Bigger is always better.

I hate Bull Dixon. He’s everything that’s wrong with the NFL: hot, cocky, covered in tattoos, and a total bad boy. All he cares about is drinking, partying, and getting laid.

Which is why I’m going to write the story that brings him down.

But as soon as we meet, I realize that Bull is not what he seems. That’s a problem, because the mafia is after him and I’m stuck in the middle.

Soon I find myself pressed up against his balcony, blushing and trying not to give in to him. His enormous body could break me in two—and part of me wants him to.

Bull is such a d*ck, but I can’t walk away from him.

Not now that I’m pregnant.

All it took was one night and we’re trapped together. The mafia wants to use me to take him down, but I won’t let them. I despise the prick, but I can’t help but love that he wants me.

I need to find a way to stop hating him before the mafia tears us both to pieces.

BULL is action-packed, incredibly steamy, and features some dirty language. It’s only recommended for audiences 18+.

BULL is a standalone, full-length novel. No cliffhanger. Guaranteed HEA.

This edition also includes TWO free bonus books, which means BULL ends around the 30% mark. Enjoy!

Raging BULL!

This was my first book by author B.B. Hamel and I enjoyed it more than expected. I was pleasantly surprised by the author’s writing style, the pretty good story line and the well-developed characters.

Charlotte Williams (aka Charley) is a sports journalist, working her way up the world. She wants to write for the big leagues and to do so, she busted her ass and graduated at the top of her class. Somehow, she landed an internship and was finally noticed. She was then, given a provisional position as junior copywriter at NSPN network…first step on her long professional journey. For her, football is skill and athletics and emotions, a little slice of life shoved into a sport. Wanting to write a good article that will help skyrocket her career, she decides to tell the story of Trent "Bull" Dixon, the linebacker for the Chicago Bears. Charley despises him with a force. He represents the perfect opposite of the family-friendly image the NFL worked so hard to cultivate and she’s determined to take him down. When she gets her first insider contact among the players who invited her to one of Bull’s legendary parties, she doesn't want to pass up the opportunity to collect some dirt on him.

Bull plays hard and lives even harder. He’s the epitome of bad boy in and out of the field. He has a knack for throwing the best, wild and most over-the-top parties in the whole league. Bull is a machine and a legend with a reputation of being one of the most violent men in all of football. He’s a badass and he’s hung like his namesake. He also has his own secrets that he guards and protects, which involve the mob.

From the very first meeting the attraction between Charley and Bull is instantaneous and undeniable. But when Charley witnessed something bad during the party, she understands that there is a story there, a bigger one than she could have guessed. A tragic accident that will lead to terrible consequences further along the line.

Bull is a hot, cocky, arrogant and hard headed Alpha male, but he’s also so much more. Once Charley gets to know him, she realizes that Bull isn't the man she thinks he is and she starts having second thoughts. She's not quite sure she can go through with her article anymore. FIERY HOT PASSION ignites and unexpected emotions awake. Soon their red-hot desire is scorching the sheets and has them both spinning out of control. A thrilling attraction unlike anything they’d ever felt or experienced before. But when the truth comes to light, someone’s bound to get burned. And Bull’s involvement with the mob is about to get them into a whole lot of trouble…

This story flowed smoothly and effortlessly and the sex between the leads was intense and off-the- charts HOT. I liked how the author portrayed this dynamic duo and how they complemented each other perfectly. Even if it took me a few chapters to warm up to Charley, considering her judgmental way of thinking when it comes to Bull, but once I did I enjoyed her performance. I also would have loved to get more twists and turns with the mafia element and the whole Rafa situation…

Overall, I found this book entertaining and captivating from start to finish. If you’re looking for an action-packed and incredibly steamy read with a great couple and a sweet HEA, this one is for you.

On a side note, BULL ends around the 30% mark as this edition includes two free bonus books of B.B. Hamel - Kissing the Killer and a Step-brother MMA Romance, which were both also deliciously naughty and enjoyable. :))

I didn't like either character. Bull was so crude and Charlotte was wishy washy.

Not sure why Dee's character??

I've read better by this author.

