Because she's been running that's her first instinct and he isn't having it. She doesn't want to bring trouble to his door at all but especially since he has a son.

This is a pretty crazy ride. The guy isn't dead. But he's not the one to blow up her car. You'll have to read it for yourself to get more! You'll like it.

Tegan thought she was finally safe in Miami. With friends filling her life she thought she had put the Mob hunting her firmly in the rearview mirror!

Aaron is a single father, working for Red Stone. He has taken to frequenting Tegan's little cafe and when he witnesses her car blow up, he immediately puts Red Stone on the case. Try as he might to tell himself that he is just doing what anyone with his skillset would do, he grudgingly has to admit that Tegan has sparked the fire in his libido. He thought he was done with long term relationships after the disaster that was his marriage.

Aaron is tall, strong, silently gruff with most folk except his son. Tegan is sweet but wary of people due to her past. These two are just crying out for a HEA! Oh, and Kali, the dog will make you feel all the warm and fuzzies!

REVIEW: DANGEROUS PROTECTOR is the fourteenth installment in Katie Reus’s contemporary, adult RED STONE SECURITY (RSS) romantic, suspense series focusing on the men and women who work for RSS. This is RSS agent, former Ranger, and single father Aaron Fitzpatrick, and web designer Tegan O’Kelly’s story line. DANGEROUS PROTECTOR can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty.

Told from several third person perspectives DANGEROUS PROTECTOR follows Tegan O’Kelly on the run. From Chicago and everywhere in between Tegan has been running from the mob. Accused of stealing millions of dollars in diamond,s our heroine believed she was safe when news came that the person hunting her down had been killed in an horrific accident. Fast forward to present day, where Tegan begins to settle into the Miami life, only to be blindsided when she is targeted once again. Enter former Ranger and RSS security agent Aaron Fitzpatrick, the man she has dreamed about since they first met. What ensues is the building relationship between two people who have danced around one another for several months, and the search for the people responsible for the threats against Tegan’s life.

Aaron is a bit of a brooder; a man burned by a previous relationship; a single father who has found himself attracted to Tegan O’Kelly. Keeping Tegan safe and protected finds our hero in the perfect position to get to know the woman who has starred in his nightly fantasies. The $ex scenes are intimate and sexy.

We are introduced to Aaron’s son Dillon- a little boy of five who believes his daddy has found a new love.

The world building continues to focus on the criminal element; the security firm known for their extra protection; and the men and women you will grow to love.

DANGEROUS PROTECTOR is a suspense filled story of mystery and romance. The premise is engaging; the characters are inspiring; the romance is passionate and heartwarming. Katie Reus add another wonderful and enthralling installment to her fabulous Red Stone Security romantic suspense series.

Just when she thought she was safe…

This is the fourteenth book in the Red Stone Security series that can be read as a stand-alone.

After two years on the run from a mobster, learning of his death, Tegan O’Kelly can breathe again. She settles down in Miami and begins the process of living a life outside of the shadows, now working and interacting with people, able to make friends. After eight months in town shes no longer in a state of constant fear until one morning outside her part-time job her car is bombed as she approaches it to retrieve a sweater. Who is after her now is a mystery the authorities will have to unravel but this time she’s not inclined to run and with the man she’s been attracted to and eyed for months finally paying her attention she does have motivation to stay until the danger to others becomes a concern.

An employee of Redstone Security and a single father, Aaron Fitzpatrick has eyed the lovely Tegan for months but has been reticent about making a move until she’s almost killed in front of him, reminded that life is too short to waste, with his protective instincts now on high, with or without Redstone’s help he’ll keep Tegan safe and get to know her better. But he has his own baggage about relationships to contend with and a five year old son whose emotional well-being depends on him.

I like a strong heroine and Tegan is not just that but smart. In this day and age of technology it’s not easy to go off the grid and remain so yet she did. Her determination to survive was something Aaron and this reader admired about her. Aaron is a sweet, protective hero and a loving father to his adorable son. The personal issues they had to deal with for their pairing to succeed were relatable and understandable, I like that there was no real lack of communication between them. The relationship did seem to move rather quickly to more but it had been brewing for months just needing a catalyst to set things in motion. The epilogue was adorable. As always in this series there are villains to contend with and a suspenseful plot with a number of twists thrown in to add to the reading enjoyment.

This is another installation of the Red Stone Security series.

Somebody is trying to kill Tegan. A car bomb explodes outside a business close to where she works. Thinking that the mob boss who was hunting her for the last two years is dead, she has no idea who would have called out a hit on her.

Aaron is a single dad and works for the Red Stone Security company. He has some feelings for her that he keeps buried and gives her the impression that he is grumpy. He acts more like he just tolerates her rather than actually likes her. He is taken by her smile and her attitude. He happens to have just left the shop where she works when the bomb goes off. She hits the concrete pretty hard and since he is a security guy and a former Marine, he knows what to do to help her.

