Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

He was so disgusting! I seriously could not understand how accepting the female lead was about his sexual exploits because he actually made me shudder with disgust.

Firstly I have to say I love the cover, I actually liked the cover more than I liked the book.

I've read a lot of Sam Crescent books so I knew basically what to expect. First we get the hot alpha male with a revolving door on his bedroom then the innocent plus size virgin he falls in love with, so far so good but...

Problem here was Drew was a manwhore and the book actually opens with him having sex with another woman, a nasty vicious woman at that.
Raven knows his reputation, seven years ago before she left town she used to watch him have sex with other women which I must admit I found a bit creepy.

The other women were impossible to escape and the book itself felt repetitive.

To give Drew credit once he sees Raven again after a seven year gap he falls instantly in love and knows she's the one, he doesn't cheat or even look at another woman and the epilogue is nice but...

It just didn't fully work for me and there's one truly yucky moment.

Before I read this I quickly looked at the reviews on Amazon UK where it had five reviews and all five were 5* so obviously a lot of people love this book.

I'll start by saying that this was miles better than the last book I read by this author, which quite frankly was shit. While the writing was better, around the 45% mark I got bored.

It became mushier than a tin of mushy peas.

The insta-love, manwhore + virgin theme was boring (I've had enough of that in books) and the 'she's big she's round, she bounces up and down' isn't really my thing.

So my DNF, this time, is more to do with my tastes changing, rather than this being awful.

So basically a messed up fck fest!
Drew is a man whore. A literal one. Book starts with him sexing OW and remembering the heroine.
Raven returns back after 7 years of wanderlust and Drew is on her like fly on honey. He knows she's seen him screwing other women as a teen, and that turns him on. Suddenly mr "I can't keep my dick in my pants" is all caveman, growling mine and tearing all hymens.
The book didn't make much sense.. but it had a lot of dry humping and a little sex.
I hate when heroines have to deal with OW.. pisses me off.
If you like averagely smutty books with curvy heroines, this would be a good read but if you like safety, stay FAR away.
The stars it gets is for the epilogue. I needed the batter.

Wow, what a claiming! I loved Drew's change when he saw the women that got away some seven years ago--- his Raven!

Drew Reynolds immediately told her how he felt about her and he could care less what people thought including the many, many, many he bedded in those seven years. Raven seemed shocked that Drew even noticed her but wow he had. He had to redeem himself in so many town folk's eyes including Raven's dad, Clark. Oh but Clark was also a manwhore in his day so Miranda, Raven's mom let her know about her father's past.

This was a terrific story that got better and better till the very end!

5 Drew worthy stars!!!!!

Raven and Drew. Like a moth to a flame, I could not resist getting this truly awful book despite the bad reviews. And it did suck. So very repetitive, so kinda creepy, so disappointing!
Raven has always been attracted to Drew but she was too young and not his usual type. Drew was happy to stick his wanker into any willing hole, no matter how disgusting. In fact she would often come upon him while he was doing this which didn't seem to bother Drew a bit. Now Raven is back in town and Drew has decided that she is HIS. Honestly the multiple instances of her seeing him scr*w other women wasn't what killed the story for me so much as the adolescent writing and the extreme repetition of the same inner monologues and insecurities. I skimmed the whole book.
The weird thing is that I've read better books by this author and this book felt like it had been written by someone else. Maybe she was half asleep when she wrote it???

Drew Reynolds just used women, he never sought them out but they found him. Didn't matter if they were married, engaged, or single he took what he needed and sent them on their way. There was only one woman who ever caught his eye, Raven Howard. Raven though took off right when she turned eighteen and has been gone for seven years.

Raven now has returned home and Drew has made his interest known. Raven isn't sure she can trust Drew though, how can the town man whore become a one woman man so quickly. Drew knows his past defines him but Raven is his and he will take the time she needs to build her trust and make her his own.

I liked this but had a hard time warming to Drew when he was so cavalier about who he slept with. Raven I thought was sweet and cautious about Drew, which she needed to be. Drew changed in a heartbeat I thought he was very charming with Raven. Good story.

I really enjoyed this book. She’s mine is a short steamy romance. Sam Crescent is one of those authors that make me want an alpha man. That crazy kind of ‘’She’s mine’’ type of love. I love the characters, I love the storyline, I love this book. I loved the way Drew changed his habits/hobbies for the woman he loved.

