I think it's only fair to warn readers considering this book, that there are major editing issues. I'm no grammar queen, but what I read was not acceptable, and not what I expect when I PAY to read something.
I also couldn't connect with the writing style. Overly descriptive.
I loved how Dawne changed up from writing military romance and adding Bo to co-author a hockey romance. I have to say I am not big fan of sports romance until I read Blue Line. I loved the characters Jane and Patrick. Jane being jaded by her ex, a hockey player, she wanted nothing to do with other hockey players except for friendships. Patrick, a hot and gorgeous hockey player, has reservations about relationships. Will Jane give in to Patrick, a hockey player, and will Patrick change his opinion on relationships, for Jane? I cannot wait for the next book in the series and see what else Dawne will bring to the book world.
Jane is just living her life. It's not the best but it's her life and she is making the most of it after picking herself up after being dropped by her Ex. Blades is her part time weekend job and she loves it because if focuses on hockey a sport she loves. Enters the newest player Patrick for the Atlanta Spartan. These two click they have the same views and value their privacy. But the pass doesn't stay in the pass and the one thing she asked Patrick not to do is leave her. When a heart is broken into tiny pieces Can it be put back together. Follow their story in Blue Line.
This book had me sucked in from the beginning of it , I love how Patrick spoiled Jane with gifts all the time . This story was really good , I loved how he took care of Jane . Patrick was one of the best guys .
I good story. A bit heavy on details at certain points. It could also use some editorial work but the characters were well portrayed and the storyline was interesting enough that I read it in one sitting.