The story has gripping action, a great plot, excellent writing, and characters who are believable. It’s a short read (I read it in just a few hours) and it isn’t necessary to read any of the previous books in the series. I like that about this series. Yes, a few characters show up from other books but they are in and out. You won’t be lost if you don’t know them.

Great read!

Short and fast, 'Dangerous Protector' sucks you back into the world of Red Security quickly as Katie Reus wastes no time and no punches with Teagan O'Kelly and Aaron Fitzpatrick, setting up their acquaintance, history and relationship with a few well-written paragraphs straight in opening chapters. Throw in some danger and the hesitant man suddenly serves into action to protect the woman he's had his eye on for months.

Most of the Red Stone Security series deals with an uncomplicated conflict - with suspense and danger thrown in - and how a pairing is birthed as a result of it. This is no different, which makes every book a standalone, even if I can't quite recall what happened in the previous books and that isn't a bad thing since it doesn't depend on an ongoing plotline at all. There are some parts of the story which fell too easily into the Alpha (and grumpy) hero and the damsel in distress stereotypes (complete with weeping and clinging) but I found myself comfortable enough to ignore those clichés as the story steamrolled its way to a steamy end.

As the 14th book in a popular running series, I can't imagine what it must be like to think of new and creative storylines. DANGEROUS PROTECTOR does have elements of classic Katie Reus, but the book falls flat for me. I feel that there is a lot of repetition in the book - too many mentions of how Teagan escaped her former stalker. Also, I did not find Aaron interesting or really likable. I think he is needlessly over protective and bossy. I do see a growing trend toward aggressiveness by the heroes in the last few books. I wonder if that will continue. If so, I'd like to see a more character development so that it can give us a fuller understanding of why they are so over the top alpha.

This was a pretty quick read... possibly too quick because I felt that there wasn’t enough story to build the characters, which meant that it felt like there wasn’t much chemistry between the two leads. The hitman storyline was good, but there was a plot element that really didn’t work for me. A small spoiler here....

They knew Enzo had no reason to blow up her car, but when he was arrested, they all just went on their merry way without a thought about WHO actually did blow up her car, or the fact that she was still a target.

So, I want to give this a higher score than 3 stars because I enjoy Reus’ writing, but that hole just prevents a better rating.

Title: Dangerous Protector

Series: Red Stone Security Series Book #14
Author: Katie Reus

Genre: Romance

Blurb: She thought she was finally safe…

After two years of running Tegan O’Kelly could finally stop when the deadly gangster after her died. Eight months ago she put down roots in sunny Miami. For the first time in years she has friends, a job she likes and she can think about the future, not just surviving to the next day. When her car is bombed in broad daylight, she decides to stand her ground instead of running from her faceless enemy.

But a deadly enemy has her in his crosshairs…

Single father Aaron Fitzpatrick knew Tegan was trouble from the moment he laid eyes on her. Sexy trouble wrapped up in a petite, dynamite package he fantasizes about kissing far too often. So far he’s been able to keep his distance, but when he witnesses her car explode—with her close by—something protective erupts inside him. After his wife left him and their son five years ago, he’s stayed away from relationships and women, but he can’t keep his distance from Tegan. It’s clear she’s in danger and the more he learns about her, the more he knows he has to stand beside her and fight the danger hunting her.

Favorite quotes: “Listen, the past few months I might have been kinda…grumpy.”

“Now’s not a good time. I get it, but….I’m interested. And I’m not going anywhere.”

“This thing I feel for you…I’ve never felt like this about anyone, Tegan.”

Thoughts: I’ve read a number of books in the Red Stone Security series…though I may have missed one or two. By far, this one is my favorite so far. This one drew you in a little bit more than prior ones and I enjoyed the added addition of a child. Being a single dad, Aaron was just a different character, and the fact that their romance included concern for the little boy’s emotions was a plus for me. The chemistry between Tegan and Aaron really pulled at me and gave me that connection to the story and the characters, and the HEA ending was a clincher! Loved it!

In Dangerous Protector the heroine, Tegan O’Kelly, after two years of living in fear of the retribution a Chicago mobster, has finally stopped running and felt safe enough to settle in Miami after learning of his death. She’s working in a coffee shop frequented by Red Stone Security. One morning one of their operatives - Aaron Fitzpatrick, an ex-marine and single father - gets more than he bargained for when, on a coffee run, he gets caught up in an explosion when a bomb planted in Tegan’s car goes off early. Just when she thought she was safe has her past caught up with her? But her enemy is supposed to be dead isn’t he? Aaron immediately steps in to protect Tegan but how can he do that and protect his heart and that of his son at the same time especially as the more he learns about Tegan the more he comes to love her.

This is a quick read but the action doesn’t let up for a minute. The characters are well developed. I loved the fact that Aaron and Tegan didn’t jump into bed at the first chance they got, although there were a few steamy encounters between them, but that we got to see their relationship develop gradually. This book is part a series but can be read as stand-alone as even though some of the previous characters appear there are no spoilers relating to previous books.

