If he’s going to tease you, then he damn well better please you…
CHARLOTTE
I absolutely loathe Cade Blackwell.
He’s a rich, arrogant quarterback with an ego so big I could camp on it, and of course, all the girls want him.
Except me.
Sure, he’s ridiculously attractive, but I went to school with him, so I know exactly what he’s like, and it’s not good. He made my life a living hell back in the day, and the mere sight of him makes me want to puke despite his gorgeous face and panty-melting abs.
Getting involved with him for just one steamy, drunken encounter a few nights ago was a huge mistake… and it’s never going to happen again.
It’s too bad that our parents are engaged, because not only do I now have to see Cade every day and play happy families with him, I have to live with the prick. Thank god the house is huge, so I can easily avoid him and his devilish charms….right?
Wrong…
CADE
I’m the star player on my college football team, and as you can imagine, chicks basically throw themselves at me on a daily basis. All except one—Charlotte Rubio. She can’t stand me, and every time she sees me, she looks like she wants to kill me.
It only makes me want her more.
We actually nearly hooked up one drunken night a while ago, but that was cut short when she realized who I was—her old school nemesis, apparently, although for the life of me I can’t figure out why. She’s made it pretty damn clear that it’s never going to happen again, and now that our parents are getting married, she’s become even more off-limits for me.
But one way or another, I’ll make her see that I’m the right one for her, and when that happens, I’m gonna tease her until she’s begging for it…
**Tease is a full-length romance with NO cheating, NO cliffhanger & a guaranteed happy ending! Bonus book included.**
Caitlin Daire writes about sexy men and the smart, curvy women who love them. She has found her own happily-ever-after ending with her husband and two kids.
4 Stars: Kindle Unlimited Read Among some of my favorites. Outstanding literary work. The characters are well developed, interesting. The liked characters are likable and the hated are unlikable. The writing is captivating enough to keep you interested until the end and leave you wanting more. It has a fairly original or uniquely well-developed plot. The pretense and romance were well balanced and done with properly distributed amounts of hints, behaviors, and chemistry. Not so much predictable if at all. Overall, loved it, I recommend reading!!
ARC FOR AN HONEST REVIEW This book is one HOT READ I absolutely loved Charlotte and cades story I was on edge through the book waiting to see what happens between them This is a must read another great read from a great author
This was an okay story but very predictable and some of the dialogue was super cheesy. I ended up skimming a lot because it just didn't hold my interest.
Ok here we go. I love a good sports romance mixed with a little taboo-ness but this wasn't really much about sports. Plus what gets me is how everyone would "shame" because they were step siblings when they didn't grow up together! A little ironic that they kept saying the thing with his dad was like a B-rated movie, when that's exactly what it was. Though honestly I did rate it a C, & that's being generous. Wouldn't really say it's worth it but maybe if you get it for free? Didn't read the extra book because I hate when books do that. I honestly wouldn't have bothered if I had known. So read at your will just wasn't the best nor worth it. On to the next!
I thought this book was okay but very short . It started really good but faded out half way through . Also I would have liked more football and college life in it , instead of political stuff . Apart from that , it was an OK storyline with great lead characters.
I chose to read and review this book. I enjoyed this one a lot. It was hard to put down. Everything was very captivating. The characters and flow were well written. They were simply amazing. Hard to pick a favourite one since each one was steamy sexy badass. I liked the sparks that fly between each one as well as the sass. I recommend it.
Tease is a college sports romance with a step siblings trope but you hardly get any football. The book started out really good then faded to just me skimming the words because of it becoming so boring with politics. It's a really short story that disappointed me all across the board. My rating is 2.5 stars and I'm unsure if I will read the bonus book Mine...
Two stories of step siblings who immediately have sparks but try to keep their love under wraps. Sweet and sexy, they both get their happy ending after some bumps in the road.
