This was a fast paced quick read. This was my first read by this author and I will be reading more. When I first started reading it I just knew it was going to be predictable but it was anything but. I loved the twist that came out. Everyone was for themselves and not for God and his people. Looking forward to finding out will become of this church mess.

My Rationalization:
Wow is all that is left to say about this church story. It is really hard to believe all the problems that happened with pastors, church trustees, and or deacon boards. When I thought of the way this story was going I could believe that this was very realistic in today's world. When one thinks about it isn't 'the church that is supposed to be a place of healing, hope, fellowship and gathering to edify one another?' However, be ready for a bit of 'turmoil, twist and turns that will have you shaking your head and saying omg from this read! Well, for so many reasons this was not what happened in this church. You will just have to pick up this read to see for yourself how this will all come out and yes I will say this was one church mess.
This is a first time reading a book by this author. It drew me in right from the beginning through the end. It told the story of what happens when pastors have problems with the church trustees and or deacon board when a scandal erupts involving the Pastor and other church members. You have your so called Christians who are snakes in the grass trying to fool the people into doing what they want them to do. I recommend this book and I look forward to reading more books by this author. Cassandra H.
Power struggle in the church. The pastor is not living a godly life; the head trustee thinks he is the one who really runs the church and his life is not godly either. Then you have a "pastor" who is in cahoots with the trustee, another who does any job to be recognized the pastor's son, who wants to honor God. My husband is a pastor, thank goodness this is not our way! Couldn't put this down!
