What I expected...sort of

The sample was interesting enough for me to purchase it, but it soon lost it's momentum for me. The story was somewhat typical as far as "street lit" goes so I suppose I got what I expected. I was however, disappointed by the number of typos, grammatical errors and the author's penchant for using the wrong tense within the same paragraph. I'm a stickler for that kind of thing and it almost discouraged me from finishing the book. I wish it ended differently but hopefully the follow up is better.

I liked the premise and description and it seemed to be different enough to be unique. But I must admit that I stopped reading after a while. I just didn't understand how the main character was supposedly in love with her 'baby daddy' then suddenly wanted both another guy she knew and a new woman she just met. I didn't finish it.
