The NOVA Trilogy

Sophia

My story begins in St. Louis with my best friend and former college roommate, Mera. I'm twenty-three, not the romantic type, and convinced that I can mistreat my body however I see fit. I'm not worried about any consequences, only my therapist is. I see her twice a week as requested by my father. He believes I have issues with my mother and that my lack of motivation, foul mouth, and immaturity all stem from her neglect. But my therapist? She thinks I'm a sex addict. All of this is about to change... because of him.

Cove Everton holds secrets that are infinitely darker than mine. The demons he carries are destroying him, and his connection to my family is tragic. He tries to distance himself, but our attraction is too powerful. Once his private life is exposed, there's no turning back. We fall fast and hard, both virgins to this kind of love and troubled by the unknowns of a future together.

Can we erase the scars of one another's past and move forward? Or will we be consumed by our former lives?

You'll spend time in shallow water getting to know me before you advance into the deep end with Cove. And it is deep, be patient. The unexpected is coming. ~Sophia Jameson

The Dark Scarlett

COVE

Paul Jameson forced me into the adult film industry at a young age, putting me through years of horrific abuse. It's no surprise I became an alcoholic, considering the ongoing trauma and depression that he caused.

I’m just glad the lowlife finally got what he deserved, and I was free to get on with my life. A better life. An easier life. But then I fell in love. And love is never fucking easy. Especially when the woman who captured my heart is Paul’s daughter, Sophia.

Go figure, right?

Well, Sophia is sassy and sexy and caring and stunningly beautiful. All great things. She’s breathed new life into me. Still, I feel like I’ve got a dark cloud hanging over my head. Even with Paul gone, a bunch of weird shit keeps happening. Like when a guy gets murdered in the parking lot of my wine bar, The Dark Scarlett. And then some nutcase starts stalking Sophia. Plus an adult film star I once knew comes out of nowhere and decides it will be fun to harass me. What the hell does he want?

Count them. Not one, but two psychopaths are causing trouble.
And I have to deal with the cops investigating the body found outside my bar.
Maybe the devil himself—Paul Jameson—is behind all this.

Or maybe these men aren’t the problem.
Maybe the actual threat is closer to home.

After all, how well do I know Sophia?

JULIA BARRINGER is a young, fierce, foul-mouthed blonde who works the front desk at Mark's hotel. But what if she finds out about the p○rn, the drugs, and all the bodies at the bottom of the lake?

Prepare to meet the Jameson, a family that will make you 😭🤬😱😅....
In the trilogy Nova you will know Paul Jameson and his daughter Sophia. Paul is a sick bastard who runs a porn company and likes to abuse minors. Sophia doesn’t know about her father’s business until she meets Cove, a man who has been abused by her father since he was 12 years old. She falls in love with him and when she tries to confront her father she ends up dragged into the porn industry.
Here you have some passages from the trilogy:

“She’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. She’s innocent, and very different from this world that we’re trapped in... and also naive about Paul. When she touches me, I feel free and alive, something that I’ve never experienced before. Her eyes are striking, they hypnotize me, and my heart aches for her when she’s not around.” He stops for a moment and clears his throat, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. “I need her, Dad. I want to take care of her, keep her from harm and away from Paul. When we’re together, I no longer feel cold and abandoned. She comforts me and makes me laugh. I can tell she’s brilliant like Paul, but in a good way. She’s curious and caring, someone I would want to be with, forever.”

sit up and lean over him, moving his arm from his face. His eyes are filled with tears. “Sophia...” He turns away. “I’m right here for you, Cove. I always will be, unless you want me to leave.” “No, absolutely not,” he says, turning swiftly. He runs his hand through my hair and kisses my forehead, holding his lips to mine. “I love you. I need you by my side... forever. I want you to be my wife.”

“I’ve been stiff since I pulled out of you last night. Your voice, body, and heart keep me aroused all the time. Your touch, your breath, your warmth... all keeps me erect twenty-four seven. God, you saw how much I wanted you when we were in the shower together.”

