A Gentle Heart
Jared Grant, star quarterback for the Philadelphia Stallions, was unsure when his life started to spiral out of control. On suspension from the hometown championship team and position he'd coveted as a child, time was running out to reverse the path he'd chosen. While partying with friends at a popular night spot, Jared was shocked to discover the mousy PA was actually a talented performer hiding her beauty beneath all the dowdiness. Swearing to keep her secret from their employers, they soon became close friends. Robin eagerly professed her love and within hours watched him return to the arms of the woman intent on destroying him and the Stallions.

Good read but
I didn’t like how they dealt with the Annette situation. There was no need to break her heart. They had 2 days, Jay or any of the others could have explained the situation and she would just have had to play along like they all did. Talk is cheap with their sorry. On top of that, yes he said I love you on national TV but he could have just gone to talk to her as well and apologized/explain face to face. Why is she the one having to take the first step? Forgiveness is all well and good but people need to ask for forgiveness. It also was a trust issue. None of them trusted her to toe the line. They were thinking about their own interests first and foremost. The scholarship was a shut up gift. I understand that her grandmother doesn’t want them to have debts but I rather owe the bank than people who can hurt my feelings to protect their interests. They got back together far too quickly for my liking.

A gentle heart heart series book 9
Wow, what a great story!!! Jay and Robin. I love that. It’s family friendship, love hell of a lot of drama mystery and mayhem. Miss Vivian makes you feel like you’re right there with the characters they are so real and you enjoy every moment with them. I still believe that they should have put hands on Valerie Grant and not let her get away with anything. for a parent to be that devious toward her own children something is really wrong with her. Keep writing these wonderful stories and I will keep buying your books.

Loved it
Truly enjoyed this love story. Loved Robin and Jared as a couple. Annette & Valerie felt the wrath of the Singletons and the Howards. Great story. Thank you Ms. Lee for sharing.

Don't judge a book by its cover
Its crazy how when thesealphas find their mates their families all become one. I love it. Jared and Robin's story was filled with strength, love,laughter, skanks and amazing families. Another great one.

Jared and Robin
Ms. Lee's stories are getting better and better. I'm glad that Jared got a way from Annette and his mother. The love of Jared and Robin was so sweer.

You cant put down no matter what!! I love how this family sticks together through everything!!! Robin can handle herself just fine.. u better not mess around with David Or Duke!! Love this series. Bring on Lauren and Semiyon story

Really?
Why did you choose this rating? IMO, the book was juvenile and the characters lack depth. I'm not looking for Oprah's book of the month type literature however I don't want my intelligence insulted. I've read this author before and although she had numerous grammatical errors (in prior books), I don't recall the dialogue being juvenile (maybe it was).
What did you like or dislike? I initially liked the premise of the story however the delivery and dialogue missed the mark. In addition, I didn't see a progression of the main characters. Maybe too much time spent on secondary characters and catching up on various characters from other books.

Book lover
I really enjoyed the up and down in this story. The mother a real witch to see how far a person greed would go.they say money in the root of all evil this is so true in this story. But faith and a good friend and family will always have your back where your rich or just average. Great stories from beginning to end . Thank for a great story

Great read!
Another great story that I did not want to end. Jared and Robin's story was romantic, steamy, sweet combined with the other love-able Heart series family members. I'm ready for the next story....

Wow!!!
I've been waiting for Jared story and I'm so happy that it came out. That Annette got what she deserved didn't like her and his mom too!! I love Robin and nanna!! Vivian you did it again!! Can't wait for the next story!!

Delightful.... Feel good book
Jared and Robin are great together especially after all the Annette mess. I thought think David and Duke are the modern day Godfathers. I'm love it when the family is playful and happy. I cry so much when I read your books, especially, the carry overs. I love David, Duke, Cat, and Rocky to name a few. Question: where is Donnie and Miss Sally? They went on a cruise and haven't heard anything about them since. You have so many more stories to write in this family and friends. Cedi, Vaughn, Semi, Uriel....etc. Cannot wait. Keep writing and I will keep reading.
