This book is fantastic. It's sad that I read the second book before reading the first. I agree totally with Rosemary about the spirit world. We are in this body for a short time, but in the spirit world forever. No spoilers, but I suggest reading The eagle and the rose first. She doesn't claim to be an author rather a storyteller.

A nice continuation of her first book, The Eagle and the rose, with more stories of contact from the spirit world, and words of wisdom from Grey Eagle. I especially like the "we don't like you anymore lesson", that everything we send out comes back to us, and when we hate or harm others we do it to ourselves even more. If people only knew this an acted on it, what a better world we would live in. The ghost who was stuck here was interesting also, but no mention was made of evil spirits, wonder what Grey Eagle has to say about them, and how to keep safe. Loved Grey Eagles thoughts or answers in the Laws and the Universe chapter in the book, especially the open mindedness as far as other beliefs, and that the main thing is to follow Gods plan of love and tolerance, and not any book or idea of man. Will continue my reading of Rosemary Altea's books as well as my own personal quest.

HER SECOND BOOK, EXPANDING ON THE TEACHINGS OF ‘GREY EAGLE’

Rosemary Altea (born Rosemary Edwards) is a British author and medium. She wrote in the Introduction of this 1997 book, “There are many things I have to tell you, much information I want to impart, about the spirit world and the people of the spirit world. In this book I must tell you more of their story, and how we who life on this earth, how our actions and our thoughts, create reactions in the world of the spirit. I would also like to tell you about what happens when we die, how through our lives we have lessons and can gain insight. And as healing is a big part of my life, I will share many stories with you on this subject as well… As I have traveled through my writings, Grey Eagle has been my constant companion, An Apache, a shaman, he has been a continuing source of inspiration to me… I am a medium now… I am no longer uncertain of my life. With great confidence, born of an even greater faith, I treat my path, Grey Eagle ever watchful, by my side.” (Pg. 1-2)

She says of the dead, “reflecting again on the question, ‘Are they happy?’ my experience is that in certain situations, as in life on earth, many souls are not. They are themselves as having missed opportunities to grow. Many are frustrated. And yet, at the same time, they are calmed, for God’s light not only shows us who we are, which we may not like to look at; it also gives us hope and enlightenment as we understand that time is on our side, that life continues and we can and will still learn.” (Pg. 14)

She states, “I must say that many people, in their attempt to explain reincarnation, refer to the mechanics by telling us that we live, we die, we go to the light, stay for a while, come back, live, die, go to the light, stay for a while, come back to earth, live, die, etc. I refer to it as the yo-yo syndrome. Grey Eagle would say… we were, before we came to the earth world… and we will continue to be after we have left this world. We are soul… we had choices, and we chose this life. So when we die, we will have choices again… Some of us may choose to return to the earth plane, to be reincarnated in a physical body. Others, myself included… may choose to explore the universe, and the many universes that are out there.” (Pg. 47)

She explains, “There is, I believe, great power in prayer… The healer acts as a conduit for that energy, healing energy, which passes through the healer and then on to the patient… when spiritual healing is given, it is first directed to the spirit of the patient… The way to rid ourselves of disharmony within us is to ensure that the soul has light, to remember that we are, first and foremost, spiritual beings.” (Pg. 115)

She acknowledges, “What I am about to tell you now will, I know, make me sound like a religious fanatic, or a crazy person, or perhaps even a charlatan. I don’t believe that I am any of these. As I say this I am reminded of all those people in the past who have claimed to see the Virgin Mary or Christ, people who have claimed that, as in a vision, some saint has come to them to give them a message meant for mankind. The children of Fatima, Bernadette of Lourdes, Joan of Arc… I don’t claim that my vision was for mankind. I do claim that I had a vision, but that vision was for me and not, I feel, for anyone else.” (Pg. 147)

She clarifies, “I have been asked by many people this question: How can you believe in Christ and yet say that you have a spirit guide, an Apache no less, who is your teacher, your mentor? So many people assume that to believe in Christ is to exempt all other helpers. For me this is not so. I believe that God has many helpers, many messengers… And so I work with Grey Eagle, a man of God, working in God’s name, knowing that Christ is leading us forward.” (Pg. 149-150)

She asks, “Is it an accident that the painting… ‘The Ascension of Christ’ by Rembrandt and many other paintings by religious artists, great painters of pictures, all depict saints and godly men and women with a golden aura? I don’t think so… More probable… is that these artists, involved as they were in their craft, became so close to their subjects, their sensitivities so heightened, that it was possible for them to become attuned to the power and energy of their subject and therefore to see… their aura---or God energy---and to paint it.” (Pg. 158)

She recounts, “Many people over the years had said these same words to me: prove it… Usually, my response is to smile, shrug, and explain that I am not a puppet or some weird kind of entertainment… I understand that many people see me as a curiosity. As for … those with no understanding, or willingness to understand, what am I to them: the organ grinder or the monkey? And their cry is simply, ‘Let’s see the monkey dance.’ And so I usually ignore the ‘prove its.’” (Pg. 171)

She states, “For whatever pain you deliberately inflict on another will be brought back to you tenfold. This is the law of the universe. What is given out must be taken back.” (Pg. 232)

She summarizes ‘The Laws of the Universe’: “1. Each being is responsible for, OWNS, its own soul. 2. One man is the whole, which is one man… the circle of light, unbroken. 3. What is given out must be taken back, must return to its source. 4. There is not … one living thing that does not have God at its center, at the heart of it. No man, woman, or child is exempt from this Law. 5. All things, each being, all tings living, return to the source, which is God. is light. 6. Each soul has choice, and will exercise that choice, and has, by its very existence, exercised its choice. 7. Each soul is its own Law.” (Pg. 235)

Grey Eagle summarizes, “And we who are spirit, and to the spirit world, we who are light, will call to you, you who are spirit, and of the earth world, you who are light, and we will be united once more. And we are spirit. And we are proud. All here who have risen from the mountain. And my name is Grey Eagle, and I am Apache. And I am spirit…and in am proud… Proud Spirit.” (Pg. 246)

This book will be of interest to those seeking channeled teachings, and mediums.

I find myself at a loss for words, on how to describe this book, or how to reccomend it... Again, it was meant for me, in this space and time. I have come to call Rosemary and Grey Eagle friends. I DO recommend reading "The Eagle and the Rose," first, as in this book we find out "the rest of the story." Namaste.

Her life story, and what she is able to do, is very interesting. Her first book was "The Eagle and the Rose".
