Vervain is one of the most common herbs in the American South...so why is it that a plant that grows like a weed is so hard to find in Mystic Falls? The Salvatore brothers must be involved.

I quite enjoyed reading this story with the Salvatore brothers, as I do miss watching The Vampire Diaries since it ended. I loved damon's part and his lines. But I hope the other characters do come up in the other comics.
Read this in bits and pieces on Comixology, but it comes across a lot better as a whole package in one book. It's piecemeal online, but this is a big comic, about thirty pages.
During the war a witch named Julian has the key to banish vervain from Mystic Falls. He has to have vampire blood for his spell, and he gets the Salvatore brothers to agree to help him with the spell. But it has to be renewed every so often. In modern times, Damon meets with Julian to renew the spell, but decides to go back on the deal because it is no longer useful to the vampires, since even if vervain won't grow in Mystic Falls, it can be got anywhere else.
There is a cool magical fight, and double cross after double cross. The dialogue is very funny in part especially from Damon, who is super snarky. I got a big kick out of this story.
This was a pretty funny comic. Damon had a lot of good one liners in it.I think it's pretty a interesting idea they had when they thought of turning this into a comic. I also love how they used color in the comics.