Sophia. I really did give you my virginity.”
“Will you marry me, Sophia? When we get back to St. Louis, will you be my wife?”

In Dark Scarlett, Sophia and Cove have escaped their nightmare and now live married and happy with their wine bar until David Rosen appears to threaten them.

“I can feel every ounce of desire and passion you have for me. That’s why I love you. You’re devoted to me, and only me. You want to know what else I love?”

Sophia has the temperament and behavior of a teenager, and I’m not much better. We were both forced to grow up too quickly and never had a chance to be kids. Now, we play off one another, both lost, and both of us totally fucked in the head. She throws tantrums and still uses sex as a way to heal or diminish her frustrations, and I can be either sweet or a complete dick, and I use sex as a way to disappear from the world and my problems.

David Rosen is the main reason my father’s out of jail. He’s a lawyer with a shitload of connections, and I’ve come to believe he’s involved with the mob. Or he is the mob; an all-powerful man who once tried to force himself on my wife, whose twin sons were Paul Jameson’s bodyguards, and who was the man who began Jameson Industries; using Paul as a front to cover his ass if anything went amok. He’s older, possibly in his sixties, with a tough as nails Harrison Ford personality, and unfortunately, I’m also related to the dumbfuck. He’s my mother’s uncle.

“All I know from them is pain for pain. If people harm you, you harm them back, and to be honest with you Soph, most of the time I don’t feel like I’m able to function in this world because of my past. I’ve thought about it a lot. Who am I supposed to be? How am I supposed to act? Am I just walking through life putting on shows for everyone based on their personalities, and not my own? I mean; Haverty and I are vulgar fucks, no question there. When I’m with him I become some jock asshole, yet around my mother I try to be sensitive and considerate, but it doesn’t always work out that way. I don’t believe either of those personalities fits me. Then, I try to come across as a tough guy around my father, a man... but in the end I turn into a helpless little boy still searching for his protection.”

I shrug as she pats her face dry and slides into a worn T-shirt and her black skinny jeans. I just fucked her, but with that outfit I’d fuck her again if I could get it up. Maybe tonight. My dick’s pretty happy right now. But damn, her body looks fine in that outfit. Okay, stop thinking about tits and ass for two seconds and go back to soothing her stomach. Maybe she could use some Pepto. “Cove!” “What?” “Are you listening to me? What are you thinking about?” “I’m listening.” “Well?” “Well what?” “I just fucking told you I was pregnant and your reaction is well what? Seriously?”

In Jameson hotel we will meet Sophia’s brother Mark, another old porn star in his father’s company. Cocky, controlling and with a vigilante complex that won’t hesitate to kill those who threaten his family.

I’m Mark Jameson. Oh, and welcome to my hotel.

I knew the moment she walked into my office for an interview that I’d have her modelesque body in my bed before anyone else in this hotel laid a hand on her, but if I could’ve predicted that a noose would start tightening around my neck because I have feelings for...

It’s been years since I’ve had good reason to take a man down, and from start to finish, it played out without a hitch. I truly believe ridding the world of scum is a good deed. It’s not wrong to kill a man who’s hurt others or who has the potential to harm again. I’m a vigilante for those I hold dear and it was the right thing to do. My greatest strength is to defend and protect, and Julia’s one lucky woman to have me around.

“You belong to me, Jules.”And if you can stick your dick in me, I think it’s okay for me to stick my head in your garage. It only seems fair. Besides, I wanted to do something nice for you.”“Is that what’s wrong with you? You’re high on bleach fumes?” “No, I think I’m in love.”

“You need to worship your princess.”“Well, it’s your lucky day. A princess in cuffs about to get fucked in the ass is indeed worth worshipping.”

Her eyes well with tears as she holds the Handmade Coltellerie Berti Italian Pocket Knife, a romantic offering, and a blade that was most commonly exchanged between a couple as a symbol of their engagement. Better than a fucking ring. I’m not going to tell her the significance; I’ll wait for her to figure it out on her own. What she does know is it’s a gift of devotion, and that’s enough.

