Dax Jonathan Montgomery’s life was destroyed after he lost his wife and unborn child in a horrific drunk driving accident and he murdered the man responsible. It cost him his heart and seven years behind bars. The horror didn’t stop there. With nowhere to go after his release, he joined the Desert Crows, a skinhead outlaw motorcycle club and does things no man should be proud of. He knows the only chance at redemption is to take over the club and turn his bike down another sweltering road.

Sofia Guadalupe Acosta was born the bi-product of a drugged out Hispanic mother and a skinhead father. Her father wanted her mother dead and his dirty little secret hidden. Her mother escaped with Sofia and changed her life to protect her child. Now Sofia’s all grown up and set on revenge.

The problem… another skinhead killed her no good rotten father so Sofia must set her sights on a different target. She doesn’t care if she burns in hell as long as Dax burns with her.

I was given an advance copy of Burn in exchange for my honest review .I just finished Burn by Holly S. Roberts. I could not put it down once I began reading. A definite page turner Burn is an emotional, intriguing and well written story. We get to know Dax and his Desert Crows; a motorcycle club out in the hot Arizona land. A club that Dax had recently taken over. And we meet Sophia, a beautiful Latina with her own sordid past. Both Dax and Sophia struggle with their demons and yet through it all find love. The character development is amazing. I feel close to these characters; i feel that I know them well. I don't want to say goodbye to them. Burn will touch your heart and leave you wishing that somehow you too would find someone to make your body burn. Excellent read. Wonderful romance. I highly recommend this book to anyway who loves a great hot hot hot romance. I feel a book hangover coming on.

I was fortunate to get an advanced copy of Burn for an honest review.

I was hesitant to start this book as I'm not a fan of stories with motorcycle clubs in them. I am very very glad that I read this one. Once I started I found it hard to put down, I absolutely loved it!!

Dax and Sophia are perfect for each other, Sophia gives as good as she gets and doesn't let anyone get away with anything. She manages to get the majority of the clubs trust and support.

Dax is determined to give himself and his brothers a better way of life. Their relationship is not an easy one but it works. The way the characters developed throughout the story was very well done and believable.

I was on a bit of an emotional roller coaster throughout the book..........sadness, tears, anger, outrage, laughter, happiness.

This is a fantastic book which I thoroughly enjoyed and is yet another example of how Holly S Roberts never fails her readers with her terrific stories and awesome characters. I'm looking forward to now reading the first two books in the series.

I loved every bit of this third book in Hot as Hell series written by award-winning author Holly S Roberts. I truly hope there will be a book 4. As in all her other books, Holly grabs you from page one and doesn't let go until the final word. This is a motorcycle club (MC) story that can be read alone, but don't miss out on the first two (Heat, Sizzle). Hot, hot, hot.

I was so fortunate to get an early copy of this masterpiece in exchange for feedback so here it goes....I started reading this book 8 hours ago and aside from motherly duties I could not force myself to put it down!! Holly S Roberts went a little different on this one and boy did it work! Dax was like a book himself where every turn of the page showed you a different side of his complicated and often trauma filled life! He wasn't just like every other hot male character in most romance novels, he was so full of substance and personality! His new leader of the pack status changes his life for the better when he runs into the fight or die trying Sofia who is so far from his usual conquests it excites him to no end!! This book is full of unsuspecting romance with a touch of crime, abuse, and panty melting sex that you seriously MUST READ!! Do not miss out on this Hotter Than Hell series because it really is so much more than simple everyday romance!!

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review

This book is so very very good, the story of Dax will make you cry from the start of the book. And it felt like it just got worse after that, I felt that even though Dax was out of prison and with the Desert Crows he was still in a prison of pain and heartache, I don't want to give anything away because I want everyone to read this and love it as much as I did, I will admit that my normal genre is paranormal, but bad boy alpha males is my second favorite and Dax is one Bad Boy Alpha Male

Sophie has had a very very hard life, and the only think she has lived for was to end her father Frank/Fox but she finds out one day too late someone has already done that, and she wants to end that person for taking that away for her. Sophie is one hot, sassy Latino, that can take care of herself

A great addition to the Hotter Than Hell Series!!! Sofia is a HOT feisty Latino proud woman and Dax is a sexy biker. Neither of them expect to live long prosperous lives until their paths cross. This book draws you in and has you praying for a happy outcome for both these lost souls. Can they both over come the hurt they have previously suffered through no fault of their own or will they self destruct. It's a can't put down book and you will love it!!! Well done on another fantastic book Holly.

