My friend bought me this book last Christmas so I am ever grateful. It was a passage of scripture, each day. I appreciated the various passages and some I was more familiar with than others. It provided some peace form time to time when it was needed. I have always struggled with others telling me how I am to interpret scripture. There were a few nuggets and the book was a tribute to her mom's last days and finding solace in the bible. I just didn't get much out of her interpretations.

It was good, but it wasn't amazing. There were definitely points that really stood out to me, but many were pretty basic (but still good reminders, nonetheless). However, if you too are in a busy and exhausting season in life, this is a good devo for that. The daily reads are very short, each with a Scripture and short prayer.

So Many daily inspirations that helped start my day minutes before work putting me on the right path for the day. Sometimes, I would even read another one at lunch to focus on for the afternoon.

I enjoyed starting my day filled with hope, encouragement and a little devotion.

A lovely day by day scripture and prayer book. I read a passage each morning with my coffee to start my day on the right foot. 😊
