*A string of murders point to a hybrid killer.

*A girl on the run is dropped off at Charming's door.

*His previously well-ordered world has turned into one big hot mess.

For six years humans have lived in peace with the human-animal hybrids known as the EXILED, integrating, intermarrying, and sharing culture. Despite his youth, Charming reluctantly accepted the role of leader and gained the respect of hybrids and humans alike. Everything has been progressing smoothly until a series of human murder victims begin turning up with evidence pointing to a hybrid killer.

While Charming is struggling to manage a city in crisis with fear and racial tension, Rosie Storm arrives unexpectedly, leaves a human female for him to protect, and disappears without leaving a way to reach her. At the worst possible time, he finds himself with an unwelcome guest sporting ingratitude and a body that has him thinking twice about dating humans.

This is the third book in the Exiled Series by Victoria Danann. While you could read this one alone, you would be missing so much. Each book is wonderful. In fact I would also suggest reading The Black Swan series as well or any of Ms. Danann's books. She is a master storyteller and she creates such amazing characters. You won't be sorry.

In Farsuitwail, where the Exiled live, Charming has his hands full dealing with a series of murders. The victims are all human and it looks like they were killed by one of the Exiled. He doesn't need any more complications, but that is exactly what he gets when everybody's favourite witch/demon Rosie shows up. She lived with the Exiled for a short time and thinks it is the perfect place for the troubled girl she rescued in New York. Ana hasn't had an easy life and has a lot of trust issues. She was betrayed by the man she thought she loved. It's only because she is running for her life that she allows Rosie to find a sanctuary for her. Ana and Charming are just about to have their whole lives turned upside down.

Can two people from such different worlds fall in love. Perhaps even more important, will they ever be willing to take the risk of admitting that love? Sometimes we are blinded by our fears and doubts. We let the past control our future.

This story takes place several years after CRAVE. After the Exiled destroyed their enemies the Rautt, they took on the responsibility of the Rautt orphans. They are now teenagers. Some have moved out of Crave and Dandy's home and come to the city to finish their education. Dread and his brother and sister have started their studies. We get more of his story and the other orphans in this book.

This is a tale filled with love, trust, betrayal, and courage. It is so timely since it does explore the fear and suspicion of people who are different. When things go wrong, it is all to easy to place the blame on one group or another. Victoria Danann never takes the easy way out, but she always makes it a totally enjoyable ride.

“As long as I’m with you, this is where I belong”

Hybrid Charming is the glue ,as Leader, that keeps the Exiled(hybrids) and the humans living peacefully together in the town of Farsuitwell. But someone is murdering young humans and it's looking like a hybrid is responsible....or is it?

Enter Ana.....from another dimension....she finds purpose, a new world and love...and she "smells like cookies"....who knew hybrids (one in particular) loved cookies so much"

"Charming" (and he is) is the third book in the Exiled series...Ms. Danann has continued this saga in another dimension of hybrids and humans with mystery, romance, and yes a HEA.... I suggest reading the first 2 books in the series..."Carnal" and "Crave" ( the other 2 brothers) but "Charming" would be just as interesting and entertaining as a standalone.

I've really enjoyed this series and recommend this and all books written by Victoria Danann....❤️❤️

This book has everything, from a lost soul to young man carrying the world (or in this case a newly merged community) on his shoulders. It explores the characters need to make their way and fill the voids in their souls. The characters are strong. The story is fast paced with a murder mystery added just to shake things up. I recommend this book. Victoria never disappoints.

The third brother does not disappoint!! It takes a lot to be able to keep a cool head in tough situations and Charming does it fantastically! Super excited with where the Exiled series went and hoping there is more coming!

First of all the book is by Victoria Dannan! Than in itself makes it awesome! Charming the youngest son of Free the leader of the Exiles has had to take over the job of leader. He wasn't happy with it but he's doing such a great job of it everyone is impressed. He hot and a know's what he is doing. Now back in the first book of this series we met Rosie, she's the daughter of Sir Storm a Knight of the Black Swans and her mother is Litha a half demon witch who also works for the Black Swans. Rosie find's someone that needs help real quick and the first thing she can think of is taking this young girl off with Charming! He has his hand's full right now with a killer on the lose that could be a hybrid or a human. Charming does not want this and tell's Rosie so! But given time thing's start to change and maybe it wasn't such a bad idea! But your gonna have to read it to find out what happens. What is this girl running from? Who's doing the killing? And poor Charming is in the middle of everything! Great characters and a fabulous story line! Victoria Dannan has another hot book!

