Claim Me Cowbear - Liv Brywood
If you haven't started reading the Cowbear collection from Liv, this is a great one to start with, even though I would recommend you start with the first in the series, as each are individual and complete, but there's lots of background in the previous episodes. In this book, Liv introduces us to Sasha, an artist working in a clay medium, who seems to have lost her mojo as far as her sculptures go. She's in a situation that if she doesn't find it soon, she stands to loose everything. Trying to find inspiration wherever possible, she signs up for an artist retreat at the Curvy Bear Ranch and B&B, hoping the week-long session will allow her to find a muse of some sort and give her art the jump-start it needs. Jack is full of life with lots of wonderlust in his bones. Being the sole survivor of a plane crash over a decade ago, loosing his brother in that same crash, and having the rest of his family blame him for his loss, he quit his day job and started travelling the world, working at numerous different jobs along the way. He's found, not only a passion for metal sculpting, but a talent for it too! Something has led him to the retreat...could it be fate? All he knows is as soon as his bear set eyes on the beautiful, curvy Sasha, he claims she's their mate. But could he possibly ever settle down? And even more, does he deserve to find a mate and settle down? Lots going on in this book, and it's definitely worth the read. Love this series and looking forward to the next one.

Lion's Halloween Baby - Scarlett Grove
Another outstanding short tale by Ms. Grove, this tale, full of spooks and goblins, witches and lions, will have you laughing and cooing all at the same time. Geneva has recently lost her mother, the matriach of a powerful witch's coven, and the rest of the members are pushing her to take her position as their leader, but she's not truly sure that she's capable, or ready, for this giant change in her life. Right now, all she can allow herself to think about is completing the annual ritual happening that evening, on all Hallows eve, and hope that her mothers' spirit will come through and tell her what to do. Rowan, a lion shifter recently out of the military, and after a life changing occurance, has been riding his motorcycle aimlessly, trying to figure out what it is he will do with the rest of his life. Of course there were some stories that I loved more than others. But at this price, you are getting one heck of a bargain for this many stories in one spot. Plus you may get a chance to sample a new to you author that you wouldn’t have known of, or thought to try before.

From Shifters to Vampires, to Ghostly Spirits to… well, you get the idea. Shifters in the Shadows is packed with good stuff. Stories that will touch your heart, tickle your laughter trigger and maybe even tease a tear out of you. Without a doubt you’re going to find sizzling sexy times.

I really enjoyed these stories and I’m betting you’d enjoy them as well. Yes, they are short novellas. Putting this many stories in one collection, you have to expect that. I enjoyed myself, found a couple new to me authors to go check out and was completely entertained. Check it out for yourself.

Only read for Caim Me Cowboy by Liz Brywood
Curvy Ranch B&B series.
This book is about jack and Sacha both book in as customers for a artist retreat.
Sacha is a artist struggling to make her next piece with only one week till her buyer wants it she under pressure and has artist block.
Jack is a mental sculpture artist that using welding tools to make his pieces. After been in a near fatal plane accident where he's only one who survived he lives everyday like his last.
Both Hh are grizzly bear shifter and have a spark very quickly but Sacha doesn't want to commit when she knows jack isn't a forever guy and jack doesn't believe he's the forever mate and white picket fence sort of guy.
Really loved that the characters this time were guest and not family to the owners of the B&B.
My only issue was the sudden change to Jack's mind with regards to Sacha.
Otherwise really enjoyed the whole series. Looking forward to more

This is a very short, quick read about Megan and Nate. Megan is being hounding by Goblins, so much so that she can't sleep and is on high alert. Nate is an angel, who was protecting Megan, but after she kissed him, he disappeared on Megan because he thinks Heaven will frown on any type of relationship between Megan and him, but when Goblins attack, Nate tries his best to protect Megan, but he is severely injured. Megan needs to find a way to help heal Nate, so she needs to go to somewhere dangerous. So, as I said this is really short, but it is a complete story, and it is very sweet, and I love the scenario where someone tries to resist how they feel about someone, but they can't. Plus, I love stories about angel! Also, the sex scenes were really great! Definitely hot and spicy! I enjoyed this story and the writing, so I am definitely looking forward to reading more by Elianne Adams!