When journalist Charlotte wants to write a story exposing NFL Bull Dixon she never thought she would see a different side of him then what was written. Having lied to Bull about her job but little does she know that Bull knows exactly who she is. With Bull having ties to the mafia they come after Charley and threatens her to write the article she wanted to write but Charley is fallen for Bull, but Bull can't deal with the betrayal and there relationship is over. When Charley gets shocking news it changes everything? Will they both get away from the mob? Great story and love the characters. Can't wait to read the next story from B.B

Wow, loved this book. Bull is a linebacker with the Chicago Bears, and his reputation is wild and tough. Charley is a new reporter who is determined to write Bull’s story and expose him for what he is. Is everything as it appears though? Can you believe everything that you read? These two characters are awesome, and the chemistry between them is smouldering.
This is a really well written story, and as always I highly recommend this authors work.

More than meets the eyes

B.B. Hamel knows how to draw you in! Bull is a cocky, arrogant SOB that everyone wants to get close to. Charlotte is this feisty go getter sports journalist that wants to prove that women are just as good as men.. or better. Does Charlotte have what is takes have with it takes to be taken seriously? What happens when the Bull of destruction gets in her way? Can Bull stick to the code to not fraternize with the enemy? You need to read this book and find out just what lies deeper than what the media shows.

Good read but the synopsis is misleading

The synopsis and the title mention the “secret baby” but that doesn’t even come into play until late in the book. The story itself was fun with lots of heat and dirty talk with some humor. It fell apart a little at the end but was overall a fun read.

OK we get it. They call you bull because you're hung like one. Woo hoo, you have a big dick...
Of course you're a giant jerk but you have a heart of gold. She's a good girl that gets into a bad spot. They save each other, blah blah blah...

The story line itself is good but the characters leave a lot to be desired. Charley has to be the dumbest girl I have ever read. Her character made bad choices just to keep the story going and she just showed so much immaturity. So niave for a female sports writer

OH....EM......GEE!!!!!!!!!!!! Yummy! Delicious! More Please!!!!
I love the fact that I am a girl from Indiana and a Chicago Bears fan (minus the current QB - another time and another place) This book's character Bull is from Indiana and a Chicago Bears player.......PERFECTION!!!! Thank you BB Hamel for this book. Now where to begin??....

Bull Dixon, as mentioned above is from Indiana and now a huge successful Chicago Bears player. He is a lean, mean, bullying/killing machine. In his sport is is older than most of the other players, but that only makes him work for his glory all the more. Not only is he a successful football player, he is a class A cocky SOB that will stop at nothing to get what he wants. He parties as hard as he plays and he has irons in every fire....some by choice others he inherited. He is arrogant, thinks he is better than all, and he will be your worst nightmare if you cross him. So why is he feeling strange around the innocent looking girl that just walked into one of his parties?

Charlotte (AKA Charley because her dad wanted a boy so bad) is a reporter for a big name sports channel. She knows of Bull and hates him, she feels strongly about this and that will never change. So she ends up meeting a friend and being invited to one of the well known parties of Bull's....well who cares she is there to bring him to his knees. She doesn't care if she hurts him, someone needs to. So why is it she sees a different side to him at this party with the tragic event that happened? Why is it she keeps thinking about that and he suddenly gets a hold of her?

He has mafia ties, and the mafia is onto him having his eye on the little reporter. Bull slips up and says her name while talking to his mafia guy. Now Bull is worried about her so he gets a hold of her (yes he called the creep she went to the party with, who Charley turned down cold in the repayment department and Randy is pretty sore about it....giving Bull her number so he can use and abuse her, bonus) Bull will not take no for an answer and "asks" her on a date, Charley is not going willingly....no way she will make him work for it. She does relent and this is where ALL the good stuff begins.....

You can see her change her opinion and fight with her inner demon about being sent to write a story about Bull to end all, and Bull changes too. He gets a kiss and then he is hooked, he just didn't realize that ONE girl could have that much hold on him, and it scares him a lot. Things change between the two of them, and incidents happen. There is a moment when they break up and the weeks between are hard on both of them, more him in ways, and others are harder on her. Then a discovery that should make people happy shows up. She is going to face the demon named Bull and set the record straight. You didn't think the mafia was done yet either, did you?

