Long ago, after she was worshipped as a goddess on the plains of Africa, Storm was stripped of her mutant powers and fell into deep depression. A brilliant inventor named Forge came to her rescue and nursed her back to health, showing her that she is so much more than her superhuman abilities. And a romance blossomed between them. But it was a love made to be broken. Now, years later, Storm has the powers and stature of a goddess once more, and she is reunited with Forge. But what does fate have in store for the pair this time?

Not as impressed, mostly because of the art. Storm looks COMPLETELY different than she appeared in issues 1 and 2. Story is OK, but I found it hard to engage when the art was so different.
3 stars. Really solid plot and I liked the reunion between Ororo and Forge. That was nice but that art style in this one was not good. They lightened Ororo's skin and it's a completely new style and I am not a fan at all. Everyone looked awful.
I didn't feel the story much but it was exciting to know that Storm was going back to Africa where she was worshipped as a goddess. She didn't know that Forge was around, trying to help people get some water/rain.
While the colors were good, the art was something that I didn't appreciate. The last page was awesome though.
Storm continues to be thoroughly badass. This particular issue continues the delving into her past (which is great for an X-Men noob like myself), and it continues the excellent characterization from the first two issues.
Not as good of art on this one, though the colorwork is gorgeous. Writing is quality even if the events of this one aren't particularly as interesting. Solid work!