SHIFTERS IN THE SHADOWS box set
Great value for money. 17 books from good authors, some of whom are ones I read all the time. One of the books is not a totally complete story and you will need to read the next book to find out what happens.
LIV BRYWOOD – CLAIM ME COWBOY
This was a good read and I enjoyed it. Liked the characters we met and it was a good storyline, just found the ending didn't run smoothly for me, seemed a bit disjointed.
SCARLETT GROVE – THE LION’S HALLOWEEN BABY
Short, good story that lightly touches on Ms Groves Rescue Bears series but is not really part of it.
Just found the epilogue tried to cram in too much information that really did not need to be included.
Interesting dating service, spirit of her dead mother sends her out to find her mate.
ANYA NOWLAN – THE DARKEST DRAGON
A very enjoyable read that had a good believable story and nice characters but in first person POV which I dislike.
No silly angst or baddies, just two people meeting and clicking. A nice change of pace.
Sabrina is a reporter who has lost a bet and has to spend the night in a haunted mansion. She hears noises and whilst exploring finds Donovan guarding his hoard in dragon form.
You will have to read the story to find out what happens.
OLIVIA ARRAN - HER DRAGON PROTECTOR
Really enjoyed this story and loved how it played out.
Both Trent and Astrid were wonderful characters each willing to do whatever needed to be done to protect their true mate.
Loved when Astrid’s dragon started talking to her and her first attempt at flying was cute.
J.K. HARPER – HUNTER’S MOON
What a wonderful short enjoyable read bringing in a new shifter clan to mix/join with the Black Mesa Wolves we love.
Liked both Abby and Quentin. Not much interaction with the Black Mesa Pack except for Maddy and Sean and Alpha Channing.
KIT FAWKES – HELL OR HIGH WATER
Naiya and Bach meet at a party and pretty much go straight to bed for sex. Having sex with someone you have just met is not something I like but seems common nowadays.
Apart from that I liked this story especially the vengeance part that Bach dished out to all those horrible people. Justice was served.
Naiya spent her spare time healing the downtrodden which was wonderful but I found Naiya a bit immature in her behaviour and thinking. Bach told her the truth and said he would explain everything and Naiya basically stomped her foot and said she didn’t want to see Bach anymore before she knew the facts.
Naiya’s sister basically sets her straight and then she realises she loves him and wants him back.
Apart from the childishness of Naiya towards the end I liked the story.
JACQUELINE SWEET – LET THE BODICE HIT THE FLOOR
Interesting story that though set in Bearfield had few known characters in it.
Was the Raven Queen up to her tricks or did they steal from her.
Thought this was going the way of denial in regards to what she was feeling but then it smoothed out.
CYNTHIA FOX – THE VAMPIRE WORE STILETTOS - Ends in an incomplete story.
We sort of get a HEA but you will need to read the next book to find out what happens next.
A really good story that I was getting into but it just stopped. It is part of or the start of a serial. I just think the bit about them being a vampire and wolf shifter mates was just dropped into the story then side-tracked a bit in all the excitement. Never really dealt with.
J.M. KLAIRE – A GHOST OF A CHANCE
A short story that was okay with true love /soul mates meeting again at halloween and could have gone in many directions but the suicide part was a bit upsetting for me.
ELIANNE ADAMS – FALLEN ANGEL
An interesting tale and a good enjoyable story about friendship and sacrifice. What would you do for the one you love, what would you give up, how far would you go to save them.
Megan has had an angel protecting her since childhood, but her nightmares are real and those bogeymen are after her. Her angel protector Nate feels more for Megan than he feels he should so distances himself. When Nate is hurt Megan rushes in to save him but ends up having to travel to hell to get Nate back. Unfortunately, the Nate she knows and loves is not the one she finds.
Can Megan win Nate back and return him to a higher plane or will she lose him forever and maybe herself as well.