Another great read by Reus and the Red Stone Security team. In this book we have Tegan and Aaron. Aaron has been dancing around his feelings for Tegan, after his ex-wife abandons him after giving birth to their son. For the last 5 year, Aaron's main focus has been raising his son, no romantic involvement. When Tegan comes to Miami he is instantly attracted to her. After being on the run the last 2 years, Tegan finally can rest and hopefully have some roots in Miami. After a near death car bomb explosion. Tegan is being protected by Aaron and they both admit their feelings for each other. Some action and intense sex scenes, Tegan and Aaron find their HEA. 4 stars.

Aaron has been trying to deny his attraction to Teagan until her car blows up in front of him. His protective instincts go into gear and he is determined to keep her safe. Teagan had been on the run for 2 years from a man convinced she had something of his. Teagan stops running when she hears he is dead. Now someone is after her again, but who?

This is novella so it is a fast read. The book has a good plot with both suspense and romance. This book is part of the Red Stone Security series but could easily be read as a stand alone. Thank you to net galley for a copy.

A fabulous, action-packed romantic thriller!!!!

"I'm not going anywhere..."

DANGEROUS PROTECTOR by Katie Reus is the fourteenth book in her fabulous action-packed Red Stone Security series. This series has wholly wowed me with every thrilling installment and DANGEROUS PROTECTOR is no exception. This book kept me up into the wee hours of the morning as there was no way I could put it down and go to sleep until I'd read all the way through to the end!

This is the story of Tegan O’Kelly and single father Aaron Fitzpatrick. They were altogether realistic and the chemistry between them was hot. Supporting characters included Aaron's sweet young son, his feisty mom and Tegan's smart dog, who she'd stolen from a gangster!

As the story opens, it is almost Christmas. Tegan is finally feeling safe enough to drop her guard after having been on the run for two years because the mob boss who had been hunting her is dead. She's making friends and has a job that she enjoys. Then, when she clicks her key fob to unlock her car parked on the busy street outside of where she works, it blows up. Obviously, Tegan is still being targeted by someone, but she is clueless as to who would have attempted to put a hit on her.

Aaron is a handsome guy who works for Red Stone Security. Since his idiot of an ex-wife left him and signed over all her rights to their child, he hasn't been interested in another woman... until Tegan. Up till this point, he's buried his strong attraction to her giving Tegan the impression that he's extremely grumpy. But after witnessing her car explode, knowing that she could have been in it and that he could have lost her forever, his world tilts on its axis, bringing his alpha protective mode to the fore.

It isn't necessary to read any of the previous books to fully enjoy DANGEROUS PROTECTOR. Each and every one of the books in this series stand well on their own, if that is your preference. That said, there are interconnected characters and it is an additional treat to catch up with favorite characters from the previous books in each new installment.

Following please find a few of my favorite quotes from this read:

"I should have tried getting blown up months ago if that's what it takes to get you to be nice to me."
---
"I want to taste all of you. Shove that pretty dress up to your waist and bury my face between your legs. I want to make you come so hard you can barely walk afterward."
---
He paused and looked up at her with the gleam of a predator in his gaze. She shivered at the intensity, more than happy to be his prey.
---
"This thing I feel for you... I've never felt like this about anyone, Tegan."

Katie is one of my favorite authors. I fervently hope Katie has a never-ending supply of Redstone Security books up her sleeve because each one has been sooooo good! This story has gripping action, a solid plot, and genuine characters who will pull at your heartstrings. I highly recommend DANGEROUS PROTECTOR to anyone who enjoys highly emotional, sexy romantic suspense!

Katie Reus has a recipe for romance in this series where the main ingredients are always an alpha protective good guy hero, a perfect for him leading lady, a dash of danger, and a posse of military trained personal security buddies to back them up so they can defeat the bad guys.

As book 14, Dangerous Protector proves this recipe works time and time again. With a tweak here and there, we get served up a new scenario with a similar theme that never fails to give us plenty of sizzling chemistry, steamy scenes, dangerous drama, and a HEA.

This go around Tegan, the heroine, has been on the run trying to stay out of range and off the radar of a mobster who has some unfinished business he wants to wrap up in a very permanent kind of way. Since moving to Miami eight months ago, she has caught the eye and attention of Aaron, our reluctant at first to make a move hero. When clearly marked as a target, he quickly steps in to protect Tegan, and the rest you’ll have to read for yourself, folks. Except for the car bombing mentioned in the synopsis, I didn't find this one particularly overly nail biting like some of the other books. I almost lowered my rating by one star because of it. As far as the danger, it was almost kind of humdrum.

Just know this author always gives us sweetness along with a heaping side dish of naughtiness to heat up the storyline.

Feel free to read these books a la carte, as each one is a stand-alone but part of the same series.

Title: Dangerous Protector, Series: Red Stone Security (Book 14), Author: Katie Reus, Pages: 250, stand-alone but connected to a series, alpha protective good guy hero, sweet, damsel in distress heroine, some very graphic smex scenes, both celibate a long time, not a manho, romance safe, divorced hero has a 5 year old son.