Drew Reynolds is a man with a reputation. There isn’t many women that he hasn’t slept with. The women around town that he sleeps with only want him for a certain body part of his. They see as a dumb and poor man that they don’t want to be seen with.

Raven Howard has just moved back to town after having been away travelling for seven years. Raven has always fancied Drew but she wasn’t old enough for him. Raven is a shy woman, she has trouble speaking to people. Drew makes Raven feel comfortable and in return, Raven doesn’t look down on him. She makes him happy and at peace.

I loved the epilogue for this book and I loved the love between them.

Ok, here is what I thought about the book:
The first few pages, H is the manwhore
The next few chapters, H still a manwhore and also a super jerk.
He disgust me so much, he have no respect for woman.

A lot of skipping while reading this book.
1,5* in my opinion.

It was, he was totally devoted to her after she came back. BEFORE that she had seen him getting bjs and having sex with OW a lot. Also, it opens with a really descriptive sexy scene with OW. So if that's an issue for you, you've been told. Anyway, I love how he was protective of her and talked with her dad. Epilogue was nice too.

2 stars..

1 star was for the idea; and another star was for the steaminess in it and the lovely epilogue.

Wanted to love it, but the 'hero' was anything but that. And the 'heroine' was not that.

Just... NO!

It was okay.

If you ignore all the things that I found annoying and not romance worthy it was a pleasant lite read with the guaranteed HEA.

Now, for all the things that annoyed me. Sam Crescent’s serious over use of man-wh0re’s as male lead love interests is just crap. I don’t care how many condoms a man uses to make sure he’s safe with all his partners, he could have triple bagged it each and every time, I still wouldn’t want his nasty butt touching me. Let alone, have an entire town know about it and rub it in my face every chance they got for his choices.

The male lead kept offering the female lead to see him with other women. All the proof he had of his past encounters that is. I get that the author was trying to play the open and honest card with his offers, but the fact that he kept getting caught by her when they were teenagers turns his offer from full disclosure to just plain offensive. I mean, god forbid that he say “no” to all the random women that apparently threw themselves at him when considering he said plenty of other not nice things to or about those women to their face or behind their backs. Where is the logic in this reasoning!?!

Also, the female lead left town and traveled the world. Lived and worked all over the world for a lot of years and yet she stayed shy and a virgin all that time and through all that experience?!? Really? She goes back home to marry a small town hick who hasn’t evolved enough to learn how to delete unwanted porn on his phone. REALLY?? And the kicker was, that she got mad at him for him not sleeping with women who actually cared about him or liked him. OMFG REALLY?!?!?!

At this point I was laughing. Couldn’t be mad annoyed at the stupidity of this story. So it was ridiculous and somehow sweet because it can’t be taken seriously. That’s why I gave it 3 stars and said it was okay for the entertainment value and not because it was good. Enjoy, lol.

he doesn’t deserve her

This is the first book I’ve been disappointed in by Sam. I absolutely adore her books but this made me mad.

He said he was going to ask her out yet slept with someone that day and when she caught him he didn’t stop and said he’d ask tomorrow but she left.

She actually went to say goodbye and he was again, with another woman. Tell me how you can want to ask someone out right after being with another then going after another again the next day?!

It made me so mad that he claimed all this stuff about wanting her yet he never stopped sleeping around and then when she was gone he claimed to still want her yet never stopped his playboy ways.

It just showed how little he respected her and how she was, not weak but not strong in that she looked over the fact he was going to ask her out but AFTER he slept with someone else first then again the next day. She was perfectly happy being chosen AFTER he got his satisfaction from other women.

Drew was never short on female company, they all came to him, but there was one woman he wanted, and uet she left 7 years ago. Raven was back in town from her time travelling and when Drew spots her he stakes his claim, but can she get past his past? Even if she was a voyeur of his activities in the past? Well written steamy age gap desires and more.

Sometime you have wait for your to really to start in the forward position when travel through the darkness into the light of love. Drew waited and hope and love came back to him. He didn't squander his second chance.

Another hit for Sam. Took me a while to download but worth reading Drew and Raven story. Drew was unhappy ☹️ until Raven came back to town. Then it kicked him quickly to claim Raven as his own. Must read