When I was first finished reading this I feel like more explanation was needed but then I realised I know what the story was all about. It was just very compact.
EDITH HAWKES – BEAR NAKED FOR HALLOWEEN
A good sweet story but in first person POV which I dislike.
Lee and Megan had been friends since childhood and then became boyfriend/girlfriend then lovers for one night.
Whilst I can understand both sides in this story, I believe Lee could have handled telling Megan better than he did, he totally blew that. Still not sure he needed to be out of contact for 5 years.
Megan had lived with the fact Lee disappeared straight after their only night together and Megan understandably thought it was something she had done.
Megan forgave him once his bear was revealed and even though it was all quickly settled, Megan had Alexi’s interests at heart and still loved Lee.
GEN GERICAULT – SWEET VIDALIA
I was hooked on this authors books after reading Shifters in the Spring and her Ever After series.
This looks to be the start of another great series I will be hooked on.
I really want to know the secret of Logan's heritage, what secrets is the house holding and see what happens when the pack moves to Vidalia.
What is going on with the witches of Antebellum and why are the vampires so intent on their pack.
Just very sad that those poor girls were killed.
ALYSE ZAFTIG – ETERNALLY MATED
Really did not get to know these people at all, didn’t bond with Pyotr, thought Viktor was okay and Anastasia was interestingly naïve. Hated her being called Nastia, kept thinking nasty.
Story was good but jumped quickly from kidnapped to mated to two years ahead.
What about her father?
Not the best in this box.
CLAIRE RYANN – GIFT OF THE DEAD
Sorry, too silly for words. Naomi became Nay. Why shorten a perfectly good name. Nay, sounded like a horse.
Started of good then became silly. Gets pregnant by ghost of husband who then comes back, but doesn’t, to protect her but as a wolf during the day to everyone else he is a big dog and her husband at night.
So basically she is a single mother of a half dead werewolf child and spends her day time with a wolf disguised as a dog and her nights with the ghost of her dead husband. What sort of stupid life is that?
Naomi tells everyone she had a drunken one night stand to explain her pregnancy, charming.
What if someone tells her child that when he is older or can he see his father too or only as the wolf?
Luckily this was a short story and all the silliness was in the last few chapters.
SUKI SELBOURNE – THE NIGHT SHIFT
This was a fairly good read but I was a bit wary of Isabel as she straight away came across as a jump to conclusions person who does not listen to the other side of a story.
It was going along nicely with them spending time together and slowly falling for the other. Then Isabel was rotten to Louis after jumping to the wrong conclusion when he was holding the dying woman. How she could treat him like that when he had proven his willpower over his vampire ways over and over again and she never apologised for treating him falsely. An apology goes a long way.
I have not read any other books related to this series so it may be past events that shape Isabel into the woman we met today.
I liked Louis very much and was just a bit sad he was not happy being a vamp but it all turned out well for him. But I felt sorry for Louis being saddled with a judgemental, tiger shifters are superior woman/mate.
AURIELLA SKYE – SUMMONING HER ALPHAS
I believe I have read a book by this author in a box set before.
I quite enjoyed this story even though it was very short. We find out a little bit about Jai, Duke and Sherri but really skim the surface of who they are and only learn a small part of their histories.
I did like all three of them.
There is a lot of background story that if you have not read this series you do not know it which hindered my enjoyment a small bit.
BELLA LOVE-WINS – CURSED MATE
I am not sure what to say about this book. I did enjoy it and found it a good read but didn't like the ending.
It was all so casual the way they said they loved each other but then said that Vincent would spend the next 80 years with Sonya until she died and then what? He would just go onto to someone else. I did not feel like they were mates fated or otherwise and this left me feeling wrong and I don't like that.
A pity as it was good until then.

