Stupendous book
Mix of romance espionage fighting and action. Must read for any fans of Reacher Child etc. One of the best books I read in a long yomry

Gripping story line
Gripping story line with lots of action. Some of it was repeatable from the first series I’ve ear but I got over that.

“In the Name of the Queen” eBook was published in 2016 and was written by John MacRae. Mr. MacRae has published seven novels.
I received a galley of this novel for review through https://www.netgalley.com. I categorize this novel as ‘R’ because it contains scenes of Violence, Mature Language and Mature situations. The story is set mostly in London and Cairo. The primary character is British SAS Captain Mike Farrah.
Farrah, because of his Arabic heritage, is recruited for an elaborate intelligence operation. He is to become a rich young man from Lebanon, mix with other wealthy Arabs, and get close to the beautiful young Alia bind Said. Said is the only daughter of Said al-Salah, prominent in al-Qaeda and their principal finance man.
Farrah is trained, tested in London, then sent to Cairo. He is successful with the impersonation but there are unforeseen complications - Mossad has found out about his undercover assignment and he is falling for the beautiful Said woman. Farrah must handle more than one life threatening situation, as well as deal with the limited, and possibly inaccurate, information he is being supplied with.
I enjoyed the 15 hours I spent reading this 486 page modern Spy Thriller. While this is a ‘James Bond’ like story, Farrah is not written as a ‘James Bond’ clone. The recruitment and training was interesting. As was Farrah’s forays into high society. The story had its plot twists. I am hoping that there will be further 'Farrah' novels in the future. I give this novel a 4.5 (rounded up to a 5) out of 5.

This is a fairly standard Action / Thriller which did nothing to really excite me.
