A good book in terms of explaining a clear and structured approach to projects and/or tasks as a BA. Lacks in actually going into depth on what sort of applications would be best used to collect/ellicit requirements (JIRA, Microsoft Office...), communicate effectively etc. Having carried out a few different projects this aspect is absolutely critical. Further editions if any might look to cover these off?
Wonderful book for anyone who needs to understand the business analysis profession. This book is to the point and very crisp. It lays out a basic framework for everyone to grasp business analysis quickly without spending much time. Would suggest evryone to read this once. Not only it gives a fair overview of what a business analyst is supposed to do, it also gives an idea about so many complex concepts in a very lucid way. Reccomended.