I received this box set as an ARC from 4 of these authors but I had already ordered it anyway due to having some of my regular authors included.

I guess I should have known Ms. Olivia would be writing another hit. But then it started off a little slow, at one point I didn't think it was going to work for me but I kept reading trying to make sure and the next thing I knew I couldn't put it down it was so good. Oh yes I definitely recommend.

Ms. Elianne has written about this story for this All Hallows Eve, of the things that come out around this time and go bump in the night, like goblins, ghost and werewolves. That's right this lady has them all.
     Megan has been having nightmare since she was a little girl, the last sixteen years have been horrifying, the nightmares seemed so real. Megan was sure they would be coming after her, dead locks on bedroom door, chair under the knob of the closet door. Maybe one night she could get more than an hour or two sleep. She needed her Protector back, he left her and she doesn't know why. What did she do? What will she do when they come for her? Would her cleaver be the perfect weapon to protect her?
    Nate is an Angel, he has always protected Megan. But as Megan grew up into a beautiful women his feelings for her changed, still he protected her at arms length. He might be an Angel but if he follows through with his feelings he knew he'd fall fast from heaven to hell.

Yes, here is another example of why I say this lady can write. Ms. Harper writtings are always so smooth her words flow page to page, chapter through chapter so before you know it you've read the whole book. 
     This short little story of Abby who is a wolf and Quentin who is a bear they are together but not. Abby believes that the different species can't be together. Or can they? Wolves hate Bears and Bear's feel the same way towards wolves. Abby thinks that Quentin is her mate but it is forbidden so it can't be. Quentin knows Abby is his mate, can he change her mind?  Can a wolf and a bear have a happy family together?

OMG what an absolutely phenomenal read.
As this is my first book by this author, it sure won't be my last. Right from the beginning
Ms. Gen had you, I couldn't stop reading.
Not only were the characters fantastic with each other the storyline it was just magic.

As their relationship quickly heats up, the truth could really hurt her and destroy what she and Bach have. 5 stars

Jacqueline Sweet—Let the Bodice Hit the Floor: Rhett is a bear shifter who did not like Halloween and thought it was for humans. When his two friends Good Boy and Pretty Brandon found other things to do, he traveled the world. There was a hole in him that he needed to fill. He seemed to be able to fill the hole with fighting the shifter cage matches, dragon warriors, and even big foot. He had the scars to prove it. But the hole in him remained. He even tried drugs and sex which helped for a bit but never lasted. He took the job to provide security at the Raven Queen’s castle at the insistence of his Alpha and friend Danny Morrissey. He didn’t figure anyone would be crazy enough to steal from the Raven Queen, so he thought he had an easy job. He surely didn’t expect to catch a sassy, yet curvy witch trying to steal from the Raven Queen. Especially one that made his bear rumble. Simone wasn’t expected to show up at the Raven Queen’s masquerade ball because she didn’t do parties. Yet she was attending this one in order to get back her heart that the Raven Queen took from her years ago. Simone had asked the Raven Queen for more power when she was younger and the Raven Queen agreed but with the price of Simone’s heart. Now Simone was going to get it back. Or will she? Will she be able to get past the Raven Queen’s security guy Rhett? 5 stars

I really like both the main characters, enjoyed the tension and heat between them.

However, the story for me had quite a few holes in it - like how if she shifted during the full moon she had to stay a wolf for the whole period of the full moon - yet she shifts and leaves - what, wait? Also, I was never really sold that they were fated mates - seemed a bit anti climatic.

Better than many, but not wonderful

The stories within present a fairly consistent level of quality: mediocre. I have read worse, much worse. And I have read better. Grammar errors are sprinkled throughout, such as "bided" when the correct past tense is "bade." Because these are all novella length, there's not a lot of room for character development, but most of the stories have better plot development than anticipated. Some rely too much on passive voice, others strike a better balance. In other words, if you're looking for light, easy entertainment, then this will serve adequately.

You cannot miss this excellent assortment of shifter stories; it is definitely a box set worth buying.

So far I have read the following three books in this box set and my reviews for each are as follows. They were very well-written, intriguing stories that had lots of twists and turns, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading all three.

Review for: The Darkest Dragon by Anya Nowlan
Losing a bet with her two friends, Sabrina now has to confront her fears and jump into the unknown. Spending Halloween night in an old abandoned manor in Snarling Dragon Mountain is where Sabrina is sent to get over her fear of scary houses, but something about the place strikes Sabrina as odd; it is a little bit too perfect, as if someone has tried to make it look creepy. Curiosity takes the place of fear as Sabrina wanders down a stairway, but when the door falls shut sealing her off from the rest of the manor, she is in for quite the surprise. Donovan is nesting on his hoard in his Dragon form and for one brief moment the two stare at one another; how had she gotten there without him hearing her, the first person to break into the lairs in over 300 years. How has she simply walked through when it is protected by centuries of magic; it is as if she belonged there, as if she belonged with him. A dragon never shares his secrets and now here he is spilling his life story with a journalist of all people; she is his prisoner and he is not supposed to care, but he did. The feeling she had gotten about the manor that everything seemed just a tad too perfect had been right. Fate certainly works in weird ways sometimes. Just as Sabrina has been afraid of facing her fears for the longest time, Donovan is wrestling with demons of his own. Donovan gives Sabrina a dragon stone, meant for a dragon’s chosen, though Sabrina has no way of knowing this. For Donovan it appears Sabrina has done the impossible and taken something from him, while what Sabrina wanted had come to her when she least expected it.