This third book in the Exiled series is on par for Ms Danann's gift for story telling. There is so much happening in the series that it would be best to read from the beginning in order to completely understand the premise.

The story definitely captures your attention from the get go, with the conditions encountered and the affects on the story, not to mention Charming's capture your heart character, the reader will be captivated until the very end. As this series continues, I'm looking forward to where Ms Danann takes the series next.

This is book 3 in this series and it doesn't let you down at all!! I think this book had at charm all of its own. I really enjoyed the characters that were in the first two books getting updates on them, that probably is my favorite part of a series and Victoria does it fabulously. I've always loved Rosie and while she makes brief appearance in this book it's always great to hear about her. But my favorite part of book 3 is the unexpected Charming falling in love even if he is the last one to know, but for him it's really expected he thinks of everyone else and then himself. I'm really hoping for a book four or five in the series let's hope the author agrees

CHARMING is the third book in the Exiled Series. The Exiled Series is a branch off of Victoria Danann’s Knights of Black Swan Series. In order to understand what has happened you will want to read the first two books in this series CARNAL and CRAVE. That way when you read CHARMING you will understand what is going on and why. I think out of all three books this one is my favorite. Ms Danann has a bewitching way of weaving words into the most fabulous adventures. You can’t go wrong with this book and series.

Charming finally gets his story and life isn't easy, especially when you're the leader of humans and hybrids alike, add in the new hybrids and things getting even more tricky. This book left me in awe and not sure how to explain the other emotions. Now I'm wanting more about Raze, Dread, and Ember. Loved Ana's attitude and how fast she learns. Loved seeing Rosie again even for the brief moment. Victoria Danann really knows how to hook me and never let me go.

This has been a disappointing series for me, but I wanted to see how things played out for Charming, because he was one of the few whose character I actually enjoyed in the previous books. This was probably my favorite. Charming at least had a gentlemen like feel to his character unlike his siblings. I guess this is the end of the series, but even if it weren’t I'd call it quits with this one.

3.5* but will round to 4* out of loyalty.

It really pains me to say, but I found Charming underwhelming. With Both Carnal and Crave being such emotionally charged installments, this one just cruised . The resolution of the murder-misery and the epilogue felt rushed and too compressed so while I have enjoyed the series altogether, Charming ended up as my least favorite of the lot.

*I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

Charming is the third and final book in the Exiled series. It takes us into the new world where humans and EXILED live in harmony, or well they’re trying to at least. With humans being murdered it’s looking more and more like someone doesn’t want the harmonization.

Throughout the series I’ve watched Charming grow up and become the leader he is, but getting to know him up close and personal made me witness the kind of man he truly is. He works hard because he doesn’t want to let anyone down, even if the weight of the world is pushing him further down everyday his people come first.

Ana couldn’t catch a break. After her father died everything just circled around until it slowly went completely down the drain. Thank goodness she literally runs into Rosie (which by the way I missed and was glad to her make a reappearance in the series) who offers her a permanent rescue. No one would ever find her where Rosie dropped her off.

Forced to be roommates Charming and Ana try to make the best of it. She gets to know the town and even learns a trade. He gets peace from her presence, when she’s not driving him crazy that is. As the days fly by they become closer until one night a grand gesture is made; one that definitely does not go as planned and it forces two people to realize their true feelings.

I loved Charming and Ana’s story, but it wasn’t as moving as Carnal and Crave. It does, however, have a little more suspense.

My Favorite Laughable Moment: Charming loves his cookies…a little too much.

“Those were mine!” roared Charming.

Scar freed himself from Charming’s grip and then said, “I paid for them.”

“She gave them to me!”

I was given this book by the author in exchange for an honest review that being said let's get on with the review.
If you haven't read books one and two in this wonderful series you're missing a lot so go back and read them before you start this one.
In this book Charming has grown up into the strong but lonely leader of the Exiled. He spends his days taking care of business for the Exiled and the humans and his evenings with other hybrids but still alone.
Ana is a young woman living on the street who is rescued by Rosie and transported to Farsuitwail for her safety. "Dropped like a bomb" into Charming's living room and life by Rosie, he takes her under his protection. With Charming being the leader of the hybrids and working with the humans he's under a lot of stress especially when the murders of young human males starts. No one is sure if the murders are being committed by a hybrid or are being committed by a human trying to destroy the human hybrid relations. Nobody is ready for the answers and I was totally off the mark in who I thought was committing the murders. There is a wonderfully sweet slow build up to the realization by Charming that he's fallen in love with the human Ana. But with what he's done can she forgive him and admit she loves him too?
This is another awesome book by Ms. Danann and I really hope that there are more books coming in this series because I love the Exiled, their world and their lives. Thank you Ms. Danann for allowing me a peek into this exciting and amazing world.

