This is a stirring and heartfelt set of thoughts and declarations for Christians. Each set of affirmations starts with a scripture verse or two, then an encouraging thought and a declaration that follows on.
An encouraging and heartwarming read. I would thoroughly recommend this book especially if you are going through a dry patch in your life.
I was given this book by Netgalley and the publisher. This is my voluntary review.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy of Selah: Pause and Think On This through the Publisher and Netgalley:

Kimberly Davis talks about the struggles she has faced over the past few years,we are reminded too that it is okay to ask God fot what we want when we are right with him.

The author goes on to point out miserable people make others miserable as well.  She also points ouy that people with no joy are never satisfied.

We are reminded too that we need to put our trust in God and rejoice.

I believe this book would be great for anybody no matter where they are in their walk with Christ:

Five out of five stars.

Not your flowery poetic devotional! This devotional is for those who hunger for meat not milk but it is written in an honest simple way to make any reader feel encouraged to pray serious prayers and make powerful declarations. Love it!

Selah

This book is very illuminating. It brought a lot of spiritual things l to light as well as made me think on a deeper level spiritually. I recommend this book for all who would like to challenge their own thoughts in a deeper and lengthier process!!

What a great book. The first devotional was about Job and how when you hit trouble in your life you will receive from GOD double for that trouble - and in my life I have found that that is true. GOD is such a wonderful loving GOD that HE loves us so much that HE wants us to Blessed and in return we give HIM Praise!!!! Then the rest of the devotional goes on from there and it gets even better if you could believe it. The only complaint I could have it that it is soooo short for each devotional. I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

If you would like to see more of my Christian reviews go to chriastianlybookreviewers.hotspot.com. I look forward to seeing you there.