Review for: Bear Naked for Halloween by Edith Hawkes
That night 5-years ago was the best and worst night of Lee’s life, but now it is time to make amends. There were things about him that Megan didn’t know and would not understand, but he is determined to get her back; but can she ever forgive him. Back then Lee was a mess of confusion and disgust; now he has a child who will need his help in the future. Alexis looks so much like her father. For the past few months Megan has been thinking about Lee; no one knew what happened to him or where he went. So many nights Megan has dreamed of this day, when he would come back to her, but she feels only pain and anger; Lee feels this coursing through her because of their bond. His fantasy turns into a nightmare; she hates him. Megan cannot understand why Lee didn’t take her with him; she would have followed him anywhere. Lee is determined to earn Megan’s forgiveness; he would never leave again, but Megan would need to know everything. If Megan will not accept him as her mate, he will still be there for Alexis; his little girl would be going through all the things he went through, but she would not have to deal with it alone. Megan gives Lee one hour to explain the last five years. It is not what she expected to hear; that a letter from his birth mother would be the cause of his leaving. But when Lee tells Megan he is not human, but a giant bear, she thinks it is nothing but a cruel Halloween trick. But does Megan think Lee is worthy of a second chance?

All those years ago, Simone had wanted power and the Raven Queen had offered it to her in exchange for her heart. Simone had jumped at the offer; what did she need a heart for anyway. Yet here she is at the Raven Queen’s Masquerade Ball with one intention only; to steal her heart back. When people look at Rhett they see muscles, scars, tattoos and a glower that is his default expression; they thought he was a thug, a mook, muscles for hire, but in his heart he was a seeker. Now he is acting as security for the Raven Queen who is adamant that someone is going to steal from her. The Raven Queen had told Rhett she had a surprise plan that would make the party more fun, but not this, this was madness; he was the only person in the Palace who could see and who could remember. The Raven Queen loved chaos, but chaos has consequences. Rhett’s bear is confused; Simone is drawing its attention away from finding his Alpha, while Rhett is convinced she is the thief. When Sarah run off in the direction of the vaults and dungeons, Simone and Rhett follow. Simone has never been close to a bear shifter before, but in his presence he sees her. It is not Simone’s heart making her feel things, it is Rhett; every facet of his nature has been designed to ensnare her. But Sarah is in trouble; she has been caught in the Raven Queen’s petrification trap, as have countless others. Simone can break the spell, but she needs her heart first. When Rhett is caught in the same petrification trap, his bear breaks through and with Simone on his back they go to find her heart, trampling every rune and trap on the way. Coming face to face with her heart, Simone is not really prepared for the sight of it, or what happens next as power washes out of her in a giant dizzying pulse. Simone has her heart back, Rhett has found his fated mate and they have freed dozens from the Raven Queen’s grasp. Did the Raven Queen plan this all along?

Most of the stories in the box set were very good or interesting. The reason for the 3 1/2 stars was of the many mistakes throughout most of the stories. A simple spell check can help to fix mistakes easily.
I honestly think if the mistakes are fixed then the box set would get a 4 1/2 from me.

Shifters in the Shadows: 5 stars 9/28/16
This boxed set is filled with short stories, great reading between longer books. It is also, like many boxed sets, a great way to sample authors you have not read.
An example of one story is from a favorite author of mine, Scarlett Grove's The Lion's Halloween Baby.
This story takes place in a familiar place for Grove fans. Two other series take place in Fate Mountain. It isn't necessary to have read any other books to enjoy this one, although it will let you check in on friends from those series.

Geneva was a local white witch with a family history of leadership in the coven. She just wanted to live her life without the added stress of leadership. She was lonely, she lost her mother and her father had been gone for many years. With the success of the local dating site, she took a chance.

That chance brought Rowan, a lion shifter, recently out of the army and ready to settle and find his mate. The success of the local Mate.com brought him to Fate Mountain and Geneva, delighting the man and beast.