There is SO much that is happening in this book, it was really a hard one to tear myself away from it. AWESOME book, awesome sex, and an awesome ending for the whole thing. You have GOT to read this book. All the good parts, the parts that make you cringe and everything in between. Guarantee you will be glad you get this book!

Standalone romance about a sports journalist who goes undercover and finds a whole other side of the story with this NFL bad boy player.

Whenever you read a B.B. Hamel book you know to expect it to be well written, a strong plot, some very explicit sexual content and language that won’t be to everyone’s taste, a typical alpha bad boy, plenty of action and of course a happily ever after. And Bull is all that and more.

Told through dual points of views, the two main characters, Trent ‘Bull’ Dixon and Charlotte ‘Charley’ Williams, were fairly likeable, Bull more so once you get to know him. They had a great chemistry that developed throughout the book and both had sides to their personalities that you would not expect. Bull is an NFL player and typical alpha male who is tattooed, very dirty talking and has a dominating side but also a protective and softer side to him too. In contrast, Charley is a relatively quiet, inexperienced, sports journalist who goes undercover to get her story and gets more than bargained which has her questioning what really matters to her more; her story and career or her own feelings and morals.

As already stated, the book is well written and had a good flow to it; I personally found that the author managed to get a good natural balance with the romance and the drama, especially with moving along the relationship between the couple in a way that fit with the storyline perfectly. There were some predictable elements and some twists thrown in that I didn’t fully expect. In true B.B Hamel style, while the book is mostly a sports romance with a baby theme, there is a crossover with some mafia drama throw in too. One other thing I will say is despite this book incorporating a sports theme don’t be put off if you aren’t into sports because the book is so much more than that and very easy to follow along (with enough sport included to satisfy any sports fans).

Yes, I would recommend this book, especially if you enjoy a standalone sports baby romance with a grittier tone and edge to it.

*I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.

Cocky doesn't even begin to describe the character that is Bull Dixon. He is so self-assured that no one can burst his bubble. He knows he's a bad boy both on and off the field and he wears that title proudly. He does what he wants when he wants, whether it is at the parties he throws or if it's on the field playing for the Chicago Bears. When one of his teammates shows up at his party with the beautiful Charley on his arm, Bull sees something else he wants, and is determined to get it.

Charley is a journalist for a major sports network and finds a way to get insider information on NFL player Bull Dixon. Everyone knows he's a bad boy, but she can't stand how he plays and thinks there is even more about him if the rumors are to be believed. She wants the story and the truth about what kind of man Bull really is. But when she gets introduced to him at his party, he's not at all what she expected. Cocky, yes. Arrogant, no doubt. Sexy as hell, yup! But he also seems a whole lot nicer than what she ever expected. When he begins to pursue her, his dirty talking makes her blush, but heats her up in unexpected ways. Their sex is hot and not at all what Charley was expecting to like and crave so much. The more she gets to know Bull, the less Charley wants to write a story about all of his dirty little secrets. But when the mafia gets involved, she's unsure of what to do.

I liked this story for the most part--Bull was crass but you could tell how much he wanted Charley, and not just for sex. Charley was a great character that was being pulled in too many directions and unsure of what to do. There were a few things that didn't really do it for me with this story. One, I don't like when the book blurb gives too much of the book away, which definitely happens here. The pregnancy doesn't happen like you think and is way later in the book. The mafia thing also seems less than believable with how it gets portrayed and how quickly it gets wrapped up. Still a good read but I think some little changes could have made it better.

