Second Chances is the follow up novel to Pieces of Us. Like Miller's first novel, I found this one to be a fast-paced, light-hearted, feel-good comedy about the power of friendship. Four very different women who all happene to be the best of friends on a road trip/book tour promotion. Throw in a little budding romance, a dash of fortune telling, and a scared iguana, and you have a seriously amusing read. Looking forward to the next novel in the series!

Second Chances: Pieces of Us Book 2 by Lisa K. Miller is a hilarious collection of interactions between an adorable cast of forever-friends. The plot is sparse, but the humor is unmatched. I could read about these escapades forever. Really well done.

I just couldn't do it. The women's behavior was beyond ridiculous and made me cringe a little every time they started to speak.

I really enjoyed the first book but let me tell you this book was even better. I am not sure how Lisa Miller did it but her writing is wonderful! This book gets 5 huge stars from me and she has a fan for life now! This book will have you laughing so hard that your family members (or whoever else was around) will look at you like you have lost your mind. I laughed so hard I cried! The friendship of these ladies is amazing and something everyone should strive for!! I absolutely loved it!
In this book Kat, Jenny, and Rose are on another adventure. Of course they swing by and rescue their favorite CB! Along this book tour journey they run into chaos and disorder. They each learn a lot and are so grateful they have each other!! Along with the chaos you will enjoy old stories, new adventures, love, dislike and animals!!! The hamster was my favorite!! You need to read the book to see why! I am warning you to pee before you read this book!! You will laugh enough that there is danger if you do not!
I am in love with the writing style of this writer! I will impatiently wait for the next book! I will hope that everyone buys this story and enjoys it. You will not regret it! Thank you Lisa Miller for your wonderful stories!!!

The road trip continues with Rose, Jenny, and Kat in more mischief and mayhem than any three friends could possibly handle, but they do, and they do it all with finesse and grace. Oh, who am I kidding? This trip is full of chaos, craziness, hot flashes, and near death experiences at every turn and you will enjoy every minute of it, including the very sexy Oliver Easton, sigh…oh, and did I mention the hamster? OMG, if you don’t pee your pants you are not human!
I thoroughly enjoyed this second book in the series and am waiting, no wanting more. 5 stars Lisa Miller!

A road trip book that will have you grinning from ear to ear.
If you haven’t yet read either of Lisa’s books yet then you have yet to discover the wit, the camaraderie the sheer delight that you will discover between the pages of her books. Her caustic use of humour between these four ladies; dare I use that term? Will have you chortling with delight, yet there’s also a great togetherness that emanates from her characters that will draw you into her books. A very special read
