Harvey Broome: Earth Man – Some Miscellaneous Writings by Harvey Broome (Greenbrier Press 1970) (333.72). These are excerpts from Harvey Broome's writings on the early days of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It includes a chronicle of early hikes and hikers in the Smokies shortly before and after the national park was formed as well as the author's manifesto on wilderness preservation and enjoyment. I purchased this from McKay's for $6.00, and it bears an inscription from the author's wife. My rating: 7/10, finished 6/30/16. HHHHHHHHHHHH
