When a young analyst with the NSA intercepts information from Syrian terrorists involving a planned attack on the USA, he is murdered by Muslim hit men who also pursue his girlfriend, an innocent schoolteacher.
The White House are concerned and they ask their Security Specialists Jake Harrigan, an ex-CIA assassin and his partner Sarah Schaumberg, an ex-FBI agent, to check on the death of the young analyst and find and protect his girlfriend.
They track the girl to her parents home in Wyoming and save her from the hit men and as they dig deeper into the conspiracy with the help of a top NSA IT expert, they realise that the deadly terrorist plan involves a nuclear attack on US targets
The problem is that they don't know which targets or when the apocalyptic events will take place. With help from the Israeli Mossad, they follow a deadly trail through Israel and Syria in a race against the clock to prevent a World-shattering catastrophe.

An interesting and entertaining story well told.
The story is very detailed with a lot of action both in the US and in the mid east asia. They get help from the Israelis to eliminate the bad guys and then go home to find the US problem.
