The Devil was a short story By Kim Jones within the Devil’s Renegades series as a prequel to A Devil’s love.
Marty was a newly patched member, having prospected for a little more than a year. Maddie grew up in the MC. She was the little sister, the princess, and no one was allowed to touch her. No one.
As expected it was short and sweet. Well not sweet, but definitely short. I actually read this out of order but when I realized I missed this novella, I back tracked to fill in some gaps. However, in hind site, it wasn’t necessary. It was one scene and set the stage for the full novel, Devil’s love.

How can such a short book have more raw sexual energy as The Devil did?! Any author who can bring it the way Ms. Jones did with this as my first read of hers now has a lifetime fan. This only whetted my appetite for more of Marty and Maddie and I can’t wait for Devil’s Love to come out so that I can keep following this hot as hell couple. Marty’s one job was to watch over Maddie and keeping his hands off from her. Well that’s easier said than done when you can just feel the sexual tension between these two. This is not going to bode well for the newly patched in member of the Devil’s Renegade MC especially when the person asking you to look after a girl that is like a little sister to him is none other than the President of the MC himself.

If you are looking for a great and quick read, this is the book for you. This is the beginning of Marty and Maddie's story. I can't wait to read more of their story in Kim Jones upcoming book, Devil's Love!

how is it possible for a novel this short to be so crazy hot.

I love a forbidden romance. Maddie and Marty. Maddie the mc Prez sister and a newly patched brother. Charged with keeping an eye on her, Marty does much more to Maddie's pleasure. They both know this is going to hurt.

Pay attention if you read this book because it is over before you know it. A little preview of what is in store for Maddie and Marty.
I do hope Maddie is a likeable character. I'm not sure I cared for her that much in this book. She seems like a shit stirrer.

I saw this short story by Kim Jones and jumped in. I had a moment and didn’t realize it was part of a series I have not read yet. Well after reading this I will rectify that. This was a quick read and I enjoyed every second of it.
Marty is asked to keep an eye on Maddie but knows it is hands off. Even though he has been attracted to her for a while can he keep his hands off her even when she is testing him every chance she gets. She knows the hands off rule too but she enjoys the response she gets from him. Can he resist her and stay loyal to his club and brothers or is their temptation too much.
I absolutely loved Maddie he spunk and sass is wonderful. Although to know why she is just starting to let this side of herself out again I’m going to have to go back and read the start of the series to get her back story. I enjoyed seeing Marty hold back his feelings but the bar scene was great man he is going to have his hands full keeping an eye on Maddie. She is going to keep him on his toes and want to make him punish her in more than one way *wink* *wink*.

Short and oh so sweet!!
Kim Jones just gets better and better! This could be described as a light easy read, but that would shortchange this awesome woman of the praise due to her! It's not easy to fit substance in terms of character and plot into a story this short - but there's more than enough here to make us clap excitedly now the book this leads into has been released! Sweeeet!!

Hot Quickee
Love this book! It's a prequel to Maddie and Marty's story and just enough to get us hype and horny for the rest! Also there is a snippet of Sinner's Revenge at the end they has me bouncing out my seat in anticipation!

This didn't feel like a first or standalone. I think if I'd read it before it'd be a much higher mark, but I didn't know the characters at all.

A great short read! I didn't want it to end and wanted them to have a long story. For a short story the characters are really enjoyable. The story is short and sassy!