Football is not just a sport, it is a way of life and while Charley were never going to play, it didn’t mean she couldn’t get involved, which is how she got into journalism. Bull has injured more players than anyone else in the history of football; blood and destruction that is how Bull played linebacker for the Chicago Bears. Bull plays hard and lives even harder and there were rumors all over the NFL about his involvement in all night parties, gambling, women, drugs and so much more; Bull is into it all. Everyone knew what was going on with Bull, but nobody has the courage to confront him and really prove it. Charley was going to write the article that finally took Bull down; he was a disgrace to the league and Charley hated him more than anything else – that is until she actually meets him in person and her whole perspective changes. Charley begins to get close to Bull; he knows she is a reporter but doesn’t let on. As they get to know each other, Charley sees both the good and bad sides of Bull, as he divulges more intimate details about his past, but Bull is outraged when Charley is caught taking photographs in his house. The Mob were an underlying factor in Bull’s life, but there is a twist when Charley becomes embroiled in the Mob’s plans, and although all along she has convinced herself she will not write a story about Bull, she is put into a situation where she finds she no longer has an option. Meanwhile, Bull wants to let go of the prideful anger he feels towards Charley because he has an intense connection with her he can barely explain. Bull has let her into his world and now he doesn’t want to let her go. Charley gives Bull the opportunity for them to reconnect when she confesses a secret and it is now time for Bull to step up and be a man again. The author has a unique way of enticing her readers into each of her stories and this one is no exception. It is intriguing, has lots of different facets to keep it interesting and is an exceptional read, one I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending. Bull was a professional Football player with a bad reputation on and off the field. Off the field he had a bad reputation for all night parties, gambling, woman drugs and more. On the field he had a reputation for injuring the most players in the whole history of the sport. His name Bull suited him both on and off the field. On the field he was like a raging bull who just see's red and off the field well let's just say rumour has it he is hung like a bull lol. A Bad Boy Through and through! But Charley is an under cover reporter trying to get a good story on him. But after meeting him she see's that there is another side to Bull. She is torn between getting ahead in her career and The real Bull. She can see how he does live the life that he is rumoured to live but she finds there is more to Bull then that. He as a softer side, when she see's him giving CPR to a hooker who died in his apartment and looks deeper into his past she realises he is a good guy at heart who just got caught up with the wrong people from an early age ie... The Mafia! But just when Charley realises she can't betray his trust and his love like this and can't write a story on him he catches her snooping and finishes things with her. She also gets threatened by the mafia to write the story! Can she win him back or does she have to write the story to save her life. Wow! What a great storyline. This is the first story I've read from this author and I must say I was impressed and will be reading more. The characters are really something. Bull with his Bad Reputation, Yes he is a little on the rough side but just caring enough to make you like him. And Charley I didn't like her at first tricking him the way she was but I soon warned to her when she saw the error of her ways. I was sent this book by the author in exchange for a honest review! And I loved it definitely worth the 5 stars in my eyes.

Arc copy for an honest review.
Football/Mafia based romance. Hard hitting fighting machine Bull is a force to be reckoned with both on and off the pitch, his profile is bad all the way or at least what is known. Having ended up involved with the Mafia because of his waste of space father, he is stuck with them. Charley is a reporter, stuck with low impact coverage reports. Dreaming of reporting on sports events, but she detests Bull and his behavior. Getting a chance to cover a game and ask him a question and getting the asshole answer but also getting invited to the after game party, she decides to write an article on him. With violence, threats and scare tactics this is a fast paced read. Suspense is the name of the game you are reading, with sexual content that is hot off the press and a few twists along the way to keep you hooked. I love when you start a book and you think you have it all sussed out only to find it isn’t what you think, the unexpected changes it all. Both these characters have a strong sense of right and wrong, and just because both at times appear to come across as doing wrong you have to read through to find out the whys of it. Written with the creativity I always get with a BB Hamel story, she never lets me down giving me the hot and steamy sex with the dirty talk, a bit of mystery, threats and violence that she’s known for. I am always stuck fast to the pages, having to force myself to put it down in order to sleep and picking it up again as soon as I wake to finish it. Her books always get me hot and bothered, often needing relief as much as the characters themselves and this is no exception.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we meet Trent "Bull" Dixon and Charlotte. Charlotte is a junior sports reporter who is trying to get the big story to get her noticed by her boss. She thinks that Bull will be her ticket into that on air position. The problem is the more she finds out about Bull and those around him the more she questions her decision to do this piece. She finds that she wants to get to know the man not for her story but because she might just be falling for him. Can she get what she needs for her carrier without losing the man or will all be lost in the end?

Bull knows what the press writes about him, he actually plays into that persona. The problem is when one of his teammates brings this girl to one of his parties he can't get her out of his mind. When he learns she is just a journalist he wonders if he can get her out of his system without exposing himself. The thing is the more time he spends with her the more he finds himself exposing and not really caring if he does. He wonders can he have it all or will the girl he finds himself falling for will be the final nail in his coffin?

