Bad ideas can sometimes be the best!

With a name like Junk, getting involved with a man named Heavy may be a bad idea. Although, Heavy Junk does have a certain ring to it, better than Brangelina. In the motorcycle world, being hetero and manly go hand in hand. One cannot exist without the other. So what happens to all the gay biker guys? They shove it deep down inside them... eh hem, so to speak. Still, when probbie Junk has the hots for Heavy, it is dangerous as Heavy is the alpha leader of this pack. His manhood can not be questioned even if he does want to spank Junk hard and then ream him.
The conflict in this story ends in the expected manner. There really is no resolution for being outside the definition of the manly norm in this motorcycle club. The reader is treated to a bratty bottom who gets what he wants... his leather Daddy giving it to him hard. The BDSM scene is erotic and the highlight of this story. The characters are fun and easy to understand. They are not complicated, just oppressed by the people they are around to keep the status quo. The bit of jealous play seems to be a bit puerile, yet it fits Junk's attitude. Heavy and Junk generate heat and end this story in a smoking satisfied manner. This short and sweet m/m is recommended to kinky readers who enjoy bratty bottoms who are rewarded by an alpha male.

Bikers are known to be tough, they work at creating that image if most of the stories around them are to be believed, and the main characters in this story certainly confirm they are a perfect fit for that stereotype. Except for the part where they are not interested in women – pretty much a death sentence in their club – and prefer to “play” with each other.
Heavy is the gang leader, and he is certainly rough, brutal when needed, and as uncompromising in private as he is when taking care of gang business. He is only interested in Junk (what a nickname!), but he can’t let anyone know. This doesn’t bother him too much, as long as he can find the occasional opportunity to get the bratty guy behind closed doors to punish him for disobeying every real and made-up rule they can both think of. And Junk loves every minute. He is a pretty tough biker in his own right, and still the newbie, so he has to be careful – but he didn’t join an MC to play it safe. These guys are truly made for each other.
This is one hot piece of writing and if you like bikers, want to explore what might happen once they get into BDSM, and are a fan of “bad ideas” being “rewarded”, then give this story a go.

Being a part of the MC Roughneck Riders has been Heavy's life for as long as he can remember. As their leader he needs to be tough, mean, sadistic, and merciless. So loving a man is out of the question. Too bad all he desires is to dominate Junk in every way possible which makes matters worse, Junk craves Heavy's domination. But is one night a month going to be enough?
Phew! This is one steamy novella! Junk is a probie-going on three years as a rookie with the Roughnecks and he is getting restless. He would have moved on id he did not need his Master's heavy hand. He loves the man and cant seem to walk away. All he gets are secret nights and stolen moments together, about once a month. He needs more. Junk comes up with a plan that he knows is a bad idea but its the only way to get Heavy's attention.
This novella has one heavy scene of BDSM of the best sort when it comes to M/M stories. I just wish it did not end so soon. At the end Junk claims he will make Heavy his master in every sense of the word, both in and out of bed-then it just ends. I need more!! So many questions left unanswered. This is my first Lily Harem read but it most certainly will not be my last!!

For a very short book, this packs a lot of punch - when the president of an MC is gay, and he is in a covert relationship with a proby, things can only be complicated. We get to share just one evening of their lives, but are treated to the danger, the lust and the love that these two men feel - and the philosophical approach that they seem destined to follow.

3.25 stars. M/M BDSM novella.
A deeply closeted alpha male bikers, Heavy and Junk, don’t exactly have the healthiest of relationships (and there was minor assault involved).
This is a HFN novella with one BDSM scene. The premise is a bit typical and I found the writing a lot less smooth or sexy compared to the Caught on Camera series. But overall it is an ok read and I would be interested to know how their story would end.

Bad Idea by Lily Harlem is a fast paced, gritty biker story. I felt this story has a lot more to give, I would love to read more about this biker gang in the future.
Rough Neck Riders MC club has a leader his name is Heavy. He is tough as nails. Great leader, all the ladies like him, and he has a big secret that only a new probie named Junk knows.
Junk wants Heavy's attention. He loves Heavy's sadistic ways. He also does not mind proving his worth. But if Heavy wants to push his buttons, Junk has no problem pushing back.
This is a rough and tough book, with a pace that is okay. I wished I knew more, and perhaps there might be more to this world in the future I really think that would do this world justice. Not that this book is bad, nope it is a great read, I just felt there was a lot of information in a short story. Having a sequel might help.

I received a free copy of this book to read for Inked Rainbow Reads in exchange for an honest review.
This is a perfect example why I love Lily Harlem. She can write a story with characters that are compelling enough that you want to know more about them even though it's a short story. At the end, all I could say was... I want more! We got to learn a bit about the life the two men live as part of a motorcycle gang and about their secret meetings and how blisteringly hot they are.
Lily Harlem writes so well that the story was capturing and the sex was HOT and even though all in all it was a short story, I wanted to find out what happens and more about each of the characters, which is a hard thing to do when the story didn't have long to establish much at all.

This short is an as-good-as-it-gets HFN story that still satisfies. Heavy and Junk have the deck stacked against them but make as much of a commitment as they can in the circumstances.
