Good story. I have trouble believing that Stephen, the main character in the book, or any man would be sharing THAT many FEELINGS.

Boring, with characters just repeating themselves over and over and over...

This book took about 40% to actually get interesting, but I'm glad I stuck with it. I give it 3.5 stars. It was a good book once I got past the frustration. I'm happy with the eay it turned out, although I wish Allie woukd have been able to see her father. I wish Megan would have been able to come home or at least send word to her mother. It would have prevented a whole lot of heartache. Unfortunately, that's life. We all make choices, sometimes the best we can at the time, and hindsight is always 20/20. I'm glad Casey was able to get answers to his life at 13 rather than 24 or 31 or 35, I think that makes it easier, and he has plenty of people to get him through the teenage years. I'm glad Allie was able to forgive and trust. It really was a good book, you just have to force yourself to push through nearly the first half.

A slow story with deep emotions that keep you wanting to read. Great characters in Allie and Stephen. Although you see their lives progressing together, the twists in the story keep you wanting. Loved this book!

I loved this book. From page one it sucked me in and I had a hard time putting it down. So many secrets so many lies, poor Allie doesn't know who or what to believe.
Excellent story, many twist and turns. If you have not read anything by Teresa Hill, I strongly recommend that you do.
