***PLEASE NOTICE: This book is NOT considered a standalone. You must first read Book 1 ‘The Arrangement’ in the ‘Pleasing the Manwhore’ duology.

NOTE TO READERS: For audiences who enjoy the Fifty Shades/alpha billionaire fantasy. This M/f romance contains an age difference—a younger woman who is involved with a much OLDER, JEALOUS and CONTROLLING man. If elements of stalking, spankings, and submission/domination themes are unappealing to you, then you will need to move on.

Synopsis:

His rules were simple, and my heart was supposed to be safe after the orgasms were over and the blinds had been raised.

I was wrong.

I thought running would make this indescribable pain go away.

Wrong again.

Starting my life over in a different place was supposed to make me forget him, but the hold he had on me was inescapable.

Insidious.

All consuming.

Sullivan Cooper seduced his way into my heart and mind; binding me to him forever.

No, it wasn’t enough that he had to break me and take all I had...

He came back for more, and I found myself having to make the most important decision of my life.

Bound Forever is a great sequel to The Arrangement. It's even steamier and the connection between Taffi and Sullivan cements itself even further. It picks up right where The Arrangement left off. Taffi's back "home," but living in a condo belonging to Sullivan. I have to admit this bugged me. I wanted Taffi to stand on her own more, but I can understand that she didn't feel as if she had a choice but to accept Sullivan's help and financial assistance. She's determined to better her life, so she goes to trade school and ends up with a job as an Admin at an auto parts manufacturer. She's lonely and misses Sullivan like crazy, but she knows he can never be hers, so she makes friends and even tries to date, which doesn't end very successfully for her, but it does give her a new friend in Winston, a hot lawyer who feels more for her than she does for him.

But, what she doesn't know that in the 11 months that they've been apart, Sullivan has been working on himself, facing his demons, and coming to important realizations about himself and his feelings. Now, he just has to go and get his woman! Cue the hot, possessive alpha that he was in The Arrangement. Only, he's even more possessive and even more controlling, yet he's much more vulnerable and it's to Taffi's credit that she doesn't play on this vulnerability too much. I'm not sure if I would have been able to resist toying with him more than she did, because when I'm hurt (scorned) I'm afraid I turn a little bit evil.

The cliffhanger in Bound Forever is worse than the one at the end of The Arrangement because I wasn't really expecting it. Now, I'm impatiently and eagerly awaiting the 3rd and hopefully final, installment of Taffi and Sullivan's story!

Eh, this one was just okay. This is supposed to be a duology (according to Book #1's page), but maybe the author didn't have enough content written for a full book yet and decided to release this novella instead. So now it's actually a trilogy. So if you're going to read Book 2 thinking you'll finally get the HEA and it all wrapped up in a bow, think again. That's honestly the most disappointing thing about this book. I read it thinking it wouldn't end in yet another cliffhanger, and although the ending is okay, it leaves A LOT open with nothing really resolved other than them getting back together. But the bonus scene from Book 3 really shows you that there will be even more unresolved issues in the 3rd book. Again, very disappointing.

The other reason why I disliked this book was because Sullivan had to do next to no groveling to win Taffi back. He showed up 10 months later, said he had changed and she took him back. And even after months of therapy, he still said he was struggling with the whole commitment thing, yet a few chapters later (and what seemed like just a week or so after he said he was struggling), he's magically cured of his commitment phobia? Actions speak louder than words and he had yet to prove himself in my opinion, even though he was working his way there. But he certainly hadn't proved himself enough for Taffi to full on commit to him.

This book brings back some hated characters from Book 1 and they're just as bad in this book. It helps add some depth to an otherwise boring 2nd book. The sex scenes were hot to a point, but still, just okay. I honestly enjoyed the bonus scene from Book 3 more than the whole Book 2. It seemed to thicken the plot a bit more and provide something intriguing to look forward to.

Jenna Fox did it again with the second installment of Pleasing The Manwhore. Sullivan is at again going after what he wants and that is Taffi. When he finds her at a gala with another man all bets are off. Will Sullivan win her back or will she turn him down? To find out you need to read this book!!

The sequel to the fiery first book, The Arrangement this book had me reading well into the wee hours of the morning. Just as hot as the first book in the series I found myself further ensconced into the sensual, sexual world of Taffy and Sullivan. A steamy sequel to be sure and at the end I wanted more. The author's vivid descriptions will keep you hanging on her every word anxiously awaiting the next spanking, the next level of the explosive relationship between Taffy and Sullivan. This is what a dom/sub relationship should be like and the author captures it perfectly. Great read and I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys this genre! Get it now you won't be disappointed!