This is a great story about finding love in the most unlikely places. Also it shows us that you should never judge a book by it's cover because what you think you know might just be the face they are putting only on for others. This book has many twists and turns I really want to tell you about but don't want to ruin it for anyone. This book is amazing and will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

BULL: A Secret Baby Sports Romance by B. B. Hamel

Sexlicious 5 Stars and more!!!

This book holds more than just Bull's fabulous story. Omg so much more. All deliciously naughty and captivating.

BULL and Charlotte's story is about a famous football star and the reporter who wants to destroy him. Will Emma get the scoop on the playboy or will she get run over by the Bull. So good lol.

Kissing the Killer is Brooks and Emma's story. It's about a Mafia hitman and a witness to a murder he was supposed to kill. He will go against the code he lives by. She believes she is actually been rescued from her abusive father when Brooks kills him. But she spoons find out she's escaped one prison for another. Yet this one is going to be her undoing, especially in the bedroom. This book is over the top down and dirty, Squealing.

A Step-brother MMA Romance is Cole and Alexa's story. Where a vacation trip in Thailand leads to a drunken night for them both. Neither realized the Deluxe Packagers at the all night marriage chapel, like the ones in Vegas, Bought and paid for thinking it was for fun the so called fake marriage is legit. Oh crap lol And after a year Alexandria still can't find him till a visit home to meet his dad's latest wife. Lol can you expect what happens next,, bet not. It's crazy lol.

This author is a go to for me. If she writes it, I'm going love it. This book was no different. Our H is Bull Dixon and our h is Charlotte or Charley.

Charley is a newbie journalist and has decided on the story that will be the making of her career. She is going to expose the NFL's very own Bull Dixon and all his dirty deeds. Charley hates Bull because she sees him as a cocky football player that only cares about getting laid, partying and destroying opponents on the field. She finds an in to get close to Bull and slowly starts being included in his world. Charley soon finds out that while everything about Bull isn't perfect, he also isn't the man she thinks he is.

Bull plays up his bad boy ways. He throws huge parties with hookers and drugs, sleeps with tons of women and is stuck paying the Mafia more and more money. When he meets Charley, he is attracted to her but he figures he can forget her. When he stupidly mentions her to the Mafia, he knows he needs to be around her to make sure nothing happens.

Charley, I didn't like at first. She was so dead set on Bull being a horrible person that when she saw good sides of him, she looked over them. Bull was great. He had ended up dealing with the mafia because of someone else but knew that he needed to protect Charley as soon as she was on their radar. He was also a dirty talking alpha male which was perfect.

I have read quite a few books written by BB Hamel and this book is another winner which I absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed reading. This story covers Charlotte Williams (aka Charley) a reporter for NSPN website and one of the largest sport networks and she wants to find out all the dirt on Trent Dixon (aka Bull) a tall tattooed violent football player who throws wild parties, gambles, has a different woman every night and there a rumors of drugs involved. When Charlotte turns up at one of his parties with Ryan (a fellow football player) Bull notices her and then has his eyes firmly on her. What you will find in this story is, a arrogant alpha male, a nosy reporter, drama, suspense, intrigue, parties, hookers, drug overdose, attempted CPR, mafia, a sex toy present, visiting sick children, going out, shakedown by mafia, blackmail, threatened, going ahead with story, visiting his home, getting caught with camera, thrown out, breakup, unplanned pregnancy,, disbelief, payoff, still on team, emotional feelings, romance and steamy hot erotic scenes. The story-line and plot is well thought and written with just the right amount of drama, suspense and intrigue. The characters have individual personalities with arrogance, determination, fears and desires. I would recommend this book to people that like to read a exceptionally well written sport romance from a talented author.

I received this for a honest review. B.B. Hamel always writes some really hot stories and this one is no exception.

Charlotte was a nobody reporter. Her dad had always wanted her to have the love of the game so when she decided to be a sports reporter he made him so happy.

Bull was a linebacker for the Chicago Bears. He lived a very wild life. Of course the reports went wild with he stories so not everything out there was true. Bull was a type of guy that if he did not like what was out there then he would make it go away. yeah he had those type of connections.

