This series just gets better and better! And it always leaves you wanting more. In this book we meet the very fierce, very independent Rose. Orphaned as a young child, she's not had an easy life. Even after being rescued by her Uncle Seth from an abusive foster family, she still deals with alot of issues. She doesn't trust, she doesn't love or commit. However, she is a Valkaryie warrior through and through. She hunts the Ashran, the evil. Liberating the common folk souls from evil. She meets Jacob who is as mysterious as she is. Discovers he's an empath, and that he's meant to protect her. Can she trust him? Especially when there is a battle brewing that could cost them all their lives. Great read! Quick and easy. Can't wait for the next installment!
