I LOVE BLUE!!!!! I love the names that she calls people. I love Rose's imagination and writing style. I could not put this book down. It kept my interest the entire time. I can't wait for book 3

This book is from Kasey's perspective. Kasey and his friends are fringe heroes. They use their abilities to protect society, until their last battle leaves Kasey almost dead. So they leave in search of peace. Ever since Kasey escaped death, his powers have been running wild. It doesn’t take long for his girlfriend and the others to notice. Will Kasey get a hold on his powers? Or will they take him over?
If you like book 1 The Blue Effect, then you'll love this book. I don't want to give any spoilers.

Our group of intrepid warriors move from Seattle, to the farming area in Idaho, where they encounter another with powers. Kasey continues to have nightmares about his family's murders, and has become dark and withdrawn since the death of Basil Dubeau. This change to Kasey's personality has them all on tenterhooks.
Will their new member be able to help Kasey's anger issues before it destroys all of them??

In the second installment of the Renegade Heroes series, we learn more about Kasey and how he came to be the man he is before his death. His past it brought up and he realizes that the past doesn’t always stay there. The team moves to Idaho, where they meet another person like them, named Rayne. She can see spirits, and turns out to have a special connection to Esme. But when Rayne explains what’s going on with Kasey, the team is filled with the truth of what Blue did; in bringing back the man she loved, they opened a rift that allowed the dead to come and go, and the only way to close it is for Kasey to die. This book had the amazing comedy that only Blue could give, but Rose also managed to give us a new perspective of how the world around them works, showing that it might not be as random as it all seemed. Blue’s tale isn’t as odd as she once thought, and the truth of what her mother did and who her twin sister is only opens the door to what other secrets are going around. What more will the learn in book 3, and will Avery find is own mate? If things dealing with these amazing people isn’t so random, then maybe the connection formed between select people, these amazing romantic bonds, might not be as random either, but just another piece of the design created by the one man that seems to link everyone together: Dr. Jakobi. Be sure to check this book out and get yourself caught up before book 3 comes out, giving us a look into the mind of Avery!