Their meeting and romance are fast paced, as often with shifters. The witch connection adds some unique interest, but the steam is as hot as readers expect from Scarlett Grove. If you are expecting fright and goblins, pass, but if you want a sweet but hot read that won't take a lot of time, this is it. While sometimes shorts seem to leave out a lot, this one is jam packed!

Claim Me, Cowbear Live Brywood

Sasha arrives at the Curvy Bear Ranch for an artist's retreat. She needs to refresh her think tank for a big project. If she does not come up with something new she could lose her biggest client. Sasha is a grizzly bear shifter. Sasha is dependent on the income from her sculptures and is nervous about keeping her business afloat. Sasha grew up in the foster care system and after that, she focused on her art to survive.

Jacki is also a grizzly shifter. He survived a horrible plane crash that killed his brother. As a result, he and his family are no longer close. Jack is unable to stay in place for long, he is in search of constant adventure after what he walked away from. He lived for the moment and is soaking it all in. He feels there was a reason that he survived, but he isn't sure what it is just yet.

When the two bears meet up at the dinner table, a connection is formed. Jack is honest about heading off to his next adventure after the retreat. Sasha takes the risk to spend as much time with Jack as she can, all while trying to rekindle her creative juices to complete the much-needed sculpture.

This is an amazing collection and you cannot beat the price. There were many of my favorite authors in this collections, plus a whole new set of authors to follow. Totally hot and most stories would individually get a a four or five star rating. You fun spicy and hot, grab this bundle

This is a great set of stories. I have really enjoyed reading them. There are some by my favorite authors and some new authors for me to. Some of the stories introduce you to other series that the authors have and are more complete stories featuring those characters and others are more introductions to a series where the stories continues. There are also complete short stories.

It is a great mix of styles and all kinds of paranormal characters are included in the set. There are shifters, ghosts, witches, demons, vampires, fairies and all kinds of romances. You get some second chance at love stories as well as menage. The uniting theme is Halloween.

Eternally Mated by Alyse Zaftig is a great menage romance about a vampire needing to find the witch and shifter who are his mates before he reaches his 300th birthday on Halloween. There are some hot scenes in this story.

The Darkest Dragon by Anya Nowlan features a dragon shifter who has lived an isolated life protecting his lair until a human unexpectedly arrives. I really liked the story.

Summoning Her Alphas (Paranormal Alphas of Kala West #1) is another hot menage that will definitely delight.

The Vampire Wore Stilettos by Cynthia Fox is a story of a female vamp who has focused on business and meets a sexy detective that changes her focus. It is not a complete story and will make you want to read on to see what is next.

Bear Naked for Halloween by Edith Hawkes is a second chance at love story. A bear shifter has returned to his mate and has a lot to make up for. It was a great story of the strong bonds between mates.

Fallen Angel (Deadly Whispers #2) by Elianne Adams is a great read about an angel and the woman he has been protecting. In this story, he now needs her help to save him. I loved the story.

Sweet Vidalia by Gen Gericault is about wolf shifters facing a lot of changes. They are ready to become mates and facing a challenge to their pack in the form of vampires. I really enjoyed their relationship and there are some funny moments. I was left wondering what was next for the pack.

Let the Bodice Hit the Floor by Jacqueline Sweet is part of one of my favorite series. This one features a bear shifter and a witch who end up working together to reclaim her heart.

Hunter's Moon (Silvertip Shifters/Black Mesa Wolves crossover novella) by J.K. Harper is about a wolf shifter and a bear shifter. He knows they belong together but she thinks wolves and bears can not be mates. He has to convince her that she is very wrong. Quentin is such a great guy and I totally fell for him.

A Ghost Of A Chance by JM Klaire is a story about the chance to reclaim a lost love. Very steamy and well written.

Hell or High Water by Kit Fawkes is about a witch and a demon who have a strong attraction but also some serious differences to work out. I liked the author's different take on demons.

Claim Me Cowbear by Liv Brywood is part of another one of my favorite series. Two bear shifters are at an art retreat and find love unexpectedly. I highly recommend the series if you enjoy the story.

Her Dragon Protector by Olivia Arran is one of may favorite stories in the book. It is about two dragon shifters who belong together but have to fight others who also want her.

Cursed Mate by Bella Love-Wins is a great read about a vampire and a shifter that should not be together but find themselves unable to resist the temptation. I really enjoyed the story. The other characters add some humor and fun to the story.