This is the third book in the Exiled Series and although it can be read as a stand-alone it is much better to have read books one and two first to understand all the dynamics/relationships.

Charming has reluctantly taken over more of a leadership role of the Exiled in partnership of the humans after his dad has stepped down to take care of his mother. Lately there have been humans murdered in Farsuitwail at it looks like it is one of the Exiled who has committed them. The last thing he expects is for Rosie Storm to drop off a human named Ana at his place for safe keeping.

Ana is on the run in New York and has no idea that Rosie is about to change her world and bring her to a place she never ever imagined existed.

As Ana and Charming grow closer they must figure out how is committing the murders before the killer strikes closer to home.

I really enjoyed this last book and a look at the last brother, Charming. He has stepped up to help his people in a position he really doesn't want. Yet he does the job well and is a very well respected member of society.

Ana is lost but as I learned more about her background it was easy to understand why she was in the position she was. I loved how quickly she learned how to bake cookies and how she did want to be part of what was around her. I felt so bad for her the one night and I'm glad everything got resolved!!

Such a great and unique series!!

Carla's Five Star Review

Charming is the third book in the Exiled series. To have a better understanding of the characters and the story line, you need to read Carnal and Crave, the previous books in this series before reading this one. We first met Charming in Carnal, and I couldn't wait for his story! As per her usual, Victoria Danann did not disappoint!

Charming is the youngest son of Free, the former leader of the Exiled. Due to circumstances out of his control, Charming is forced to step into his father's role as leader. While this isn't really a role he really ever desired, he steps up and handles the job quite well. All he ever does is work never realizing how lonely he is until Ana storms into his life.

Ana is a street kid who, thanks to her loser boyfriend, finds herself in serious danger. When Rosie, a close friend of Charming's family, steps in and rescues her, Ana finds herself living with a complete stranger in an even stranger new world.

For fear of spoilers, I am not going to provide any further details about the story line, but I will say Ms. Danann has crafted a story/series that will draw you in from the very beginning! One click this series now! I promise you will be glad you did!

I have a new BBGF. Ana is great. She held her own with Rosie. Such a lost soul she was. I am so grateful she ran into Rosie. It is no wonder she captured Charming's heart. There were so many parts that caught my interest. The Baking/Cookie making. Learning to cook watching others at their job. That is how I learned also. One of my favorite quotes "Happily embedded in warm cookie? You made Cookie Poetry." In true Victoria Danann fashion. I was roaring out loud with laughter, at times I was sobbing along the the characters in the book. VD pulls at all of my emotions. This whole Exiled series is some of the best work Victoria has done. This whole series has been an amazing Journey. It has all of the points I go for in a book. Action & Adventure. Suspence, Romantic love scenes. Why read a romance book with out that. I propose a toast To Victoria for another amazing book. Why wait to join in on the Journey, get your copy today and be a part of this wonderful adventure. From a true Forever Fan... Pam James.

It has been 6 years since the Rautt were destroyed and the Exiled adopted their orphans, and now the orphans are growing up and some are moving out to become productive members of the community. They have integrated into the human and Exiled population seamlessly, or so it seems.

A terrified young woman in need of a place to hide meets the perfect rescuer in Rosie, who will help her start a new life in a strange new world with beings that Rosie has never seen before. When Rosie shows up in Farsuitwail after disappearing 6 years ago, Charming is shocked, and when she says she needs him to house a woman in hiding, he may not want to do it, but Rosie always gets her way. Charming is even more put off to realize that Ana is feisty, sarcastic, belligerent, and not so easily handled. Between dealing with grisly murders and a strangely alluring Ana, Charming is slowly going crazy. Will he find the killer, and are they human or hybrid? Will Ana find her place in this new world, and possibly lead a happy life full of love? Or will danger destroy the happiness in her new world.

What a fun story!
It captivated me from the very start. It has a rather unique, yet relatable story line. The main characters are very likable.

Ana is in trouble so a mystical being, named Rosie, drops her off in another world, so she can be safe with Charming. And he his, charming, that is. He’s also not quite human. (Ana is human). Charming and his people were created by his world’s humans as part of a scientific study. Only created, they realized how much stronger and capable the new creatures were to themselves. Thus they attempted to kill them all… which began an all out war.

Eventually, both sides wanted the wars to stop, and now they live in the same city in peace.

Only, once again, there is a great deal of resentment and fear growing between humans and the hybrids and someone is killing young human men. The humans think it is the hybrids’ doing and Charming thinks it is the humans, but whoever the killer is, he is very clever about not leaving clues.