She steps closer, staring at the knife and his bloody gut, nodding with composure. “I see a man.” She keeps a steady voice. “Who will protect me until the day that I die.”“I really wanted to spend the rest of the evening alone until I saw you beating the pulp out of this guy. Now I don’t believe I ever want us to be apart. I never imagined a scene like that would turn me on, but seeing your hand clenching the knife, the blade covered in blood, the surprise in your eyes when you saw me, and how your expression changed quickly from hatred to affection... I’ll be waiting for you when you get back. And in your words, Mark, I think we need to fuck.”

She stands and grabs the knife, moving back to Mera’s body and raising it, about to stab... “Marry me,” I say, chewing my toast. “I’m sorry.” “For what?” I ask. “The mess. I didn’t think about the fact that she might need to use the bathroom. And when I was trying to hurt her like she hurt Dax... I got lost in the moment and didn’t realize until it was over that I was wiping the bloody blade on your sheets. I fucked up.” I laugh while taking another bite of toast. She hasn’t responded to my proposal. “Marry me,” I repeat, pointing my toast at her. “What?” “Yeah, we’re perfect for one another. Just say yes then we’ll deal with Mera.”“You haven’t even said you loved me yet, but you’re proposing? Tell me how that works? You’re the only person in this world who’s asked someone to marry him without first professing his love.”“I love you.”“Now, marry me.” “No. This isn’t how you propose to someone, Mark.”

“There’s never a dull moment with Mark Jameson!”My son. My fucking son... he’s going to be worse than me when he grows up. Again, I get the award for being a shitty parent... here son, let me slice your ears, now dispose of the dead guy like a good little boy.

Sorry I thought about killing you, used our handcuffs for non-sexual play, and ate all the cock cookies before you got home. Please, forgive me.

“Welcome to the family, princess. I love you. Now let’s fuck.” And she places the ring on my finger... “You’re mine. I love you. Now let’s fuck.” The minister clears his throat and says, “Believe it or not, I’ve heard worse. Shall we end?”

I'm deeply disturbed by this series. So why did I give it 5 stars? BECAUSE I'm deeply disturbed by it. Let me try to explain, the characters were totally flawed but completely human and yes, very loveable. At times, I didn't think I could turn another page or read another word, I was so horrified. There is so much violence within these pages my head was spinning. So why Did I keep going and turning another page? That 's easy, it was because no amount of nastiness could cover up the astonishing amount of absolute love within these pages. It's not for the faint of heart or someone without a cast iron stomach tho. You've been warned.

I think this is the first time I've ever wanted to give more than five stars. This series is truly my all time favorite. The characters are so flawed, yet entertaining, you can't help but to fall in love with them. The situations cause you to pause as you relate, having been written with such emotion. I can't wait to catch up with them again!

It's a roller coaster of an unusual family with crazy secrets and weird lifestyle, but family at the end of the day!

Normal it's what we make it our own and it's what feels right for each individual under the circumstances we where brought up with. So this is a normal, crazy and funny family, it's dark and darker, but in the end there is love and lots of sex, so it was an amazing experience to get to know this family and understand their lives and their way of doing what they do. So read it, enjoy it and learn that with love anything's possible.

Very Enlightening

This series was unnerving to me. It was very interesting and emotional. Cove and Sophia met under stressful times in their lives. The entire book was full of stress and emotional times. You would never imagine the things that happened would happen in real life. But I'm rambling here; it is just so unnerving that you can't put it down if your life depended on it. And some of the sex is so hot it will burn your kindle up. All I can say is don't read this series if you have a weak stomach. Just read it!

This amazing set set gives us the story of the Jameson family from the start, where we meet Sophia and Cove in the Nova trilogy, to seeing things from Cove's perspective in The Dark Scarlett, and then finally we get to meet more of Mark Jameson, learn what makes him tick in The Jameson Hotel. This set of books has so many highs and lows and a generous helping of laughs thrown in too