Charlotte is determined to write a story about Bull. She wants to reveal the truth about him. She truly wants to bring him down. So she decides to worm her way in to one of his parties. What she was not excepting was Bull taking her breathe way.

Things will get hot and heavy between Bull and Charlotte. Charlotte will start having second thoughts. It is not long before Charlotte will find herself being threaten and she will be forced to do things she does not want to do.

This was such a great story and glad I got a chance to read it.

Another great romance from an awesome author. This story moved at a good pace and well written. Charley (Charlotte) is a aspiring journalist looking for that story to make it big in the industry. She is given the opportunity to get a story about the infamous "Bull" who is a tough football player with a wild reputation. He does not get involved with journalists - NEVER. Charley is drawn to Bull and finds that he is not what everyone thinks, he has a sweeter side that she has the opportunity to see. But just when she decides she does not want to write the story that may end his career and expose his wild side enter the mafia and the story takes some twists and turns. They have been blackmailing Bull since the passing of his parents, relying on his money to fund them in exchange for their keeping him out of the news on and off the internet. But Bull has had enough and now they are going after Charley threatening to destroy her reputation and journalism career if she does not write a story on Bull that will expose all his secrets.

Wow ! What an absolute treat it was reading Bull's story !
While reading the first chapters I already felt this book was going to be on the top of my favorite books list and when finished ,I definitely wasn't disappointed.
From start to finish I could not put it down and devoured every page going through all the twists and turns . I really suck for the cocky bad boy in a story and this fabulous and exciting story has it all ; a swoonworthy delicious bad boy , lust, passion, suspense, hot sizzling scorching sex , intrigue , danger , excitement , the Mafia , even a secret baby and indeed sooo much more !!!
I 'm not gonna give too much away by spoiling the whole story but I just want to tell that this is a MUST read !!
This is a fabulous writing BB , simply freaking fabulous and I really LOVED the journey you took me on with Bull Dixon and Charley Williams

Wow!!! What an amazing story.... Charley is a journalist for NSPN and wants to get the dirt on one football player who is known for having a bad reputation but no one was ever able to prove any of it. Well Charley is determined to proved everything and so much more. She has a way inside now and she is going to take advantage of this little party... Or so she thinks.... Trent "Bull" Dixon is the epitome of bad boy in football and Charlotte is bound and determined to take him down. When she finally gets the chance to meet him at one of his famous parties she didn't think she would be so drawn to him. While she spends more time with him he shows her that not all of his image is who he truly is and there is so much more to him than the rumors that fly. Now she has to decide if she can really write a story about him that could destroy him. When she finally decides what to do though she is caught by Bull and then by the mob that surround Bull. I have never been disappointed with a book from B.B. Hamel and this one had me hooked from the first page! There is a depth to Bull that he doesn't show most people and Charley ends up being what his life was missing. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

B B Hamel knows how to write a steamy story!! This book was hard to put down. It's about a low level sports journalist who takes it upon herself to destroy a certain football player that doesn't care who he hurts on the field. If "Bull" doesn't break bones during a game, he didn't play it right, that's his philosophy. While on her journey to get info about her article she finds out about his connection to the mob, while watching a hooker OD at one of his parties. She also sees another side of him when he tries to save her, while everybody else is trying to leave as fast as they can. The mob go after Charley and attemp to blackmail her. Bull tries to disconnect his ties to the mob. Will they make it or will the mob take them both down ? Read the book to find out!!

I received this book as an ARC in exchange for a honest review and I really like it, B.B. Hamel doesn't disappoint. I love reading sports romances and BULL was no exception, it was a fun read. The plot is full with lots of drama, humor, action, a sexy arrogant football player, a young sexy and smart sports magazine writer, bad reputations, drugs, some interesting second characters and a little of danger with the mafia. This's the story of Trent "BULL" Dixon, linebacker for the Chicago Bears ( My Favorite Football Team ) and Charlotte "Charley", a new journalist working for the NSPN network who wants to write and expose on BULL. What happen when these 2 get together? There chemistry is super hot!! What will she find about the bad boy?? What could possibly go wrong? This story will keep you interested until the very end. No spoilers for this one!GO BUY IT!!!