This book was well written, creative, and a joy to read.

The future can only tell..

This was a good ending to the series, but is it! The story of Charming is fantastic. Being the last of the brothers it was nice to see him not have to go through pain and misery. Charming is now the leader of the Exiles, the integration into town with the humans has gone well. It's been 6 years and thing are now changing.

Ana was brought by Rose to stay with Charming to protect. Now this relationship was foreseen from the beginning but it was nice the way Victoria Danann played it out. Ana is a spark of new life into Charming's life along with Scar's. She becomes a great addition to the family with her views from where she came from. She won Charming's heart with cookies.

Crave and Dandy had a house full of orphans and their own children. But the one thing that didn't expect was that one of the children would remember who they really were. I won't spoil the ending for you but I will say the ending was heartbreaking.

I volunteered to review this book.

I enjoyed this whole book; I only skipped a little bit compared to the previous one. I love fish out of water tropes and what Rosie, I still waffle on if I like her or not, did with Ana. I enjoyed seeing her charm the Exiles and what she was willing to do and learn to make her own place there.
That instance with Snow—priceless.
I kinda saw the ending coming, though I was grateful it wasn’t who I thought it would be at the end. It all went by pretty fast. I wouldn’t mind more stories set in that world, but I’m not sure it would be something that could be fleshed out enough with how quickly she has written stories for the world so far.

Just about perfect! Great to step back to the Exiled and see where they have gotten in the past 6 years. Charming was always a favorite and I enjoyed getting to know him as an adult now. God Bless Rosie! She can stir up the pot sometimes but I think in her heart, she knew this is what both Charming and Ana needed. A runaway with trust issues and an alpha male with a need to protect and lots of love to go around.

I hope we get to go back again at a future date. Would love to see how the family has grown.

Meh. This whole book felt rushed. The introduction of Ana to the story, the murder plot and resolution, and ESPECIALLY the romance between Ana and Charming. Charming went from "good old pal Ana" to "she is my mate" in about 2 seconds. They didn't have enough time to develop a realistic relationship. I like this author and I love these characters and the world she created for them but this story just didn't do it for me.

Awesome Read!

Miss Victoria is an exceptional writer!!! It totally amazes me that as many books as there are in this series (which I'm including Knights of Black Swan) how in the world can she write so many and never a dull moment. Invites you into different worlds where you feel as if you are part of them. An awesome escape! I will not leave any book she has written unread by me!

Loved how Ana became Charming' s ward, waw she's a feisty one lol. The chemistry was great between them.
I wasn't expecting the murderer to be who it was to be honest I had suspicions about someone else boy was I wrong I do think the full outcome from the situation was the right one for all.
I'm just sad now that I've finished all three books.

I don't consider this a full book more of a novella but it is satisfying. It concludes the Exiled trilogy and leaves you feeling that all the characters get the HEA they deserve.

This last book of the sreries started out better than the previous one, mostly because Rosie was part of it and it was in set in NYC, not in the post apocalyptic dimension where the Exiled lived. I thoroughly enjoyed Rosie’s helping Ana get off the streets and away from some unscrupulous loan shark’s intent to torture and kill her for a crime committed against them by her boyfriend. She bought her good sturdy clothes, put her in a luxurious hotel suite to get cleaned up and eat a large meal, and then deposited her at a place off world where she’d be safe until Rosie determined where to hide her and keep her safe where her needs were met.

This book is heads and tails better than the previous one. I don’t think there was one chapter I didn’t enjoy. I enjoyed the banter between Ana and Charming and laughed a few times. It was fun to picture Ana’s rescue and new life. It was also a great story to illustrate how hatred and prejudice can seed, grow, fester, and then become violent. How do you keep kids from being bullies? The humans were taunting the hybrids because they knew the hybrids were forbidden by law to defend themselves physically. What a boiling cauldron ready to burst over! Throw in a serial murder mystery, and you’ve got an action packed story on top of the human hybrid love story. BTW, I pictured Hayden Panetierre as Ana, which helped me hear her voice when there was dialog. The hilarity in this books were the cookies. Of course after reading about Ana’s cookie adventures, I have to stop to bake some cookies to eat cookies while reading. Specifically oatmeal raison. The sexual tension was well done but not uncomfortable or full of angst like other books. I wouldn't mind seeing another book about Dread and how he finds his own love after having been spurred twice; once with Dandy and then with Ana. I also would have like for Rosie to come back to check on Ana only to be delighted with how things turned out for both her and Charming but I was still pleased with the end.