First of I want to say I absolutely love this book, It's the third book in the series. I couldn't believe all the raw emotions in this book, every emotion you read you felt in your heart. When Sofia couldn't believe what all she could have and had her break down, it broke everyone's heart, nobody should have to feel the way she did.
I don't want to ruin anything for those who haven't read it yet, but I'm glad everything worked out for everyone.

"This book was given in exchange for a fair and honest review"

I just finished reading Burn & had to write down my thoughts right away. Here it goes...

This book celebrates life & survival. I appreciated & applauded the many examples Holly used in the book & while I found it difficult to relate to the main characters I think Holly did a great job in developing them.

The beginning broke my heart & while I think Dax gets screwed in life (overall) he does the best he can with what he has. He didn't come across as excessively Alpha, but his character was fun, firm & committed to the cause. All admirable traits.

Sophia is someone I definitely didn't relate to but knew for certain she wasn't someone I'd want to cross. Her deep emotional pain is reflected but I can't help but think more could have come from that darkness. Perhaps I've been reading too much BDSM but damn this girl reeked DOM. I didn't feel compelled that her darkness was laid to rest. I feel like it's still there, simmering...

The drama of both characters was compelling. It was that background that allowed myself to open to them. The club life was intriguing and I liked how other book characters made appearances. In saying that, however, I didn't feel like I had to have read the other two books to enjoy this one.

I felt the end was a bit thrown together, but who am I to complain because I am definitely a happily ever after (HEA) kind of reader.

Overall I enjoyed this book. It was a nice, quick read & I found myself thinking of the characters throughout the day. Holly opened up my emotional cupboard & for that I give this a 'go read it' thumbs up with a smile.

Hotter Than Hell - Book 3 Burn

Dax (Dagger) Jonathan Montgomery - Husband, Father, Widower, Convict, Fighter,
Sofia Guadalupe Acosta – Daughter, Fighter, Seeks Revenge,
Dax’s first wife and unborn son were killed by a drunk driver who he killed in a moment of extreme grief. After he was released from prison he joined the MC Desert Crows. The leader Fox was a hard ass killer, drug dealer and women beater.
Sofia is the daughter of Fox. Her mother left Fox while pregnant with Sofia and disappeared. He found her once and beat her.
Sofia grew up with an attitude and learned to use her fists. When she hears about Fox going to sell a 3 year old girl to the highest bidder she determines it is time for her to kill him,
Dax has drawn the line at Fox selling the little girl and issue a challenge for the Club. The fight is to the death. Now Dax is the new Prez.
When Sofia gets to the club and finds out that Fox is already dead she pulls gun on Dax for taking away her right to kill Fox (her father) herself.
This is where I was so pulled into the story I stayed up and finished the entire book. I could not/would not put it down. You get to see Moon and Alex from books 1 and 2. And meet new good and bad guys.
The Sex is so hot that you BURN – (pun intended)
You really have to read to see how Dax and Sofia work through all of their pain and issue.
You can read as a standalone but in my opinion you need to read, Heat Book 1 and Sizzle Book 2 first

Wow, what a great book this is. Wish I could give it a 10 star rating, 5 stars just don't seem like enough.
There were a few times I cried, I laughed, and I sighed. There is romance, action, a little suspense, sizzling sex, and the book gave me a 'feel good' feeling when I was done.
Dax is an ex-con who went to prison for killing the man that drove drunk and killed his pregnant wife. Sofia is a street fighter who has lived on the idea of getting revenge on Fox, her father, the president of a MC, who she wanted to kill. When she drove across the country to take out Fox she found out that Dax had already killed him and was now the new president of the MC. Sofia didn't trust Dax and he didn't trust her at first either although they were attracted to each other. This is their story!
We get to see a little bit of Moon and Gomez and Mak from the first two books but you could read this as a stand alone book if you have too. The story kept me reading from cover to cover only stopping when company dropped in.

I was given an arc book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a terrific book! It quickly grabbed my attention and kept me turning the pages. The characters are complex with an intricate story line. Sophia is a little hard to like, but it's her raw determination will have you rooting for her. I liked that both Dax and Sophia had to work hard to get what the wanted in life and with each other, it made for a more satisfying read. I can't wait to read more from this author.