I seriously love Caitlin's books, even if they are step-brother romances. I mean, for me, that just makes them even more interesting to me! I love how all of her stories flow. I can't even pick a favourite character, all the female and male leads are awesome and I wish they were my friends in real life! xx
This was a first time I read anything from this author. The story was well developed. The characters had growth and you could build a connection to them. Would read again as well as other books by this author. Bonus story included but not part of this review. Overview. Charlotte was upset. She had a hard childhood. Kids picked on her. Now her mom picks them up and moves them to Colorado and she had to give up her friends, as well as her college scholarship. Her mom was going to marry a guy named Keith. She was mad and went to the bar of the hotel. She hit it off with a guy who was a footballer. They tried to hook up, but Charlotte got sick. Cade decided to stay and watch over her. But Cade woke up to a text from his younger brother about lunch and meeting his soon to be stepmom and sis. But when the picture showed up, it was his bed mate. No way could that happen. When Charlotte woke up to him looking at a pic of her and her mom she freaked. She thought she was with a Cole not Cade her old school bully. Now she has to over come her past and except her hot new stepbrother and politics. Will the two ever get along? Will they find love or will the political cause issues?
I loved this book. It had drama and lots of love lol. Charlotte and Cade are great characters who are believable and likable. Charlotte was teased and tormented in school and she blamed Cade for her being a social outcast. When they meet up again she doesn't realize who he is until the morning after. We all know she finally forgives him but what are the circumstances? Her mother is set to marry Cade's dad and she isn't too happy about that. And Cade's dad Keith is a Senator with higher political aspirations. You should read the book it gets dicy in some spots and turns into a tv show with high ratings lol.
Second time reading it I still found it really good... and it would make a good mini-series...I'm glad I decided to read it again and I'll probably reread the rest of her stepbrother books eventually.
This is my third book by this author. She is one of my favourite authors and I love step brother romances.
Charlotte was upset. She had a hard childhood. Kids picked on her. Now her mum picks them up and moves them to Colorado and she had to give up her friends, as well as her college scholarship. Her mom was going to marry a guy named Keith. She was mad and went to a bar.
She hit it off with a guy who was a footballer. They tried to hook up, but Charlotte got sick. Cade decided to stay and watch over her.
But Cade woke up to a text from his younger brother about lunch and meeting his soon to be stepmum and sis. But when the picture showed up, it was his bed mate. No way could that happen. When Charlotte woke up to him looking at a picture of her and her mum she freaked.
Charlotte and Cade meet and it seems like a simple hookup. It goes wrong when they discover all their connections including a marriage that will make them step-siblings and some not so nice past encounters. These two try to deny their feelings but the more they are together, the more difficult it is to resist. There are lots of issues to work through and some real challenges to face.
I enjoyed the characters and the storyline. Cade has more to him than the surface he presents. Once he opens up, he really becomes more sympathetic. The chemistry between the characters feels real.
First off let me say this, I really like Caitlin Daire and I have enjoyed reading books from her but I had a difficult time reading TEASE. The premise of the story was not unusual from her and I was excited to read. I am giving her 3 stars because the story was there but I had a few issues. I was going to rate it a 2 but she did redeem herself with the twist story line.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this story and was pulled in from the beginning. I really like Charlotte and found her to be pretty relatable. I wasn't sure what to make of Cade at first, but he grew on me really quickly, and I really liked him by the end of the book. The chemistry between Charlotte and Cade was perfect, and it was so fun following their story. I loved their HEA, it was perfect!!
OMG!! no words can describe how much I enjoyed this book! I loved all of the quirkiness that came with every sentence. Loved all of the romance, suspense, and even the "scandal".
I have to admit through, there could've been a little more density to the story and detail. Although the book was AMAZING...It wasn't as dramatic or complex as it could've been, it pretty straight forward....you should read it though. Happy Reading!
It appears my love of stepbrother stories has not yet left me. Another good story from Caitlin Daire. While her stories can be a bit formulaic, I enjoyed the political intrigue and twist found in Tease. I especially loved the relationship between Charlotte and Cade's younger brother, Evan. Overall, a light and satisfying read.
I liked the first story and plot, but when I saw there was another story I couldn't put it down. The second one was just as good as the first one. Both had suspense and the hot sex, it was just a good story all in all.
Got this as an arc for an honest review. And loved it! Cade is so hot & sexy...tho at times too cocky for his own good. Loved Charlotte (Charlie)...I saw a lot of myself in her...loved it!!!
Arc review For honest review .This is a step sibling romance , but with a twist. It's also very good story. I also like how the characters interact with each other .
