Wonderful novel series full of twists and turns

I loved how Klavan works faith and hope and love into these novels. It doesn't sound preachy, at least not to me, it just sounds like truth being communicated, in a way that makes it tangible and real. I like knowing that good and right and integrity will win out, without knowing how the plot is going to play out. I wasn't sure which characters were going to die, so the suspense was there, but I knew I wasn't going to be disappointed in the ending, that justice would be done and the good guys victorious.
It was a little too young-adulty for my normal tastes, but I give it a pass since that's who he was writing for and he didn't ask me (53 year old Dad) to read it! I heartily recommend this to teens and very young adults!

The plot was unique, fun, and intense. Despite being written in 3rd person, the characters were relatable and loveable. The main character’s growth was amazing. Plus the moral and even spiritual struggles forced me to evaluate my own beliefs.

Good.

In thought the book flowed very nice together and it was a good plot overall. I would read it again for sure.

Terrible writing, clunky and childish. Plus the writer is a misogynist, anti-feminist and it comes across quite strongly in how he writes about women.
Red flags guys, avoid this novelists books.