This series is my Italian food. You know how Italian food tastes better once it's been frozen and reheated. That's this series, each book just keeps getting better. I fall in love with each character the author writes about. Dax is a sexy guy who was dealt a raw hand and Sofia is a tough streetwise woman. Together they are burning hot. This is an awesome read I didn't want it to end.

>Book Review – Burn
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 3rd in the Hotter than Hell series and ends with an HEA. Dax was introduced in book 2. He takes over an MC and is attempting to turn it legit. He has to kill Sophia’s father to accomplish his goal. Sophia has never met her father. He was abusive to her mother and caused Sophia to have a less than pleasant childhood. Anger issues and a tendency to fight keep Sophia going. She travels to Arizona for the express purpose of killing her father. She gets angry at Dax to find out he beat her to it.
>Sophia is a hard character to like. She has no soft side and is prickly. Dax, however, is very easy to fall for. He is a good bad guy and has really suffered in life. Sophia has suffered also, but her actions are constantly geared towards fighting it out, instead of forgiving. She really plays up the “poor Latina” character, while getting what she wants.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. Moon and Gomez make a few appearances, which is awesome. Dax is fun to read about, as well as the MC. It is Sophia that takes a star away. She never softens. Maybe a few scenes with her as a mother would have helped.

“For years I stayed buried in my grief and anger without letting go. That shit is over and my actions from here forward will define who I want to be.”

Ok, yada yada yada… girl with a vendetta, tries to kill club prez, fails, he keeps her, yada yada…. HEA… Now on to the good stuff.

There is face riding.
There is choking.
There is sassiness.
There is tossing over his shoulder.
There is putting big alphas in their place.

This book was very different than the first two in this series. That is both good and bad. As much as I like MC romance, I was really wanting more of the feel that the first book. Yet, in hindsight, that might also be because I have an unhealthy crush on Moon.

This author is superb at giving details in a story as well as fantastic multi-dimensional characters. I love when a book makes me truly feel what they feel. She also can write some steam. Mmm hmmm.

I also love how this author explains her writing choices, random facts, or inspiration ideas at the end of each book. It adds another facet to the story.

Read and Burn 🔥

This book is so HOT it burns! Parts were a little uncomfortable for me to read. But that's what makes this story so good. Dax is an ex con that belongs to an MC club called Desert Crows. Sofia is a spicy Latino bent on killing her father, the Prez of Desert Crows. Dax beats her to it. Then the fireworks start. Holly takes me outside of my comfort zone, but I believe that's what makes this story so great. She also writes with humor. One of the best books I've read this year. From a True Fan... Pam James.

Forced relationships and non-con, while I'm cool reading it, don't earn anything higher than 1 star when it's a romance - that's not love, that's Stockholm syndrome

I was so very into this book until Dex forces her to decide - f*ck him, or be gang raped by the crew. As soon as he forced her, I checked out of this book

She's forced into being his old lady, forced into cleaning, cooking and keeping house.

Nope. I decided to DNF. I don't care how tough she is, she's ultimately a doormat -

While Moon and Gomez make small appearances, this one let's us see a different world of crime, with the Desert Crows and Dax and Sofia.
I like that the author doesn't create annoying characters in the leads. Both Dax and Sofia were great and had their problems, but you root for them. The instalove was quick. The lust and heat were good. And I loved that it ended with Masey and Jonathan. Very sweet.
Another quick, fast-paced, satisfying read.

Wonder story

Okay this series gets better and better. I still love how this author brings over characters from the other book. This was a terrific story and I could not put it down Sophia was a real spitfire and I loved her. This story had me laughing and crying oh, and also hot. This is a must read and now I must hurry to the next. But then I will be so sorry when this ends

3.5 Stars. I'm tempted to say this is my favorite of the three books. So far this series is doing okay. This book does not follow the same formula from the first two and had two MC's that I really liked. Sofia was kickass and I loved her. Dax was fine but Sofia stole the show. This book was actually too short and I hope we see a lot more of Dax and Sophia in the future.

These two definitely lived up to the title! A little bit wild, a whole lot of attitude, and, hearts that bear deep and lasting scars. They shouldn’t work, but they do. They shouldn’t fit, yet they do. They shouldn’t have their HEA, but they will not be denied<3