Book 1- Claim me Cowbear
Being that this was from a new author for me, this book was a nice mix of cute and hott! Felt terrible for the fact that it's plain to see that Jack was claiming himself for his brothers death and his family was horrible. Loved how strong Sasha was on the fact that even if she only had a week, she looked at it as at least she had that week over nothing. Ending was adorable!

Book 2- The Lions Halloween Baby
Having read the other books by this author, I loved this one just as much. Loved how Rowan went into this looking to find his mate and make a family from the start. Loved Genevas character, but really wish she had put Trixie in her place. Loved this story!

Book 3- The Darkest Dragon
As a big fan of Anya Nowlan's books, this book was no different. Her dragons are normally favorites of mine and I loved this book. She portrayed Donovan in perfect light with his lonely existence and I loved the fact that while Sabrina was afraid, she didn't back down. Loved this Shifter Grove story!

Her Dragon Protector- Excellent story. Loved how protective Trent is of Astrid right from the start. Her brother was an ass but atleast he didnt fight her when she came to a resolution. Excellent shifter love story and love this authors books

Hunter's Moon- Great short read especially if you have read Mesa Wolves before. Love this author
Hell or High Water- Demon in love! When you think of Demons you think of bad guys, this story showed they aren't all bad. While the whole inside out thing was different kind of punishment, it was a great story showing love can be anywhere.
Let the Bodice Hit the Floor- cute love story between the bear and a witch. Loved how when be freed her heart it freed everyone else. Really wondered if the queen knew what she was doing the whole time!
Vampire wore stilettos- Content in one chapter is not for the faint of heart. Overall I love the short story and cant wait for more with this group!
Ghost of Chance- This story was definitely different and perfect for the Halloween collection. Loved the bond between the two even in death
Fallen Angel- excellent story. Loved how even in Hell, he was willing to sacrifice his heart and soul to save her no matter what! Loved her determination not to give up on him
Bear Naked On Halloween- secret baby romance. Loved this story, Lee left to protect Megan until he learned to control his bear. Love how determined he was that no matter how long it took he was going to win his family back. Another great story by Edith Hawkes.
Sweet Vidalia- Very cute love story between two wolves who grew up together. Felt bad that they saved the girls just for them to turn around and be killed later. Hope he finds out more about his background.
Eternally Mated- Long lost friends turned mates. Great story... My only question would be what happened with her dad.
Gift of the Dead- this story was different in a good day. I've always been curious about the Day of the Dead and this was a great take on it!
The Night Shift- Cute interspecies love story. Loved the vampire turned wolf part.
Summoning Her Alphas- excellent story just like the rest of the stories from this author that go with this story! highly recommend reading any of this authors books
cursed mate- just like all of her books, I loved this one. Love the vampire/wolf forbidden love. Highly recommend reading the other books from this author

I absolutely enjoyed reading this Fabulous Box Set of Paranormal Romances stories from these authors! Everyone of these authors are so talented. I have read most of the storylines in series and I loved catching up with the characters I have read before. These storylines are phenomenal and I'm the kind of reader that so happy to revisit stories that is a part of a series that I had read and to read new stories.This Fabulous, Exciting, Box Set has great authors who are old and new to me. All of the storylines are complete but of course what's a cliffhanger or two, but you may want to read the stories of the authors that you like and have read before. Over all, this is a great selection of stories to introduce you to new authors and available series. I find that each is a unique, great and enjoyable read. WOW I am so excited to read 17 Brand new, exclusive and stand alone Paranormal Romances that can be read at your leisure. I just couldn't stop reading, I didn't want to read the authors that I knew their contribution would be phenomenal, I couldn't resist reading the others because they were in such good company.

Hunter's Moon is one of the short stories contained in this box set. It is a short story that moves very fast. We don't get a lot of background information on the characters. I have not read any of the Silvertip Shifters or Black Mesa Wolves series. Maybe if I had read them first I would have had the background info I was wanting. With that said, I still enjoyed the story. Deep down Abby knew that Quentin was her mate. However, she wouldn't let herself accept that fact. She was a wolf shifter and Quentin was a bear shifter. In her world, she thought they could never be together. Quentin wouldn't let that stop him from having a future with his mate. He knew better that it could work and never gave up on a future of them together.
