A bit disjointed and vague

Our heroine has intense sex dreams. She goes off to college and discovers her roommate does, too, of the same weird kind. But there's never any explanation as to why Anna and Kat have been subjected to the nightly orgy or what the beings who are sexually torturing them are. Some explanation would be helpful. The book ends on a cliffhanger.

The dreams were weird but hot. This read left a lot of questions about the dreams, Conner and the other strangers, the disappearance of Kat, and the blue tattoo. I find it a bit confusing with the last dream of Kat in which she surrendered herself. She didn't even question it if it was just a dream. Even if it wasn't, it's just ridiculous why she agreed without second thoughts. The ending was bit surprising, it seemed like Anna's mother knows what's really going on with her daughter.

This read was ok but the whole length of this read was mostly about those weird sexy dreams that eventually bored me. This would be much more interesting if there's at least a slight background about Conner and the strangers. This is a book 1 of the series so maybe the book 2 will be a lot more better.

Surrender to the nightmare by Patrick is definitely an erotic adventure. There are three main characters whose paths intertwine, all filled with lust. There is also a legend told in two different ways to explain this lust and blue flames, though red ones are bad. If you want a feel-good story, and two women commingling, with echoes of fairies and magic, then this book is for you.

second try

I read the first book in this series and wanted to see were this was going. I was disappointed with the girls being separated. Also the sexual torture is not the fun kind. I could not finish it.

Eh.

I felt letdown after reading this book. It started out decently enough but the whole thing just felt rushed. There is definitely promise in this plot, just felt like there could have been more.

Good.

I enjoyed the concept of this book. However it was slightly jumpy and cut off in an awkward place for the sequel.
