Athena Lee is the new Martian Ambassador but she is at odds with the old one. So much so that she is in a jail cell on charges of insubordination and treason, again. This comes of the Eve of change for the known Galaxy. A Massive Earth ship is on its way and Civil War is already breaking out in the Empire. The enemies of freedom, the Cabal, have come out of the shadows.

Fantastic!!
Loved this book, the best Athena book yet. I love a space odyssey and this fits the bill. The characters are really gaining in personality and scope. I want a kick ass grandmother too! I want a little more of Athena's ingenuity in the books, instead of her being rescued all the time. I want to learn more about Wilsons clones and let's destroy earth, and free humanity. Sounds like a plans!! Such fun!!!

Excellent example of poor writing skills
Clichés in every sentence. Editing looks like a first draft . Characters' emotional development is preadolescent. Please attend some writing workshops.

Good
I enjoyed this book a lot, great story with a lot of intrigue, surprises, backstabbing, and the threat of interstellar war. What is there not to like?

A bit shorter than I liked, but still a great addition to the whole storyline. Remember if your looking for a sci fi magus ops, your looking in the wrong place. The entire Athena Lee series and related works are a great sci fi pulp story line. Were TS Paul has done a great job of having the female character be the hero and not the damsel in distress.

Now. The family grows.
The story continues growing Betty and better with each book. Wilson is a fountain of surprise s go Wilson. It would be fun having him around. From surviving to reveluation Athena and Dar continue to find and surprise those who underrate them.

Ambassador Lee
Well Lee is now the Ambassador to Mars from Hong Kong!! It took a while and she had to be rescued but she is now the Ambassador!! Love her character and all the others associated with her. Wilson you are too funny and you have a cat, I love you more now!!
