Finding Her Wings

“All I want is to be a normal teenage girl!”

For sixteen year old Sera Neilson, normal is just not possible. After being abandoned by her mother and an infant and never knowing her father, she is raised by her slightly eccentric elderly grandmother.

On her sixteenth birthday, the strange dreams begin. Her unconscious mind is invaded by dragons, faeries, and other mythological creatures. Eventually, the beings become the subject of her art. One particular faerie stands out so much that Sera decides she wants it as a tattoo.

Zac Schaffer is the only tattoo artist in town. He is also her best friend’s older brother and Sera’s crush since junior high. When he agrees to do the tattoo, he also insists that Sera go out with him. Unable to believe her luck, Sera agrees and couldn’t be happier.

Two new mysterious guys move to the small town Sera lives in. Kieran becomes Zac’s new roommate, while Trevor is in almost all of Sera’s classes in school. Both seem to be completely infatuated with her.

The closer her tattoo gets to completion, the more Sera’s dreams change. She learns the truth about the dragons and faeries she has become accustomed to seeing every night when she closes her eyes.

Can Sera accept this new path her life is on? Which of the three gorgeous guys will she choose?

I started seriously writing when my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. I needed to find a way to escape the world I was living in, and for once, reading just wasn't cutting it.

I had a story running around in my head for years, and I had never bothered to put it on paper. Once I started writing, I couldn't stop. The First Love series was born.

Follow Marissa as she meets and falls in love with the older bad boy Chad in Summer Love. Watch their relationship grow. When Marissa goes home at the end of the summer, she doesn't know what to expect. In Autumn Goodbye, their relationship hits more than a few rocky patches.

Another new novel of mine, From the Corner of Her Eye, shows how Kylie deals with being "different" from other children her age. She sees ghosts and eventually learns to communicate with them. Can she uncover the truth about her boyfriend's brother's death? Can she make the visions stop so she can just be "normal?"

A new project of mine is Self Inflicted. Aurora is a part of a toxic relationship with Erik, but will she realize it before it's too late?

What the actual freak did I just read????

I loved the story. Don't get me wrong, but...the epilogue. Seriously???? It made me want to smash things.

Please tell me there will be more and a certain someone had better get his crap together because the transformation was devastating. Completely, utterly devastating!!!
