Life might be good now, but that’s all about to come to an end soon, and what then?
Alex has had a turbulent few months, with a bashing, abusive parents, getting used to his new life with a boyfriend and living with said boyfriend. He could do without the best friend who doesn’t like him—or maybe he does?
But life’s about to become even more turbulent. The last semester of his education is well underway and it’s time to figure out what he’s supposed to do next. Only Alex doesn’t know what he wants to do with his life.
Andreas has always known what he wants to do: the Police Academy. But first he might have to do an obligatory year in the army. This means he has to move away from Alex for a whole year, with only brief visits back home.
Can a newfound relationship survive the trials lying ahead? Can Alex survive what’s lying ahead of him?
I'm loving getting to know their stories going forward. I want to know more though. How they get through the rest of the year and then even further on in Oslo. I also want to know about Glenn Sarah and Peter too.
Time marches on and graduation approaches. The traditions celebrated in Norway as students finish secondary school are incredible! So are the myriad of emotions experienced as Marcus continues to attack the main character and decisions regarding their futures need to be made I can't wait to learn more about Ben and Glenn. Plus I'm sure there is a story for Leo!
I loved this book I loved the fact that it has people with issues problems and still finding love, and how the handle it in a relationship. I also enjoyed the love that was throughout the story. Thanks 😊 looking forward to read more of your books
These two are definitely growing on me. They really are just perfect together. Andreas is so sweet with Alex and Alex realizing his life is worth living.
What can I say? Despite all the editing issues, I do like these characters. Alex is young and so is the story, but I want to see them get to HEA. This book had more issues with verb tense and word use than the previous, so that's a bummer. I'd hoped it would get better. I also feel a bit of lack of depth with Andreas and generally the relationship that I'd like to see more on page with. It still feels more about Alex and his journey than much to do with who they are together.
I'm probably curious enough to keep reading, but I can't say I'd recommend these too strongly to anyone else.
