Omg who knew this book will end like this too much darma
Darius is in Las Vegas to play professional basketball his life is slowly spiralling out of control. He discovered the team's owner Kent Carmichael has been talking advantage stealing money from the players to support his lavish lifestyle. Phaedra is still trying to hold onto Darius and has lied and cheat to get her way. Gemini is still determined to find out what happened to Darrius why he cut off his family and friends. Darius is in a web of deceit and lies and not sure who he can trust. He goes off on Kent Carmichael in front team members accusing allegations him steal from the players. He didn't have any evidence are proof except what's he saw what was on his laptop. He also found an folder with Phaedra name on with payments for her high maintenance lifestyle. Darius stop taking the drug. Kent Carmichael threaten Phaedra and wanted to knew why Darius wasn't happy he got his goon to rough her up to get Darius to bend to his way of thinking. Kent Carmichael knew he had Darius in a rock in a hard place he was forced him to beat the opposite team .

My review
I really enjoyed this one. I started reading the series a few days ago and I am hooked. I can't seem to stop. What a merzmorizing and wonderful story. The characters and real, the story is well written and the betrayal and diabolical characteristics of the characters make you want to keep reading. It's a must read for anyone looking for anything other than ordinary.

This book was written well and had good flow chapter to chapter. Basketball star Darius is growing dissatisfied with his career after wanting it all his life. His concessions are now coming back to haunt him. Desperately missing Gemini, he is starting to ask questions and is getting in hot water with Kent Carmicheal the team owner.
I found myself skipping through some of this story, I found the characters mean and the lengths they were going to, were just not what I like to read about in a story. Regardless, this author has created an error free, editing wise story, and I congratulate her maturation as an author.

Fascinating book, I enjoyed this book immensely. I am impressed with the Arthurs ability to create scenarios that are a little far fetched, but doable if a person is desperate enough and have to means to follow through. I am eager to read part III and see how Darius and Gemini end up, after she discovered what her cousin and team owner did. Great read.

The storyline was okay, but so many twist and turns it got confusing. The timeline of the story doesn't sound plausible. I was given an ARC copy of this book for an honest review. The left me wanting it over with.
